I love how she always shows another product she made and always asks “if you would like a video on how I made this....” of course Sis, we want the video!!! We never say no. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I’m usually a silent subscriber, the one that ALWAYS likes the video, but never comment. But today I made this leave in and GIRL!!! It’s the truth!! I used hibiscus, fenugreek and ginger tea and left out the glycerin and aloe Vera oil and substituted it for avocado, jojoba and sweet almond oil (1 tablespoon of each oil). SIS!!! Keep these recipes coming. I also tried the fenugreek prepoo and added ambunu leaves 😭😭🙏🏾 It’s AMAZING. Girl may God forever bless you. #BootyCrackLengthHair #ImComingForYou!!
Can I ask why did you substitute the aloe Vera oil for the avocado, jojoba oil and the sweet almond oil instead and why did u leave out the glycerin? just curious ?
@@Truthbetold718 I didn’t have aleo vera oil or glycerin. I just used what I had and it worked great. Hibiscus is an Ayurvedic flower that contains lots of Vitamin C and other nutrients that are good for the hair and body. You can buy it in powder form, pill form, dried flower form ect.... ☺️
I truly love your presentation and depth of knowledge in this natural hair community. I'm newly natural and a 20 year educator leading a school back in a pandemic. You Tube is my new escape. Thanks for being fabulous! And your girl Faye in the City!
Okay SheRea! Let's bankrupt these companies😂 fine okay 😆 I have everything except for the preservative which I'll buy soon☺ but I'll try a small batch and refrigerate.
I always Macgyver my conditioners, but I haven't made one from scratch. I will definitely soon. Thanks to your idea of soaking and straining fenugreek powder, I added some to my leave-in DC. My hair gave me a 2 min standing ovation then sat in their curly seats.
Making it right now! So excited to try! And let me just say, as an ayurvedic product business owner, thank you so much for speaking of the importance of preservatives in homemadehair care. I'm part of a natural hair group on Facebook and I see a lot of women freaking out at the thought of using preservatives and their natural hair products thinking that it's unsafe or not truly "natural" when all preservatives do is inhibit the growth of harmful bacteria
Tried this with my daughter and can't believe how simple it was she's 9 and learned so much while doing it. We didn't have spearmint but used eucalyptus instead and wow can't believe how much money I'm going to save doing this!
Yes Teacher, I am back! Big Ups to You SheRea on this leave in conditioner! I ordered all my ingredients, pulled out the laptop to follow you step by step and a tear rolled down my cheek! Kudos to you for the baking measurements cuz that's all I know! Lol! I have steered away from DIY's that went with scientific measurements, you know the ones you don't know how to measure?! Anywho, I decided to do twists and used this lovely cream and at first I thought it might be too heavy, but honey let me tell you, my hair drank it till it was full and my hair is so shiny and hella moisturized! My hair is so soft, I can't stop touching it! Everyone who watches this video, Please Hurry Up and get to 3000 likes so I can see how SheRea makes her DIY hair grease! Keep the classes coming girl, I am here for it! Have a Fantastic day! :)
Now listen, you already know we want the DIY for the grease! I’m slowly getting supplies for your recipes. Soon as I’m back to work my hair is about to be long!
Firstly, It’s the inches for me. Secondly, I been waiting for this leave in recipe! The ingredients, the texture, just amazing! You def are the DIY Slayer! Love it 💕
Wow.... What an amazing video. This is the definition of providing a ridiculous amount of value. This is someone who truly cares about her subscribers and wants everyone to reach that booty crack length hair. I will definitely be trying this recipe. Thank you so much for sharing this with us. You just gained another subscriber! 😁
I tried your conditioner and absolutely loved how it made my hair feel - soft and surprisingly very moisturized. The wild thing is, I also tried another RU-vidr's DIY conditioner and found myself coming back to your conditioner. Your conditioner resulted in more shine and an overall healthier feel. I truly appreciate you.
I’m not even done watching the video yet but off rip THANK YOU SO MUCH for using COOKING measurements instead of ounces omg 😭😭😭 you are the realest 🙌🏾 definitely gonna try this one 🔥
I just want to say that I've been pondering about making my own diy for my whole hair routine and you have inspired me frfr, I think the natural the product the better, thank you for this information I'm definitely watching all of them
What I can say is that you just gave a wonderful and significant class to your viewers on product elaborating. I will now call you teacher. You dont know me. But, that means alot coming from me.
Just made this last night and it is AMAZING! The consistency turned out exactly like yours in the video. I put it in my hair last night and twisted it up. Thank you so much for sharing.
i made this lotion and it turned out so well. I was experiencing serious skin irritation and hair loss from using so called store bought natural moisturizers. When i looked up the ingredients to my surprise they had dmdm, urea and other cancerous scalp irritating ingredients. i stopped using store bought products and got my DIY on. My scalp is better and my hair is growing back. Thank you so much for making this video it empowered me to make the products best for me. I also made my own shampoo and conditioner. Truly inspirational.
