Spear skill tree here, sorry for not including in the video: nwdb.info/build?skills=10-iwyjnk-tsmpms UPDATE: In terms of "raw DPS" Rapier definitely outperforms this build, but it does not provide the debuffs we get from Spear. Also, putting 50 points into Intelligence may net us more damage than going with the attributes I present in this video, due to the 5% extra damage against enemies who have a damage-over-time effect on them! Will create an updated guide for some other DPS builds after playing a few days of the expansion

Hi, returning player here. Nice guide. Quick question: I thought with the new gearing system only named items could be upgraded to 700. Did I get that wrong? Because I see that your armor is mostly not named (crafted?). I'm confused.
interested in PVE builds around Bow and/or Blunderbuss. Esp new player leveling guides, as we progress to artifacts etc...progression guides are lacking currently
Yo @BagginsTV if I were to start this build at low level how do recommend using attribute points? Like which one to increase first or what would be best for solo leveling?
Basically you need GS625 to use any of these builds and be maxed out with all weapons. Nice guide but I see nothing in here for "dad gamer" who doesn't play 90 hours a week. Would like to see a new player / leveling guide for new expansion also a build to use while leveling.
GS goes to 700 now, gs 625 is the new 590, which is def not unattainable for dad gaming, anything named that is 590 to 624 will. Be auto upgraded to 625, so weapons will be taken care of.
Bro are you complaining that an ENDGAME build needs younto be at an endgame lvl lmao. Also what part says you need all weapons at lvl 20 to work that doesn't matter at all
Nowhere in the title or in the video does it say it's an endgame build. He(CrypticAsden) actually said it is a nice guide so he's not shitting on Baggins. I agree with his comment about no guides for new players, leveling etc. I dislike guides that are about endgame and BiS when they don't say the progression to get there. None of the "content creators" make leveling guides and that's what's keeping me and I am sure others from subbing to their channels/Twitch. @@egbert5871
Yea I feel like running a hatchet instead would be better and just spec into strength for more flat damage. The empowered in the dexterity is nice, but I feel like just having higher flat damage is better since empowering isn't always up
Secondo me meglio se avevi 350 forza e 202 dex , in più non ho capito perché giochi leggero ? Questa build solitamente si gioca o media o pesante leggero fai più danni ok ma sei una briciola secondo me 😅
The greatsword and spear duo doesn't make much sense to me. Spear can be used as a main weapon because it can cause serious damage even on its own. Therefore, I think it is illogical to use it as a side weapon. Also, if the greatsword artifact is to be used, the greatsword should be used constantly (to accumulate buffs on it.) Therefore, a hard cc weapon, such as a warhammer, or a hatchet throwing build can be used as the second weapon. Frankly, I will use Greatsword and hatchet build for PVP, and I will buy hatchet as artifact because it can deal serious damage and throw solid debuffs (slow, root, heal reduction, armor break, damage reduction). Also musket, bow and the blunderbuss were nerfed by around 15% in pvp(u can check the notes). However, as long as Hatcet is played well, it will have a damage increase of around 60% and much faster shots can be made. Greatsword is already a weapon that can do a good job dealing close damage on its own. I would not prefer Greatsword's artifact in pvp because hitting heavily charged attacks makes the job a little difficult and boring. Also, it will be a big problem to accumulate buffs in PVP. However, in the pve part, I will use the Greatsword artifact because it will provide a serious damage gain. Especially in boss fights, single target damage will be very high. In the other build, the greatsword and warhammer duo, it is possible to increase the damage of the greatsword by 10% by purchasing the warhammer artifact and attaching the Lightning stone to the greatsword. Moreover, it is possible to be seriously op, especially in pvp, thanks to Warhammer's 50% dmg reduction buff and cc's.
Spear has moderate dps and serenity has high dps. Spear is for utility with rends, weaken with enfeebkinf skewer and fortifying perforate. It's a good utility weapon. The only argument would be great axe which would lower your dps but it's good for clumping but anyone can run that in the rest of your group. I agree with the other comment. Your opinion is an L take. Not to mention throwing hatchet has a weaker rend and weaker weaken. The only real utility your hatchet would provide is the death defying save. It fell pretty hard on dps as well
If u wanna use great axe for pve u should use it with void gauntlet. Huuuuge damage done for aoe. Or u can use it with ice gauntlet. And of course if u wanna do that, u need the greataxe artifact. And with the medium chest armor, it will be better.@@GenDrake3
I mean you can make that argument for a lot of weapons that there good so shouldn't be the off hand for a build, but thats the thing its a build he explained why he uses it for the debuffs its def a flex one though use another dex weapon if want that 300 dex passive
I like your content, sir. But I refuse to watch this one in particular. Because yes I will be using my flawed musket pve dps build and another flail dps pve build. When it comes to meta, I couldn't care less than what I already do.
Good for you lol. Still can be cool to watch a d see whats good unless you are one of the people that hates meta so much you want nothing to do with it at all
