Hi, do you apply moisturizers and/or serums to damp skin? For example, after washing face at night, would you apply moisturizer to damp skin and then apply a retinoid? How about in the morning after washing, would you apply niacinamide to a damp face? Thanks!

Hi dr V. I wonder if its okay to use regular moisturizers around the eye area. Would something like the general cerave moisturizer be okay to use around the eye area if you’re not willing to invest in an additional eye cream? I just feel Dr V just now talk about all the products and takes out fault in each one and ultimately bring up her own product proving it as best…no doubt she is non sponsored but she should tell the best products available to us also and she must b making best products but for us in UAE or india it takes lots of shipping. She gives a very good knowledge & well-informed videos but plz show us best products which r viral & widely available.

Hi Dr V, please could you discuss your analysis of low molecular weight HA, I have read about it being an inflammatory ingredient when present in multiple steps in your skincare routine, and seeing how prolific sodium hyaluronate is, it ends up being rather difficult to avoid. I know its a really good marketing hack for brands as an excellent hydrator (despite other hydrating/moisturizing humectant ingredients like glycerin far surpassing its capabilities) due to how much money has been thrown behind the marketing for HA for customer education. My skincare routine as of now is below : AM - Cetaphil gentle face skin cleanser, Kama ayurveda pure rose water face toner, Klairs vitamin c serum, Beauty of joseon dynasty cream and Beauty of joseon Relief sun Rice & Probiotics SPF 50+ PA++++ PM - Simple skin refreshing facial wash, Cosrx snail 96 mucin power essence, Cosrx 0.1% retionol and Cosrx advanced snail mucin 92 all in one creme I'm 33 and everyone thinks I'm 23 .. I already have a baby face from before but since a year now I've been putting some effort to start taking care of my skin and I look even younger now. A few months ago, I was asked for my ID proof when going to a pub with my friends because they did not believe I'm 33. You don't really have to break your head and follow a 5 skin care routine if you don't want to..it's not a must. But most importantly one thing that you shouldn't miss is DON'T SKIP SUNSCREEN!!! This is non negotiable. It will really do you good in the long run ❤