Of course we want to see your grease recipe! Your hair looks so healthy. I use to make my own conditioners and lotions, but then I got lazy. Please don't make me start back SheRea lol
My hair LOVES aloe vera. I'm an OG RU-vid hair consumer. My go to is KimmayTube's DIY leave-in (I'm dating myself!) It still works wonders, but I'm looking for something I didn't need to refrigerate. I buy her products, but there's nothing like her homemade version. I'm so excited to try your recipe!!
Hi Sherea this is a powerful leave-in conditioner. I appreciate the hard work you put into taking your time and breaking down everything. Love Love it. You being into mix of diy's too you got me girl😄😊
Sis, I finally got my stuff in the mail from Amazon and made the DC and... I don’t know what you did but...😢 the earth and the heavens moved on the moisture in my hair!!! This DIY is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I just made this recipe with aloe Vera juice, and water infused with nettle leaf, chamomille, slippery elm, marshmallow root, and some rosemary instead of just the fenugreek because I wanted to play around with it! Such a beautiful consistency and it makes my hair feel great. I used passionfruit and sweet orange essential oils in mine 🙂
Sis please take this comment as 2,999 likes plus my actual like! 😩 Really want to see that DIY grease. Loved this leave in recipe and will try soon. Thank YOU
Girl U never fail me. 2 yrs using DIY. My hair is flourishing. I'm starting a Hair Care Line. Is there a way we can talk? I would love to get some tips.
Hello everybody. I used SheRea leave in rice water for 2 weeks. I gained a half inch growth. Yeah. The 1st week my hair stayed crispy all week. I just moisturized like crazy. Second week my hair was moisturized and soft all week. Oh I sprayed everyday. I am impressed.
Thanks a million for this wonderful leave in . I have been using only natural ingredients in my hair since I started my journey early this year but can't find a natural way to keep my hair moisturized beyond day. I have low porosity hair I hope this works for me. Thanks very much for sharing. ❤
I'm on a haircare DIY journey and this is coming off as too much work for me, someone who loves convenience 😭 But Lord knows I'm trying to be more natural. Going to persevere and do this for sure!
I have now used this twice. Itis the first time I have included glycerine in a leave in and this has helped keep the moisture in my hair which means less frizzing although it took me a day forvit all to soak in
Marianna M. Just my suggestion-Try honeyquat as a humectant instead. It has the benefits of honey like slip and humectant properties without the stickiness. You can find it on lotion crafter supply websites. Personally, I find honey tends to “fight” with the btms 25 over time, resulting in it settling out of solution as it ages. There probably is a way to make it work, but I can’t get past the stickiness and hardening if I leave it on my hair for more than a day or two and I want something shelf stable for at least 3 mos when I make all that effort to mix it. Sorry to butt in on you ♥️ none of my irl friends have the interest to diy lol
K Renee No thank you! This helps me so much girl! I was JUST googling hella vegetable glycerin substitutes to see what I could use. I did see honeyquat, so that’s definitely the one I’m going to try first
@@trendsetter51 glad to help! Fyi, you could also try the recipe without the dedicated humectant. Just replace the missing volume with more water or aloe vera. I developed a very similar recipe myself through trial and error. You will miss out on some of the "dewiness" of the recipe, but your result will likely still be far and away better than what you can buy in the store because the effects of the aloe cannot be understated! Good luck ♥️
I’m kind of a diy chic myself and I was thinking maybe a small amount of marshmallow root powder or slippery elm powder. Also I’m gonna try this recipe substituting Irish moss powder for the glycerin. It’s a great emulsifier so it should make a nice texture that won’t separate
Girl! This conditioner looks soooooo yummy and thick! I gave you 1,500 likes today; the remaining 1,500 will be paid after I try the recipe :). I'm sooo excited to make this recipe. I can see the MOISTURE in your hair after you used the condish! JUICY!!! Stay tuned and BIG THANKS AND HUGS to you for sharing! PS - Your BTMS link in the descrip links to your Aloe Vera Oil YT vid; not the BTMS site.
Sisssssss!!! I want you to know I have not pulled the trigger on my Amazon cart WAITING for this video! Luckily all I need is the BTMS because the aloe vera oil was done "brewing" last week. I'm ready! 🏃🏾♀️🏃🏾♀️💨💨💨 p.s. Drop that grease video!!
✍️ more items to buy because of course I’m making this as well! I already made the cactus cleanse and aloe and cactus. So, why not! Thank you! You see why everyone is still waiting for the product line. Waiting for the diy grease! Thanks 🤗
THANK YOU!!🥰 This is THE BEST and most comprehensive DIY 👌 hair video I have seen to date!! And I have been watching hair videos for many years now. You really explain everything so that it's easily understood, and yoi break it down into terms that are easily followed so that we neophytes are able to do it ourselves and feel confident in our outcome!! 🥰👏🏼👏🏼 BRAVO 👏 👏 KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK and GOD BLESS YOU 🙏 🙏🙏
