I love EL especially the bronze goddess line and the beautiful magnolia are excellent. Hibiscus palm is my favorite from the Aerin line. Thank you Soki! Would love a lemon perfume from you!
Estée Lauder perfumes accompanied me through my whole life. When I met my husband for the first time I wore Private Collection. On my wedding day I wore White Linen because it was too hot for Beautiful on that day. In 1985 I worked at an airport an wore Beautiful for the first day. A passenger was looking around and asking who smelled that fantastic and that he needs the name of this scent because he wanted it for his wife. A few years later I wore Spellbound. And my mum Knowing for several years. When I was pregnant with my second child I wore Pleasures. In 2013 I discovered Modern Muse on my first trip to NY. And finally last summer I wore Beautiful Magnolia on my sons wedding. But I am a little disappointed about the new releases. They are not so outstanding anymore as they used to be.
@monikah.1731 I was just posting that I just purchased my first bottle of Beautiful and I can’t wait until it arrives! My memory of smelling it on a good friend and her letting me wear hers a few times (when i forget to put on perfume) still leaves me longing for a bottle of my own. I only see her rarely these days so I saw no harm in finally wearing Beautiful. I decided to comment because I had 2 of the three original of the Private Collection but White Linen was my favorite. They were supposed to have the ability to be worn with the others which was a unique idea at the time. I wore Princess Marcella Borghese which I was in love with in the mid 80’s until they quit making it. It was so beautiful and a beast-mode fragrance- a little went a long way, it lasted 10-12 hrs or longer and a bottle lasted a LONG time and I was broken hearted when I went to Dillard’s to purchase another bottle and it had been discontinued for several years. 😭😭😭
Wow that's awesome . For you to use different kind of perfumes as you mentioned it above. I like it very cool. And I love to try it. But Estee Lauder and Pleasure, and white Linen I tried it, but private collection, beautiful, spellbound, Beautiful Mangolia.
My Mother loved Beautiful and Pleasures (which I still have her bottle). My personal favorite was Dazzeling Silver. They had this line in the late 90’s early 2000.
I bought the Beautiful Magnolia upon your recommendation (Soki Approved) during lock down and I am loving it ever since. It has been my signature summer secent for 2 years now. Thank you for your detailed and honest reviews. I have never regretted a blind buy which has your seal of approval. Bless you! 😇
I’m so glad to see an Estée Lauder video, although I noticed my two favorites were missing - Pleasures and Modern Muse. Pleasures was my go-to between 97-00. I find it so comforting. Then, in 2013 I got my first bottle of Modern Muse and I’ve loved it ever since. One of my favorites. ❤
I'm 22, and Azuree is my favorite estee lauder perfume it lasts over 15 hours on my skin. It's a wonderful chypre. I also love cinnabar, white linen, knowing as well as spellbound
I have a Great suggestion for Estee Lauder i am Loving Pleasure it's a soft and very fresh and airy scent beautiful packaging and a easy everyday pick up 💖 I just wish it was cheaper and more readily accessible to me and others as it was the only scent i ever purchased from this line and loved and I also only liked two fragrances from Elizabeth Arden and they were Beauty and Mediterranean all the others were to overpowering and smelled muskier on me and I am a gourmond and fruity floral and clean scent type of gal.
Estee Lauder Private Collection Tuberose Gardenia is one of the best gardenia's I have ever smelled. The sillage of this fragrance on a cold winter day is simply captivating. Love, Love
I really like their Modern Muse original EDP (in light pink bottle), its beautiful white floral scent with musky and woody undertones. It's my favourite office scent specially when I want to make an impression but also want to feel feminine. It last all day and dry down is beautiful. I wear it all year round, summer winter... it's very underrated I believe.
I recently revisited Beautiful, as I hadn't had a bottle for a long, long time and it was one of the first perfumes I ever bought; I wore it on my wedding day, as it was gorgeous. Unfortunately, whether it is due to reformulation or the changes in my body chemistry as I age, but it just wasn't the same. The carnation note is too strident for me. Such a shame. Love your reviews, Soki, always informative, and you have pointed me towards perfumes I may not otherwise have tried
I loved EL’s Modern Muse Rouge but they discontinued that one. My favorite Aerin fragrances are Lilac Path and Evening Rose. I have a sample of the Peony one and might be adding that one.
