hello! these videos have been unlisted for a while but im putting them back up publicly because ive been seeing people still viewing them using the link. for context, i made these videos as i played through the game the first time, thus a lot of the content is outdated, so there is no need to comment that there is "something better" anyways, thank you all!
@@BeerdedDragon Complete Ranni‘s Questline. Once you have the Moonlight Greatsword, go to her Tower again and in front of the Tower you‘ll see Blaidd crying / turning insane. You need to kill him right then and there to get his Armor and Sword. If you try to kill him earlier, you will not get it.
This map keeps getting bigger and bigger. I noticed last night that the map seemed to extend past the glintstone castle or whatever, but I didn't realize this. This game is amazing
I'm currently lvl 48 and taking the game slowly. I thought I discovered most of the map, until I saw this video. I haven't even discovered like 60% of it. This game is crazy.
Ya it’s fucking insane I just got to level 51 and I’ve been struggling massively in the areas I’m in now. I didn’t wanna “farm” but honestly you have to if you don’t wanna get one hit every time you go to a new place
I saw the map during the early game and how far I could scroll and I was like "Huh, tiny bit smaller than I thought but decent size and seems to have a good amount of content therein". Then I took that portal to the place in Cadia. And looked where I was on the map, which had now readjusted to new borders. Jaw hit the goddamned floor. This map is HUGE!
@@marcosdiaz5068 same my vigor at 30 and was getting 2 shoted by the crucible knight and his pet at a mig game zone and now i realize I should grind for better armor and better summons, trying to go for a cheese build since the crucible knight is just a cheater in the fight, i looked up everything i thought i would need for a good and sort of cheesy build and i think i got it, just need a certain chest piece that won't drop because my arcane is only 7 💀
@@TMind109 Are you stealthing the mini ninjas by the bridge on the Far East Of the map? They give 1000 runes each. The can one shot you with a ground swipe attach but if you go full offensive and stagger them you can take them easily one on one. Stealth stab is best you can knock them down to 30% health right away. About two dozen in the area Around the bridge with a dragon on it and up by the winged titan. Can get 30k in 10 minutes roughly.
Oh man, this game is so massive and takes so long to grind so not many good youtubers are late game making helpful stuff like this. Thanks tons for the late game info bro
As a noob and limited in time because of work. When there aren’t an easy mode, then I prefer to lvl up and get the some decent gear before continuing 😀 It doesn’t feel good to die 5-10 times at the same boss 😂
In later on the same area, after you defeat the first boss in this region, there is one enemy outside the room of the site of grace where give 7500 soul and you can get 4-5 runs in a minute which is about 2mil too.
A bit further down after the boss of this area, there is a site of grace called "Prayer room" where a knight will spawn literally just before, killing the the knight will give you around 6,500 runes. They are a bit difficult to kill but you can charge a sneak attack.
You can get faster farm(compared to the Boulder at least) from Night and Flaming the Old Broads at the Windmill Festival for those who are unable to you know, reach this area safely. The chicks don't even attack until you actuallly attack one of them... less there is already a hostile nearby, like that damnable mutt zomb higher up the hill
Another great spot is in the same area at the prayer room grace u turn around and head out the door and kill the cleanrot knight, he gives 6k runes and 7532 with scarab. I found it’s best to use a weapon that can stagger. Also if you get lucky and he has gold eyes he’ll give 37k.
If you want to make this faster fast travel back to the site of grace after the second big group of enemies and just repeat that would probably give more runes then just running back to the grace site and maybe getting 4 more kills on the way back.
@@imjuststinky Ah ok I still need to try this farm but I still got to get enough int to wield the sword of night and flame ill see if I can find a way to not be in combat after that second group of enemies. another tactic that might make it faster is just jumping to your death after the second group and using that to respawn at the grace point if its faster and then just pick up your dropped runes on the next run. would defiantly be a lot riskier though.
Since DS3 had a spot where you could farm ~80k souls in a single run with the all the Serpent rings and the Shield of Want equipped, I hope we find a farming place soon that provides something around those lines. But this is by far the best method I've seen yet!
I was going to type something along those lines. You got 90K on just NG with only the normal serpent ring, and in the DLC you could get a +3 version that would bump that to 117k in 90 seconds. Either 3.6 million from the normal game or 4.6 million per hour if you had the DLC.
