I can attest to exfoliants like retinol or AHA acids started in your twenties paying off big time when you are in your sixties. Trust me. I started using AHA for acne back in my twenties as it really helps unblock pores but I noticed even then that this was brightening my complexion too. Smoothing out surface texture and dark marks. Because of that I have used it continuously since the 80's when Alpha Hydrox came on the market. Not bragging but no one and I mean no one thinks I am 62. I get people guessing low forties most of the time. Due to acne I always had a skin care regimen including cleansing, toning and moisturizing and exfoliating. Dont need a lot of money. But you need to be consistent. Happy aging ladies.

I love Alpha Skincare, it is the single line that I saw real results from in all the years before I started using retinoids. It’s not expensive, though it’s not very luxurious either...but who cares, it works! Personally, though, as a former tanning addict, I contribute the fact that I’m aging well to genetics. I’ve always looked much younger than I am, and so do most of the women on my mother’s side of the family.

Check out Alpha Skincare products. You used to see them in a lot of stores, but I haven’t in years...but they do have a website and they do have exfoliating creams made for the body as well as the face. All of the products are formulated with an appropriate PH so that the active ingredients actually work. Very inexpensive too. You can also buy on Amazon, but I’d check out the website first to get the info on which product would work best for you.

Have you researched - Parlandealey Forever Young Process (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now)? It is a good exclusive guide for learning what to eat to slow down your ageing process without the hard work. I've been using an eye cream since I was 15. I am 60 now and trust me, it works. I use the Cera Ve one and it is very good. I want to look into the ROC one, but only for night time.

The loreal revitalift eye cream, the two in one red bottle. At the store I go to it usually runs about 13 to 15 dollars. I LOVE this stuff, not only does it work fantastically under the eyes, but its gentle enough to use all over the face. I buy this stuff all the time.

It is a great one off product for learning what to eat to slow down your ageing process without the hard work. My favorite eye cream is ROC I can tell the difference when I’ve switched to other brands. I always come back to it. I buy it at Sam’s Club where it’s less expensive than some other places.

Something else to keep in mind - sometimes stores like Walmart will make their own knock-off version of things like this that contain the same ingredients, but will save you $$. PLEASE do another of these videos on facial moisturizer! I've been looking for a good affordable one. I picked up the Elf Hello Hydration moisturizer last week and I like it so far, but I'd love to know what other ones are good and affordable! 😘😘

I ❤️ that Cerave eye cream so much that I actually used my first one up, and repurchased it! At 57, I have given up on using concealer and with this eye cream I really don’t have any need for it. I had more issues with puffiness than darkness, but this cream resolved it. 😎

I've been using Roc products for a few years now, including the eye cream. When I had my makeup done for my wedding last year, the makeup artist could tell I use retinol products because of how smooth my skin was! Since retinol promotes cell turnover it also helps with texture. I love the Roc eye cream and night cream!

You mentioned these products for under the eyes but I use eye cream on the lid too. Dryness set in while in my 40s. so I assume your review works for all over the eye. Thanks for researching this for us!

I got to say, retinol is great for fine lines etc. your eye oil glands the meibomian glands get severely affected by retinols leading to dry eye over time with continuous use. I learned this from my eye doctor and dermatologist.
