I bought four of these fans to combat the issues I was having with my amps going into thermal protect in my trunk build and they are the absolute best! I have mines connected to two switches in my center console and I don't even hear them when I'm playing at low volume.
@@808patanderson I agree. I have mines in a similar configuration except mines are laying horizontal and flank each end for a push/pull air flow. Those Fannies look awesome but they seem bulky in addition to being expensive.
Hey bro I have been wondering about this how hot is to hot for the amp and when should I back off and let it cool down I'm probably going to remove the back seat and place the SCIB and amp etc in the back seat area so I can keep an eye on everything and cool the cabin with AC until I can get a fan also I noticed in the title of your video that it says 12-14 volts I hadn't even thought about it until now but am I going to need an inverter or something to get down to 14v for the fans I'm thinking about getting a step down module for the car itself and separating the car and system electrically don't know what would be cheaper or easier and what about the cigarette lighter plug running closer to 16 volts will it mess up the phone charger or something else
They run at 16v just fine. Not sure how hot is too hot. I try to stay below 120. I run my entire car up to 16v. I have popped a cigarette lighter though. USB converter seems to be fine though. Newer vehicles maybe different though. I’d suggest getting on Facebook pages and asking people with similar makes and models and year. “I just wanna bang” is a decent group. Or diy lithium pages