@@darkdraco02 I’m trying to figure that out too. I’m about where this guys at and I haven’t seen anything yet. Just that consumable that gives you like a 45% boost:/
@@elsenderogamer7280 doesn't seem like it, if you clear all like 30 something guys on the plateau then you have about 30k+ in 5 min. And you get the mechanics down vs just practicing the horse movement with the ball
If you go to the prayer room grace in that same area. there is a knight to the right just outside of the door he gives 6k runes per kill and takes me maybe 15 seconds from grace to kill and reset. the grace is super close to the knight so super fast resets. depends on your weapon on how fast you kill him. you can sneak up on him so i hit him with 2 heavys and a reposte.
Far easier to go to the bestial sanctum and farm the mini ninjas. They give 1000 runes each. They can one shot you but you can stealth them down to 30% health from behind and mop up real quick. There are enough between the sentinel with wings and the bridge with the dragon to get close to 30k before using the bridge grace to reset. Just run around the area crouched holding down faster movement button and get behind them.
@@starscream6629 that is a waste of time, i can easily get 60k+ before you can get 30K. bestial sanctum is only good super early in the game. anthing after is just a big waste of time.
Thanks man. I was waiting for exactly a video like this. But I hope that someone finds an even better farm where you get up to 1 million souls in 6 minutes like in Dark Souls 3 with the soul farming set and the golden winged knights. This would be absolutely ideal.
Is it possible to get here if you’re not at a certain boss/point in the game? I’ve been trying to push my way to this location and farm but can’t seem to find the right path or even the closest map marker to open it up more
At first I thought I was hallucinating then I saw that you were getting like 10K per group that's insane, thanks for this gonna go do this for like 4 hours now xD
I love that your saying souls. It tells me your not a noob to fromsoft games. I have to go back to my sculptors idol and get my blood echoes back from firelink shrine after the hunters dream burns
The ball farm takes a lot of time like for 30 to 40 level too for 3 - 4 levels almost have to farm 100k in 30 min prob. I think a better way than the ball should be present. This one is good for late game.
A bit north of the ball farm are tiny dudes that give 1k per kill, and they die in one shot to a decent damage backstab. Not nearly as good as this farm but I think it's better than the ball.
i timed mine for an hr and i went as fast as i could without any deaths and i got around 300k souls, but this ^ farming method is lightyears better for late game
This is f BS. So the best sword in the game needs mage stats?????... wtf. I cant believe how mage based this game has been made ....so playing a STR...ENDU....VIGOR.... Sword shield character is a waste of time... instead level mage shit like intelligence and faith and mind... and boom you are OP. WTF. Why even show in trailers warriors and armor... just show mages running around casting spells. I hope they fix this shit with a patch .... so melee classes are lame and boring... if you want to kick ass level intelligence and faith. my god what a beta male way of playing... thanks a lot elden ring developers. I guess they lost their testosterone.
So i have got to mountaintops of the giants but can't get past the fire giant, can i still get here? I have tried looking around the area but the giant archers make looking around hard.
The best spot is mogwyns palace ledge overlook this run is to long when mogs gets you about 33k per run and it's less then 5 minutes if 3 minutes idk if 33k is with boosters tho the sleeping enemies give you 2k each and 3.1 with the scarab this run is to drawn out and complicated tht mohgwyns one is right by the grace no need for this one. You also dont have to worry about being decked out like you are throw some bleed on 2 uchis or one or grab a greatsword and smash and the only real opposition is the 3 or 4 red mohgywn soldiers not to mention you may get a yellow eyes for 12k each time you refresh
you can do it even faster, by taking a normal bow and hitting the big enemy on the otherside of the cliff at mogwyns palace. Its the same spot, you just need to attack the big enemy, he will run the cliff down, and you get 10k. Now u just go to the bonfire again, and repeat. You dont even need to w8 for the runes, just when u see him falling do a reset.
one of my favorite ways to farm runes, although not as efficient, is to just help people beat bosses. Depending on the boss you can have some fun while getting a lot of runes
FR, I've been having so much fun with getting summoned. I use it to scout out new areas everytime I find one of those little dungeons, or in certain stretches of the main dungeons to search for all the nooks and crannies.