My favourite EL perfumes are White Linen and Alliage. I bought a bottle of White Linen about 6 months ago and have been wearing it regularly but one thing I've noticed is that it doesn't seem to last like it used to despite it being an Eau De Parfum. The other one I loved was Alliage which they discontinued some years ago but I see it's available now as Aliage Sport. However, it has mixed reviews so I'm undecided whether to buy it🤔
Modern muse really suits me and was a favourite of mine for a number of years but I personally don't shop with any Estee lauder anymore, thanks for your thoughts ❤
I liked the smell of Beautiful Belle and was totally anosmic to Modern Muse. It was so weird. Also, Aerin line is the most likeable for me while the luxury one was too floral for my liking, as far as I can remember. I haven't seen Bronze Goddess here in the Philippines yet.
I wore Beautiful in the 90s but smelled it recently and did not like it at all. However I found a bottle of Tuscany per Donna that my now husband gave to me when we were dating 25 years ago and it still smells good and I still love it, both shocking. I’m sampling other scents for fall and winter now but I never like them as much as this one. (Though it does not remind me of Tuscany at all!)
My Grandma's favorite perfume is Youth Dew. My whole family hates it because it is so strong but she ask's for it every couple of years. I think it smells good on her at the end of the day when its just slightly warm, spicy, and full of amber. Haha I haven't found an Estee Lauder perfume I like but haven't tried Bronze Goddess or Aerin collection.
A true classic I would have to say is aliage from estee Lauder there is another fragrance that mimics this very closely and for the for the crab sake I can't remember the name of the company it's a British line a fragrances and stuff I forget they're known for their plaid though anyway they brought out a perfume that smells almost identical to this
I just watched your older video on Estee Lauder yesterday! I've been in a vintage mood for White Linen and Youth Dew. Love your full range videos, informative as always!
Love Estée Lauder fragrances I use both beautiful and belle together. In winter I use the youth dew bath oil fills my whole house with the scent. I wear youth dew perfume in winter but I find it’s not that strong anymore. I wear beautiful magnolia over spring I always have to top up. Sensuous is another favourite I love Mediterranean honeysuckle aerin I have bronze goddess nuit These are some of my favourites.
Private Collection. In the depth of winter, I always return to this spicy floral beauty. It is mysterious, moody, glamorous and the sillagee is amazing for a dash of drama.
I was hoping to hear what you had to say about Pleasures Intense as I'm considering buying that one. I've heard many good things about it and just wanted to hear what you thought about it. I'm sure you have reviewed it in the past so I will keep looking through your videos.
😮ive always been amazed by Beautiful being packaged in such a blah, cheap looking bottle! Doesnt it seem like it should come in something more special??
I just bought a vintage bottle of Beautiful. A good friend of mine used to wear it as her signature scent and it really was so beautiful but one can’t be a copycat and wear a good friend’s signature scent! You don’t date a friend’s ex boyfriend and you don’t copy her perfume or clothes. It’s just not a good practice if you want to remain friends unless she truly doesn’t mind …except the boyfriend rule, right?? 😆😉 I love the lasting power of the more vintage fragrances but I have modern perfumes in my collection as well. I wear what I love no matter the time of day/season/year if I’m in the mood to wear it and labels like “young” or “old lady” do not exist in my fragrance world. ❤ I love your channel and reviews Soki! ❤
Hey Soki! Always great content! I would love to share my love for EL fragrances! I collect them all due to how they've helped shape the fragrance industry! Beautiful and ALL ITS FLANKERS are living with honor in my collection! Knowing, Cinnabar, Youth Dew, Estée, Sensuous, Pleasures and the newer "luxury" Paradise Moon are all my faves! Strangely I'm not a fan of Bronze Goddess but I love to smell it on others! Thx for another great video! Oh my.... I forgot White Linen.... many years now have I loved her!
My mother's signature scent is Beautiful. I love perfume but for some reason I really have trouble with this one. My favorites are the tropical coconut type
