@@DF-sq9tn But what do you expect, I mean seriously? I am just so happy to see a natural girl, that is articulate and not completely cringworthy. This gives me hope.
@@PaladinJenkis i agree in toto. Anyway there are people in fragcomm that sound like they actually open a book from time to time - wafts from the loft, persolaise, my world of fragrance, fragranceview, a nose knows...
@@PaladinJenkisWhat a creepy way to tell someone you find them attractive. People of substance aren't going to be flattered by you insinuating anything about their intelligence, or their peer's lack thereof, based on a stack of books. It's transparent and the pinnacle of cringe. Also, "books" shouldn't be capitalized.
Hi , Great pick, just came across your channel, Thumbs up, my new fall scent is Oriental dream by Reminiscence. Have an amazing day/ week. Cheers from SWEDEN P.s Subbed2 👍
I found you because I tried Indigo Smoke today and immediately needed to hear someone talk about it. It's GORGEOUS! I'll have to try your other favorites.
Bonjour à tous! My SOTD will be by Untamed: " Mevlana." It is to me like a pastry made of 🍠 yams and cinnamon with a choco café nuance. To my normal consumer 👃 at least, never smelled anything similar. Sprayed my pillow case last night and it remains by morning, albeit less top notes. Thank you, Ashley.
Thanks for the nice recommendations, Ashley. By chance, I heavily applied TF Noir Extreme (not the Parfum version) before driving to dinner tonight. As usual, it rapidly dissipated. Drydown as a skin scent a few hours later still smelled nice, but it is overall quite weak in performance. Hopefully the Parfum version adds some intensity over the original.
Hello, Ashley. Thank you for your beautiful enthusiasm and work. I wish you happiness in you're new chapter in life. And I'm interested, what is some of your favorite authors and books.
Purchased Indigo on the strength of your review. It's smoky and fruity at opening, light handed though, but the drydown outshines many fragrances that I own and have enjoyed throughout time. That wispy smoke opening is tinged with a fruity suede that becomes a powdery, salty butterscotch that never overpowers. The smoke is not that prominent as it fades. I get a green and creamy yet powerful fade however that intensifies over time. Very unique. I'm reminded of Serge Lutens Jeux de Peau and Costume National Homme Parfum with its slightly sour, yet biscuit aromatic notes. Like Bottega Veneta Homme with its coniferous notes, but slightly less so, yet dewy. IMHO. Highly addictive, unobtrusive in its scent profile yet comforting and distinct. Arquiste has done outstanding work here. A huge love and a big yes!
I totally love the new TF Noir Extreme Parfum. I ordered it the first day it was available and just thought it was going to be good. I had and like the original but had issues with performance and wasn't as impressed as much by the scent as everyone else. The parfum blew me away at first smell. Not only is it a huge improvement over the original, it is one of the best things ever made and one of the best of this year. I sold the original TF as I would never wear it again. Since I did not respond to your vanilla video, this will be an explanation as to why the TF is not the best of 2022. There is another. I was obsessed with it for most of the year and finally was able to purchase it last month. YSL BABY CAT!!!! It is a darker vanilla and amazing. It is my best of the year while competing against TF Parfum and Xerjoff Monkey which are super amazing as well. All 3 are top 10 for me in my collection. You must try Baby Cat if you can find it. Middle East Exclusive and available in UK. Not sure about France. It will change your life!!
That TF Extreme Parfum is excellent. Only sampled it once, but to my nose: An incredible opening that dries down to a less sweet version of the original, with perhaps less vanilla and more cedar & Guaiac wood in the base.
I will try to check these out! I am really curious to try the Indigo Smoke! And I will try the TF parfum at a counter. I was nearly out of my Le Lion from last Fall/Winter so I recently bought a giant bottle, and I figure it will be one of my signatures this Fall. I also love skanky oud so I will wear Malesia until my bottle runs out (I also wore that last Fall/ Winter a lot). I also recently purchased Mukhallat Shems by Armaf I think which is very skanky/ incensy and I was complimented by my voice teacher who always freaks out over my perfume 🤣. I see her about 1ce a month lol. I love your videos and that you are in Paris. I lived there for three years during my Art School years during which I studied painting and drawing. I really would LOVE living there again. Do you need any beautiful paintings of perfume bottles out anything like that? I am your lady.
I love fall and typically switch up my perfumes but now that I live in Austin summer continues as today it was 95. I think the Tom Ford fragrance sounds great .
Thank you for creating this video !! I also like transition from Summer to winter (fall) . I would like to try your recommandation because it sounds these smell cozy and Unisex. I would also sell extreme noir and know the différence between the original. I am looking forward to watching your new video, too !!
Ashley great list. I love Noir Extreme Parfum by Tom Ford. I own the original and I love it. I will probably add the parfum to my collection. I want to try Legacy of Petra by Penhaligon's. It sound interesting and my type of fragrance. Natalie Gracia-Cetto is the perfumer and I love her fragrances especially Le Male Le Parfum by Jean Paul Gaultier. I love Penhaligon's fragrances especially Halfeti & Sartorial. If I like Legacy of Petra, I may buy it.