Seems fairly ineffective, lots of spare time between enemies and they don't worth much xp. You really want to go Mohgwyn Palace - Palace Approach Ledge-Road Site of Grace. There are 16 mobs right at the site for 47k xp and it takes about half a minute to kill them all and quick travel back for reset. Best part is that only 4 are actually hostile, so it's fairly safe as well.
@@arderiann dodge to the side then focus the one attacking you one at a time if you can't kill them fast enough level up enough first by doing other shit in the game, I got to around level 100 before finishing Leyndell and deciding to grind.
At the firdt grace of mohgwynn palace there is like 15 or so enemies, and only 4 of them are aggro. Each one gives 2k or so, and it take maybe 2 minutes to kill them all if you have a strong weapon, maybe try making a video for that?
@@thekingar325 mohgwynn palace is a place you get to through a teleporter in the northern snowy areas, but it requires a lot of stuff to do. It late into the game.
I'm lvl 60 and following the I guess "intended path" of the game, but I still feel super underleveled. I either get my shit rocked, don't do enough damage, or the enemies I'm able to kill aren't giving enough souls. No in-between. Compound all that with the fact that it takes 25k souls to level up and it equals a frustrating time.
@@royloplays bruh I've got +12 uchi, +12 claymore, +5 game of thrones greatsword, I feel like I should be shitting on every enemy but I'm getting destroyed by basic bitch miners in the caves. Repecced from dex to quality to str and I'm still at a loss
@@prodbyANT I do find that some enemies do seem to have insane damage. there are some mages in the area before the hagiltree that nearly one shot me and I have 45 vigor using the radagon scarseal. I feel like some enemy balancing needs to happen to specific enemies.
@@alexmoberg8943 I got there around level 70 or so, I think. Was my spot to farm when I needed up until about 110 or so, which is where I felt grinding had served its purpose. I think it's plenty!
Nice vid but ive got a better and much easier farm. Go to temple of plague; right outside the front door are two baddies that give 612 each. Takes 10 seconds to run about 10 feet closer to the front door, cast any of the first tier dragon breaths through the door killing the two baddies with a full cast and then turn around and reset at the grace. 1224 every 10 seconds or less if youre fast enough or higher lvl. Doesnt even require a high lvl weap or anything.
Does anyone know if we can skip Leyndell or the Royal Capital all together in order to get to this area? I'm trying to farm up as much as possible before even starting that area so I can enjoy myself instead of getting two tapped the entire time
Any one know the fastest way to get to the location on video? How many bosses do I have to fight? I know if I beat every boss, I will eventually get there but is there any location that I can skip and go around like Stormveil Castle?
Once you meet the criteria for the sword do you have to keep investing into faith and into to increase damage of specials or can just investing into one of them increases the damage of both attacks
@@imjuststinky Thank you!! My idea was to meet the criteria for faith and invest everything else to int. I'm going for a battlemage style build but this sword can save me from wasting FP into the comet spell (the beam) while still whooping boss with Carian slicer and great sword and gavel! However, if the sword's skill dmg is also dependent on faith I might have to adjust. Currently thinking endgame Prisoner w/ 35 vig, 35 mid, 60 int, 24 fth, base stats for everything (130 lvl). I could lower to 55 int and add a bit of End for better carry weight or Dex for the moonveil katana as a backup :) what do you think?
thats sick, im not there yet but ill definetly use this. where did you farm before that? I farm at Farum Greatbridge but its gotten to the point where it takes forever to level up there
@LStinky How do you get to Haligtree canopy? I killed the commander in Castle sol, got the secret medallion and opened another area. But when i come back to throne room, those roots are still there Update: Got there after solving the puzzle in the town
Bro what the fuck the map gets even bigger?! I'm 35 hours into the game and i had no idea it was that big. Im so damn excited to keep playing, definitely saving this vid for later!
I think you'd like the other spot i've found to be super fruitful in Mohg's dynasty mausoleum. You can use the sword of night and flame or hoarfrost stomp on a regular weapon and clear out a bunch of albinaurics right next to the 'palace approach ledge-road'. they give over a thousand each and there's about 10-12 right next to the sign of grace, and a lake nearby with another 20+, although the ones on the lake are a bit tougher and more active.
