If cost isn't a factor which of below clippers for self cuts (fades and tapers) with very fine hair (white 29 male w brown/dirty blonde hair): - Wahl 5star MAGIC - Wahl 5star SENIOR - JRL FF 2020C - Or something else entirely

Bro Give gamma dubs guards a try. You're gonna love it like I did. It's got more teeth and it's going to help you take more hair especially on the kids which have softer skin.

Just remove/cut the outer part of the cam follower and put the ceramic blade on it. Or you can go to 3versince and buy the ceramic blade and cam follower that go on the ergo/babyliss

Would this be an improvement over my magic clips? The Seem fire ‼️. I am a part timer / hobby barber, so aint no professional. I broke my magic clips case, so rather than buying a new case i could afford this, its on a 30% discount atm 🤟🏽

...just fyi, ive heard several people say that the cutting blade on the jrl 2020c is painted silver but its actually ceramic (?) ...thats what ive heard from multiple sources... mine are ordered, so lookin forward to takin em for a test drive... & theyre showing a charging stand on their website thats supposed to fit both the clippers & the trimmers... thanx dude

Get you a dremel or a razor blade. And you remove those two bottom circles on the cam follower and you can put damn near any blade on them

I own one dope clipper. I actually just ordered the gamma fusion blade to put on it. The craziest thing about this clipper is the run time 4 hours. I can use this clipper pretty much all day. Without charging it much. Dont like the stock blades it comes with i prefer the gamma fade blade on it

Will you be getting more clippers? Gamma, Caliber, wahl, oster all came out and coming out with new clippers. I'm curious about the wahl cordless legend and the oster fast feeds. Oster was my first clipper. Butter blends!

I have 3 of these now. Only clipper i use for fading and bulk now. I just put a fade blade on one of them so it cuts closer to the skin if im doing high and tights etc. Honestly i dont use the notches even with the extended range on it with a light hand you can just go open halfway closed and it will take out the skin to half easy. Hell i dont even use a half or 1.5 with this clipper. If you are used to the masters you can use it the same way. I highly reccommend the gamma double magnetic guards for the clipper though. Its almost as if it was made for this clipper.

Hi Mike, is the JRL lever half way open the same as a wahl clipper fully open?

@@Mike-hy8cs because when you look at The JRL fully open and fully open on other clippers it doesn’t look a huge difference, I thought maybe one click off fully open on the JRL was the same as fully open on others? Just trying to figure out how to use these with my particular fading system
