Water bottles, puzzle mugs and animal pillows maybe are winners. I have already seen everything else in many e shops. Markets get saturated so quickly with new products, it's almost impossible to come up with a product that is new to the market. It's either your marketing strategy that wins, the super focused niche or the super unique product (which is almost impossible to find or you will have to make it yourself).

I'm noticing quite a bit that products on aliexpress are on amazon for the same price! That means the wholesalers on Aliexpress are on Amazon cutting us out! If that is the case, then droppshipping is dead and so is Aliexpress as a source.

This is the exact problem with competitors always beating each others prices. Eventually someone makes it so low, a new seller cannot compete with such a low profit margin. Now the market sucks.

These wholesalers have started quoting retail prices on sites like aliexpress and alibaba etc. So if these guys are going to do retail also then whats the point in drop shipping

Unfortunately, last time when I tried to sell one of recommended products, there were ( for sure) other people who went ed to sell or already selling the 'roduct . I so'd only 1 product since then, even though I have not only an online store , but Amazon store also. I appreciate your general advice , like try to find a unique product, but it is not a unique anymore if a few thousands people watch this video. This is the hardest part , - to find a product that NOBODY ( yet) sell and start selling it to the right audience before other merchants find it too.

Great points. To be honest, you want to find products that are popular not rare. It's a grey area and a fine balance you need to find, customers want what other people have and are excited about! For example, wireless headphones are not rare, but when you see others who have them you eventually want them too and so the customer base grows! -Jessica

Did you miss the number one criteria in the video - "1. Hard To Find"? Most of the items she talks about are all over Amazon, Walmart, Target, etc. They are NOT hard to find. Also I just researched Facebook for Moon Lamp ads. There are ads listed as far back as 2016 on Facebook. If you want to give it a shot, I wish you the best of luck. I truly hope you prove me wrong and make thousands of dollars for yourself.

I mean they are very different categories. Can I put them all in one site? and how do I advertise for the site if it contains so many different types of products (like Choker Necklace, and Moon Lamps...etc) I mean what would the common theme of all of those different types of products? thanks

Moon Lamps have been around since late 2016. There are ads on Facebook from that far back. Also, they are available at many retail stores. Not hard to find.

So far my experience with Oberlo has been just okay but not great. I find too many problems with it. A lot of product descriptions are missing details or are inconsistent with the photos. Spelling and grammar is atrocious. I understand they are written by Asians but Oberlo would do well to have better quality control over products they list for drop shipping. Some of the product photos don't always load up into Shopify. Details on products are very lacking, especially compared to AliExpress and DHGate. And I'm finding the number of products available to be dismal. Oberlo does have some great products, but too many gaps in what's available such as women's dress shoes.

They are available from both. Alibaba is for bulk purchasing and AliExpress is for purchasing 1 or 2 at a time.

I think I know what you're trying to say, most youtubers HAVE to keep people watching for the first 5 minutes of video to keep their video "ranking", if people close the video before 5 minutes, the video loses traffic, so people naturally add filler.
