Tammie Kruse thank you ma’am for sharing this link. I am saving money to purchase this. Your experience and opinion truly matter to beginners such as myself. God bless.
I have to comment after you said table Mabel I nearly spit out my coffee , My Aunt Mabel was from Melbourne she was such a beautiful lady and she would say to us tables are for glasses not and never finished we giggled so hard cause we knew what she was thinking. Thank you so much for the lovely reminder of her.
I’m so glad I stumble to you Chanel , I’ve learn more with you and don’t feel overwhelmed. I see some of the others drown their canvas with a base and the top them with a ton of pain. In my head it didn’t made any sense and look so waist full. You do it with no base paint and get the same result…..God Bless…..❤
Tutie fruity swizzle sticks mardi-gras carnival stunner!!! Lol! I love it Gilly! What a bright, colorful, sun shiny way to start the new year! WooHoo!! 2020 is going to be a stunner of a year! Thank you! Hugs!! Jodie
Thank you for your attitude & information! I’ve just found you- because I’m restarting my journey I ordered the paints you use. I’m happy about trying these & will let you know- thanks again
Gilly, this is so vibrant. Wow it's gorgeous! You definitely have this down. I also wanted to take a minute to say how sorry i am about all the fires going on over there. I have been watching the news and it looks so bad.God bless all the firefighters. Wanting them all to be safe and thanking them for the tough job they have.
The colours are stunning- but I much prefer it with FAR LESS balloon swiping!? I feel like with SO MANY- they TOTALLY interfere with the magic of the paint!
Wow Gilly such a stunner!!! I've been watching you for some time now. I'm in love with your style and wonderful personality! You are indeed inspiring. The best of Health to you and all your love ones for upcoming new year and years to come. You have a very loving son who is watching over you. A touching story of him demonstrating his love for you! I will continue to tune in and watch all the stunning work that you do. Mary Lou from US (Illinois)
Taped your bottom? :) That made me laugh out loud. I have a very corny, childish sense of humor. I love to hear you talk. I love the bright colors as well.
I have a craft heat gun with high and low. You need to be careful with them - the tip gets really hot so be careful where you set it down. Love this painting!
I got my heat gun from amazon great results. Using a balloon your so right depends on climate plus thickness of paints. I tend you makes paints a bit thicker usually I need to wait a good 45 mins before balloons. I have better luck with med sz ones not to much air if that helps
Thank you for showing how you make your super nice pouring art! what i do not understand so far is, why you mixe your pouring medium yourself? i watched out for mont marte clear glue. it costs nearly 100€ per liter, so when i mixe it 30% with water, its still a liter price of 70€. there are proofed ready to use mixed premium pouring medium for up to 30€ a liter available, so is it only the result what makes you mixing you own pouring or is it much cheaper in down under? regards from the center of europe.
This migth be a silly question, I may have missed it, but from what I could tell you only added silicone to the white. So I wonder how the yellow and all the others keep popping with cells still. Or did you add silicone to every colour?
Hi, gorgeous colours. Why is it even though you are from Uk you very rarely say we could get paint over here, yet you always mention America! I’m not trying to be horrible but I find it hurtful you forget about the land of your birth. Anyway, I love your paintings, you have shown me quite a lot of how to do my own paintings, all I need now is to find reasonable priced paint. All the best for 2020 xxx
Thank you for the lovely paintings you give to us.....you give us the courage to begin playing with colors ourselves. I’ve been collecting the things I will need and hope to start pouring on the 6th. I can hear you say..don’t worry about any of it, just enjoy yourself . So, thank you! I’ve been waiting to play with colors for 50 years. ❤️
I'm about 1yr behind with this one, but thank goodness that yr is over! Praying this one is better for all! But I am extremely thankful for your videos, especially now! Not just because of virus, but we've been in the grip of some pretty harsh winter storms here in Northern California! So even more reason to stay inside and watch "Gilly Kube!"
Here’s what practice does for you. My daughter, Laura, had only a small part of side vision in one eye and no vision in the other. Smoke detector went off, Laura came up from the cellar, opened the door to a wall of smoke in the kitchen. She said she had a moment of “chicken with head cut off”, but the quickly found the extinguisher (forgot momentarily that she had to pull the pin, but took a beat to think). Then she found the actual fire on the stove too (within the smoke and without vision), put the fire out. All this before anyone else in the house reached the first floor from the top level. I can tell you that smoke filled the house very very very quickly. All this from the talk over the years about safety issues and also keeping an extinguisher in every floor as well as high fire areas like the kitchen and laundry. We practiced when she was young and had vision, but we never thought to practice as she was losing it.
What is the silicone drops called in the US? My 17yr old daughter has been watching your videos and has been asking to try this technique and I now see why! It's gorgeous! So I told her she can definitely give this a go. I just need to find the right supplies for her out here in the US. Any suggestions to anyone reading this would be appreciated. Thank you!
