Hello Practically saying , True 360 degree surround sound using soundbars is not possible that too in a small room. Because sound should get a proper chance to reflect and reach you for that surround effects. Hence I would say , looking practically, just expect from the device what they can actually offer. Hi. Great overview of the features and requirements in a soundbar. Was very helpful. What do you think of the Philips TAB8967 5.1.2 Soundbar? It has Dolby Atmos support and wireless rear speakers. The price is around 40K on Amazon. Do you think this soundbar is worth it for the price? My room size is 13 feet wide by 11.5 feet in length (approx. 150 sq. ft.). The TV is wall-mounted opposite to the bed and there is a wall on the left side of the TV and the bedroom door on the right side. The TV is 55 Inches and the viewing distance is approximately 10 feet. The bed is only a few centimetres from the wall so pretty much no space between the bed and the wall. If the surround speakers will be installed, they will be wall-mounted next to the bed rather than behind the bed. The Soundbar will also be wall-mounted under the TV and the subwoofer will sit in n the floor just beside the TV. Thanks.
Hello Thank you for sharing your requirement ina detailed way. 5.1 surround channel soundbar usually creates a better soundstage in a room size bigger than 150 sqft. This Dolby Atmos soundbar is recommended when you watch mostly OTT contents. Also do note , surround speakers are for only surround effects, they don't produce sound for every audio and their volume too is according to the contents played in tv. Best wishes:)

Hello Ofcourse you can get a soundbar , but a soundbar requires proper space for audio to reflect back and create a perfect soundstage. I would suggest to go with Sony HT A9 home theater with bass module. This has good clarity , bass and will give surround experience. Also supports 4k and 8k pass through. Hello Samsung q700b has beautiful audio clearity and low bass performance, but for the proper utilisation of 3.1.2 channel , your room acoustics should be kept in mind. If the position of soundbar is at perfect location from walls and ceilings then for sounds to reflect and then reach to you, then it's a perfect one for you. Yamaha yas 209 too has beautiful vocal clearity even in high bass effects. But samsung is more preferable here. Best wishes :)
