I just looked at my facial cleanser, which is from Beauty Trends and it has both Myristic Acid and Potassium Hydroxide, and both of them are above the ingredients list. While it doesn't result in me having breakouts, I still intend to buy another facial wash or cleanser. Since I did noticed that after I washed my face, it would get that dry or "clean" feeling, but after a while, it would get oily again, as if my skin is trying to compensate for the oils that were stripped away. I always look at the ingredients and just thought that Myristic Acid would be good for me since it can help with my oiliness and the Potassium Hydroxide looked like it would be hydrating. So I am glad and very thankful to know what to look out for when it comes the ingredients. :)

Yung Ponds!! Kaya pala okay lang siya sa simula pero nung matagal ko nang gamit napaka drying sa skin shuta. Both have Myristic acid & potassium hydroxide ponds.

Omgggg mabuti napanuod ko to, ung current cleanser na tinatry ko which is garnier anti acne scrub has both myristic and potassium hydroxide kaya pala so drying and the result is irritated skin, oily and acne.

hi! great video po, however, i would like to ask lang din, if 2x po ang reco for cleansing face (morning and night) paano naman po kung nag-wwork-out sa hapon, is it okay to cleanse after work-out making it 3x a day na? thanks po, would help a lot.
@Brix Miguel for my experience, I've used it for day and night the Mentholatom one. Na use ko siya kasi na ubusan ako ng cleanser then watson lang yung malapitan bhie na nag bibinta ng skincare. And I didn't put any moisturizer and sunscreen lang since I have oily skin. And my SPF is already moisturizing enough for day use. But on night time I seem to forget sometime to put moisturizer and if I do not feel lazy i put moisturizer after. Pero if tamarin ako cleansing nalang so I only wash it off with cleanser then done. It does contain SA as well i think in a small percentage which is mild and have soothing and calming inci like centella and vitamin e. It does seems a bit flaky from a week usage but so on there's no problems naman. Patch test first always. Then if pwede do apply moisturizer and spf as possible since preventive measure naman yun kung sakali may impact ang product if nabilad ka sa araw but it depends parin in your preferences. And as for klued I used it as well kasi parang hype niya then based on my exp then it kind of strip to my skin after wash not that pag katapos ha pag hilamos na basa pa ang mukha kasi di ko panaman siya na fefeel na drying sa skin after na a few days of using it. so needed talaga kag moisturizer sa klued and kailangan introduce slowly new products wag i overwhelmed ang skin baka masira ang skin barrier. So if bago pa do use it for twice or thrice a week or kung di kaya 1 a week lang always listen to your skin. Smart yan marunong din yan makiramdam na nasasaktan na siya pag na torture char. Hahahaha. Pero honest talaga kasi mataas percentage ng klued 2% so please be wary on using it. And do apply moisturizer and sunscreen everyday if first time gugamit since sabi ko nga baka drying sa skin. If amats na gumamit ayy sige na kahit araw arawin pa yan. Basta don't forget to moisturize and protect as always for protection din sa balat. 🙂

Hi, Jan. I started using the Acnes Creamy Wash since I watched this video last week. Though I am kind of curious. Is it normal for a face to grow some pimples because of using a new facial wash? Because I am experiencing it right now. Hahaha. Asked some friends about it, and they call it "purging".
Kuya I'm here in KSA my face gets really red specially pag summer time dito. Acne prone din ang face ko. Gumagamit ako ng salicilic acid cream pero ang problem is pag hinde mu nalagyan bumabalik agad ang acne.
Not Jan Angelo here (hehe), but any basic routine will do: gentle cleanser, moisturizer with ceramides/fatty acids or niacinamide. And water resistant sunscreen na spf50 or above. Reapply lang din po lalo na when outside. I think Momma Jan has some good sunscreen recommendations as well.. 💞
..and of course other sun protective behaviors: wearing UV clothing, hats/caps, sunglasses, seeking shade every now and then, etc.. I walk daily din (or minsan treadmill) and so far, these help naman po.. 😊❤️

sa Cetaphil nabawasan acne ko pati sa forehead ko baka rin kasi sa shampoo (selsun blue) kasi may dundruff ako pero nong nag COSRX ako parang mas dumadami kase sobrang oily skin ako nong binili ko ung cosrx tas naging sobra ung pag dry ng skin ko pero bumalik ako sa cetaphil ulit ung foaming cleanser naman, nababawasan ulet acne ko.. And di ako nag nagc cleanser pag umaga tubig lng pinanghihilamos ko sa tanghali tas before bed lang ako nag c cleanser. Any tips plss para malessen ung acne sa bandang jawline. (Cetaphil and Dermaction Sunscreen lng gamit ko)
Im using cosrx salicylic acid mag 1month na and napapansin ko habang tumatagal it feels dry na sa face ko and ngayon kolang nalaman na yung two ingredients pala na yun yung reason so yea its time to change thankyouu so much new subscriber here.
