Why not they have the internet right well just a heads up kids watch whatever they want now cause most have cellphones or tablets so honestly this isn’t even that bad. The internet has made everything way more easily accessible so this is not wven bad
The point was that DreamWorks didn't have to put this much effort, care, great storytelling, fantastic characterwork, and awesome animation into the sequel of a mid movie that's over a decade old already and forgotten by everyone. And yet they went the extra mile. @@Willis_war
"been following you for a long time" fun fact: you can see death among crowd, in scene where puss in boots defeats giant. So yeah, death was following him.
@@ggez3468 he ascended into heaven and sits at the right hand of the father in heaven Incase you're wondering, heaven is where God resides, not the place people go to when they die The afterlife takes place here on earth in our resurrected bodies. Paradise is when heaven reunites with earth like it was during the garden of eden
@@Winterstorm91Tf are you on about idiot! The one who didn't die and ascended to heaven was the so called Jesus that u guys think was executed! The one executed was simply a lookalike meant to deceive you! Jesus never died and went to heaven & will return when the end is near and after the devil himself descends to earth!
He normally isn’t a villain but the way they somewhat portrayed him he was somewhat a villain. I mean it his job to you know take people to the afterlife but the fact he couldn’t stand puss in boots laughing in his face for cheating death 8 times but since it’s his last life death wants to take it from now. He can’t live it the way he wants he just wants to take it from him very greedily.
@@rottenavocado2322no. He’s not the antagonist. Jack is. Death is a being that comes to collect the dead and in puss’s case he had cheated death too many times and never cared about living so death came to collect his life since he did not want it
He wasnt doing his job chasing Puss because he still had one more life, Death was holding a grudge against Puss for mocking him and taking life for granted.
He broke his regulations to get puss himself, he became a villain because he didn't think puss deserves 9 lives while others have 1 he WANTED to become his villain
Fun fact the reason he has quarters on his eyes in that one scene is because a common practice used to be that in order to keep the dead’s eyes closed at first they places coins of their eyelids
@@averyalbright-xg6npno I’m pretty sure the other guys right look it up it wasn’t to keep the eyes closed but to pay a ticket to the ferryman to planing them to the underworld
@@SeaBassInWater-oi3ltmegamind 2 was produced by Peacock and that good for nothing NBC. They just paid the rights of Megamind characters from Dreamworks to make the movie.
He was somewhat going beyond his authority. He was supposed to let Puss in Boots die in his own way rather than going after him. They do acknowledge this later in the movie
He actively hunted down Puss because he was holding a grudge for the shit he said. Puss still had another life left, death was essentially trying to do a wee little murder on him
Death job was to be fear of death and respect their life and puss was having a attitude of having of alot number of.lifes that's why death try to killed him to respect his life but in end moment he realized now he have respect his life
Death wanted to kill puss because he took life for granted and lived recklessly, death didnt just want to kill puss because of the contract, he literally WANTED puss dead So explain how death is not a villain?
@@Thezhazizno a villlain is someone doing something for a wrong cause or something with bad intention, an antagonist is just someone who goes against the hero, you can be an antagonist but not be a villain, jack was a villain and antagonist
@@ahhhhhhhhhhhh678he wasn’t actually trying to kill him. Puss would’ve died long ago if it was his time. Death was there to test him and see if he really WAS afraid/ready to die
Death is not a villain, he is a force of nature, a force of nature who has had his work and existence mocked endlessly by an arrogant cat. And he decided to show him what it was that he kept laughing at.
“Im death, and i dont mean it metaphorically, or rhetorically, or poetically, or theoretically, or any other fancy way… im DEATH… STRAIGHT.. UP” coldest sentence in all of fiction💀😩
No he wasn't, were you paying attention to the movie? Death wasn't doing his job here, he wanted to murder Puss just because he didn't like the nine lives system, that's not doing his job, that's just wanting to murder.
@@ExiledPlaton Alright look, just because he enjoys his job, so much so, he wanted to do it nine times, doesnt mean its murder. All I'm hearing is that Death felt personally challenged by puss and then showed up looking for a killstreak
@@minor7156 I guess you're right. I just we could see her in action more than pushing someone off the stairs. A backstory showing her climbing up through the ranks could also benefit the story more.
This character is shown in the movie for a total of like 10 minutes give or take, but he COMPLETELY stole the entire movie. Such a fantastic antagonist omg
"Everyone thinks they'll be the one to defeat me but no one escaped me yet" That was cold and best line ever Bro I was gone for eight days and it's already 1.2k like what!?🤯
@@nigellmanargadoo8116so there is a joke about cats having 9 lives (since cats are lucky and survive alot of harsh incident, there was a cat that survived falling from the 11th floor)
@@nigellmanargadoo8116soo thats why he is angry cause cats get 9 live and puss in boots never appreciated his lives soo he wanna take the only one that he have now
@@FearedIce-9813 "No one has escaped me yet" this is talking about how people try to cheat death, at first glance you assume he meant his bounties not those who die
This edit is insane. The man who picked the voice for death and the va himself did a great job. English isn't my go to language but i watched it in english because of this voice! Thanks again for this clip, and to the producer of that movie!
I love Brazilian voice overs. They're talented. There's one in DragonBall-Z where the Brazilian voice of "Broly" screaming was chilling compared to any other version.
