Hey guys and welcome back to Mad About Skin where in this video I want to share with you my thought on the Revolution Skincare Miracle Cleansing Balm which many are calling the best cleansing balm 2024 and a perfect dupe for the Elemis Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm at a fraction of the cost.
The Elemis Pro Collagen Cleansing Balm has been a cult favourite for so many people, loved for its effective cleanse and also its skin smoothing benefits. However the Revolution Skincare Pro Miracle Cleansing Balm will do just the same but without the high price point.

Apologies in advance if I sound like a preaching bore here.. It's crucial to address the use of cleansing balms like the Revolution one containing Ethylhexyl Palmitate, aka Palm Oil. Research reveals the devastating impact on wildlife in palm oil sourcing areas. It's disheartening to see support for cruelty-free cosmetics, yet overlook the use of products with palm oil. The environmental and wildlife toll of palm oil sourcing, as witnessed in places like the Malaysia, Indonesia, and Borneo, is alarming. Conversations with locals highlight their efforts to safeguard land and wildlife, resorting to tactics like fake gunshots to protect animals from harm during palm oil sourcing. Ultimately, orangutans, elephants, and other inhabitants are displaced from their natural habitats. Just because a product is labeled "cruelty-free" doesn't absolve it from other ethical considerations.

Rob, the reviews are positive and I liked the one pointing out you place timestamps in the videos. Great point! However, if you want to change things up in each show and experiment then do that. Couldn’t imagine anyone walking away bc you want to try doing shows in a different way. You are a creative person. If you want to be creative with show content, knock yourself out. We will be here❤😊

I love the Revolution Skincare ceramide lotion. I have their squalane&oat cleansing balm at home (that one is a bit too thick for my liking). My favorite product of all Revolution branches, though, must be their 4D hair oil.

Love this!! I'm a huge fan of Revolution products - will it be better than the Sali Hughes one which is just lovely. I think your vids are fab, fellow northerner here loves hearing your accent and the info you give is invaluable especially for those whose pockets are not as deep as some reviewers like to think. I'll be popping it in my basket next shop! I must say My skin has improved dramatically over the last few years, I'm 47 and since following a real and consistant skincare routine my confidence has been boosted, especially since people are saying I look 10 years younger than I am - I'll take that ANYDAY! I'm not saying I have good genes, but I do know the skincare and advice your channel has given me has helped for SURE!! Keep up the good work, I'm jealous of your skincare shelf!! 😍

I use the ELF cleansing balm for over a year now it is only $11 for a jar and I dont need much. I did not know about massaging it in for a min or two as I just put rub it on and then remove it with one of my Erase Your Face make up remover towel. I will have to remember to keep it on my face a bit longer. Thanks for the tip!

Sounds like a great product. I will keep it on my radar. Right now my dermatologist has me doing a skincare detox. I'm only using a strict list of approved products from Vanicream until my psoriasis and eczema get under control. Than I'll revisit the stuff I used to love from Herbivore Botanicals, and new things like this balm. Oh if it has palm oil in it, then I'm skipping. It's technically not for Vegans if they include palm oil in the ingredients.

I switched to Revolution squalane & oat cleansing balm from The ordinary's squalane one, haven't tried the miracle balm but I'm going to order it now and give it a go As for the intro Rob it's perfect the way it is, everything about your videos is just the best, my motto has always been if it's not broke it don't need fixing ❤❤

If you are thinking about skipping the intro just do an experiment and try it without, see how the reactions and engagement are. I like listening to you and I will continue to do that no matter what 😉 I think your standing is good enough to try out a few things. On revolution: I feel a bit icky about them (hope this is the right word) since they also seem to dupe smaller brands. I also wouldn't want them to do that to yours for example. So I'm not tempted to try them.

I love my Elemis, but not the price!(i always try to catch it in deals. ) I only recently began using these type of cleansers-I always used a gentle exfoliant, plus Eve Lom's foaming cleanser- then I tried the Strip makeup foaming cleanser with whipped coconut oil, and loved that- so I'll give this one a try!

Revolution is a very controversial brand that doesn’t seem to have their own identity but rather is well known for copying everyone else. That said I buy from them at times as they’re easy to get hold of here, being English, whereas most of what I hear about on RU-vid is not. I haven’t found any of their skincare amazing but some of their make up is pretty good.
