It was some car back in the day .. I had one in early 90's looking forward to the progress videos.

You are kinda right in regards to the side repeaters missing but you will find they are most likely Renault super 5 wings that never had them to begin with! As far as the color goes I’d paint it back in the stock color it came with 👍🏽

Don't drill out the indicators on the wings as it looks better without, and most mot guys are normally happy with the fronts as they wrap around.

Well that's a good start! Have you seen Bad Obsession Mini restore / upgrade? Will you turn into a double act like them?

Hard to tell on the video but overall a good solid car to start with. Could be worse, mine was Ali G to the max and bright green. I had the same issue with my dials. Lockwood yellowed.