Are you guys okay..? Are you keeping safe? I may have you in the wrong region but I was thinking you were in Australia... If not please still stay safe.. 😄🙏
Am I correct in that she is saying she mixes the glue 70/30 with water and then uses that mixture with her paint as a 50/50 solution , then adds 2 drops of Silicon to what amount. IS she mixing the paints in about 4 ounces for each color? That 4 ounces gets 2 drops of silicon?
Gilly - Just a thought on John's cells - Is he using water in any of his paints or mixed medium? He could have hard water with lots of natural chemicals. In Florida, I have to use distilled water.
May I ask a beginners question? Where do you store the paints after you mix them but are waiting the 24hrs.... We have a spare refrigerator and I am wondering if that is where I need to put my paints that I am preparing o use the following day.
Hello can you please tell me where I can buy in Australia Post acrylic paints that you talked about the other day I tried to buy some but they were coming from Amazon internationally and a lot more expensive so if you could help me I would really appreciate it thank you love your work

Beautiful as always! I hadn't seen this one and it's interesting to see the heat gun as new and hear you endorse it so enthusiastically. I hope the candlelight dinner went well. xoxo
What a crack up you are, telling us to watch the cells form while you cleaned up the paint on the floor. It made me laugh. A great piece, Gilly. Love from a fellow Aussie, Gina Mac of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. 😊❤️🙏🇦🇺🐨🎨
I've just started watching your awesome videos. I had to laugh a bit, though, when I saw "Welcome 2020" and then noticed the date. Anyway, i find your work quite ... "juicy." Makes me happy. Inspires me.
Gilly you've done it again, pretty pretty pretty...thank you. Mind you, you could just stand on your verandah and keep your camera running and I would be a happy camper!! What an amazing place you live in, I do love those lovely intro clips, being in dry and dusty old country WA they are really appreciated. I thought of an idea the other day that I had to share with you and your viewers...if anyone has any old X-ray films kicking around home I think they would make awesome swipe sheets..what do YOU think Gilly? Note to Tammy Kruse..bit expensive to buy on Amazon US here in Oz (not even sure they ship here any more) but I do believe Amazon.com.au might be similar. You guys n the States are so spoilt for choice.. Happy painting everyone and Gilly, you deserve every compliment you get!! and a belated HNY to you and your hubby.
Just beautimous Gilly! Love it! Tammie Kruse was a comment ahead of me! Ha! I found these little heat tools on Amazon also. $11.99 to $13.99. Her link is perfect! I do have a Wagner Heat Gun. Wondering if it will do the same? I will try it and if it doesn't have the same awesome results of this little gadget you've introduced, I will return mine to Home Depot and get this one. I love what it does to the paints. It's $15 less than the one I purchased. Always like to save some money so I can buy more paint! Ha! My son bought me a set of Mont Marte paints for Christmas! 😊 So, I will be trying them too. Well, have a lovely evening with your hubby! 😉😉😉 Love to you Gilly! 😘🥰🐇💗
Great teaching video for 2020. I checked Amazon and they have quite a few different heat guns like yours. Can you look and see what wattage yours is? Love to try this out. Thanks Gilly ❤️❤️❤️
STUNNING :D I love the bright beautiful colours in this !!! WTG Gilly .... the heat gun that you are using is available on Amazon to Canadians (maybe a different company name) but just to throw that out there LOL Hope all is good in your area, I see so many wildfires around Australia .. Praying for rain to come to y'all downunder ... much luv
Just thought I would mention that You can buy a smaller torch, if your worried about a fire hazard. They are sold in tobacco stores and Novelty Strores (head shops) In the US. More like a cigarette lighter, Smaller flame, and it will work on your pours, but takes more time.
Gilly you have turned off comments please turn them back on and talk....Is it possible you show us the commission pours .Had quick glimpse it was stunning
Hi from California! I just want to say how much I enjoy your videos. I just discovered pouring! The first video I saw of yours I cried it was so beautiful. I love the way you use color. I thought there might be an artist in me somewhere. So I’m going to try it and I’m gathering supplies now. 💐
And, I’m so sorry beautiful Australia is burning, so sad. They still had the beautiful fireworks show in Sydney, but I think to cheer people like they do every year. Just praying for folks and wildlife, that everyone stays safe
Nice To hear an Australian voice behind his pours this is something I want to get into I’m up till two in the morning watching all the different RU-vid contributions and Gilly U sounds like a real character typical Australian and I love you tutti-frutti Creation Carnival pour I’m a W A girl thank you lady mate
This was fun, you did more with the balloon after and I liked it much better. A favor: I would love to see the finished (sealed) painting. Could you show some finalized paintings before or after the current work just so we can see the difference in color with sealer. Thanks so much for doing this and sharing.
It's a beauty or should I say Stunner. I love that little heat gun, good idea. Thanks for the pours and the time you spend helping us. I do worry about you with those fires. The news makes it look like your whole country is covered with them. Be careful!!
