Put this together as quickly as I could! Hope these ideas are helpful to you in deciding how to spend your time farming. :)
I just realized I included screenshots of Goten which comes from Crystalline Conflict which is not something you can do to farm the Moogle event. I'm sorry if that was misleading... I was rushing to get this out QQ

For people that have cleared enough POTD to start at floor 51 instead of floor 1, is not a bad grind to run from 51-100.

personaly i make 51-100 in solo paladin with one wipe on the 90 boss its not so hard when you already have +99 stuff and some little knowlege

I got the "Reach floor 100" one too. Definitely won't be doing it either. Already farmed 60 tombs from my weekly (Hell's Kier), Castrum via roulette and then Good Saucer for all the rest. There were so many people at the Gold Saucer all day, so the ambiance is fun. Your tip for PvP is great for most people (and is often overlooked)

For all of you who don't have everything unlocked, Praetorium is still a really good method for farming the moogle tomestones. Gold saucer can be nice too although Leap of Faith is a bit annoying with so many people atm. I got really lucky with POTD. I haven't done it in a while but for some odd reason I had left it at lv. 91 so it was a super quick run for me.

The PotD mount drops from sacks on F151-199. There is no point in doing sacks at under F100 except for achievements

I have the same Weeklies as you (except my Deltascape is V4.0) and I was level 64 at the start (and not even past the level 61 quests in Stormblood). The FATES, I have no real chance of getting to Deltascape? If I go crazy with playtime

Rival Wings is so good for farming tomes and pvp rewards! I love it. GATEs are a good tip considering we're also in the MGP event! I never thought of that so I'll be doing that as well!

just checked the mogpedium on my toon that hasnt finished stormblood and my weekly is doing level 70 raids so sucks to suck i guess lol

Mines the same, I need to finish the Omega raids. Im at Alphascape V3 so only 2 left. I did solo all the previous ones with my warrior. They aren't that difficult unsynched. For some reason I just never did the raids during the expansion. All other expansions are done though including Endwalker.

Just want to clarify something here, the Palace of the Dead (PotD) isn't that bad, you can start from Floor 50 solo or queue group or with friends which is the fastest way! The only difference is with solo is that it's slower and you can't go past 100, but that's fine since floor 100 is the one you want to clear. Honestly recommend doing it with queue group/friends since it will be much faster, definitely shouldn't take more than an hour. Will add.. if you haven't unlocked PotD you will need to start from floor 1.. but honestly it's really not that bad when running with friends or a random queue group. Edit: Just to make sure it's clear what I was saying, I admit my poor grammar in some parts didn't help. If you start at floor 50 Solo, you can't go past 100, you need to start at floor 1. If you start at floor 1 or 50 in a queued party you can't go past 100. If you start with a premade Party at floor 50 you can go past 100, but if your group wipes, you can only go to 100 or can no longer continue the run if you wiped on 101+

That's not true. You can go past 100 solo. I've gotten to 150 solo. There's even an achievement for starting from 1, and getting all the way to 200 (which is what I was trying for). The only restriction is that the run over if you get KOed (without the reraise active).

Yeah, I was gonna mention the Necromancer title, haha. Also, yeah it's doable, but imo there are better ways of getting 50 tombstones.... Especially if you wipe in PoTD and have to restart.

Got the First Castrum as weekly with lvl 90 and cleared the MSQ, so i guess its totally random what you get. EDIT: The Mount in PoTD can only be Found from the Chest in Floors 150 or higher.

free trail who hasnt finish HW here. My weekly is some sort of ?? that says i need to do the quest "the croak queen" for which is apparently a lvl 70 so stormblood content. The minimog is 5 fates in places i havent heard of and the triple triad you have.

Guys seriously just do your GATEs, I know aitherea said 5 mins but most of the time they don't even take that long. Cliffhanger you can finish EASILY and consistently in 30 seconds for 3 tomes. Air force one is super easy to get perfect on as well and prob only takes around 2 mins for 4. Any way the wind blows is kinda rng but that one's short as well, and if you get bad rng you still get 1 for essentially doing nothing. The slice is right is kinda similar, I've consistently gotten 3-4 tomes each time but they're much shorter than 5 mins as well. I think the worst one though is leap of faith, but that's only if you're bad at jump puzzles. I can clear a map in 2-3 mins consistently for 4 tomes, but if you're bad at jump puzzles you might not even clear it, getting 1 tome after 10 mins. All of these are faster and require less effort than other farming methods out right now, but you can only do 3 of them every hour

If you haven't finished collecting BLU spells, it's also a good opportunity to do gates and collect BLU spells in-between.

I've gone for the Necromancer title a few times (unsuccessfully...) so getting to floor 100 should be pretty easy for me. The option to start from floor 50 once you've unlocked it should make things pretty quick.

Yup, same here. I've probably had about 100+ attempts at Necromancer, (personal best was floor 198 solo) so getting to 100 will be a Sunday afternoon solo adventure lol

As a old player I highly recommend doing POTD 1-100 at least once as it opens up a good area for beginner players where you can play together with sprout friends that's a decent EXP area too under 60. Additionally you can unlock some really nice glams, minions, mounts. The padjal and kinna weapons are very unique to the game. Floors 1 to 100 is very forgiving in terms of difficulty.

My highest level job is 62 and my weekly objective is a ???? lvl 70 trial. My weekly FATEs are in a lvl 80 area I can't reach yet. Sooo yeah can confirm they did not change that.

My friends are on free trial and their weekly/minimog objectives are to clear FATES in Endwalker area and PVP so the problem clearly hasn't been fixed 😥

I'll do some gates, but I despise Leap of Faith so.. skipping that one. Otherwise might do some of the Omega raids, just whatever pops. and then once Make it Rain is over, I got no shame in doing Prae over and over between fishing routes.

I’ve been trying to play rival wings for a while now but every time I try and queue it says the estimate is 30 min 🙃 hopefully with the event more people will queue for it or maybe I’ll just have to try a different dc lol

Try Primal! Primal is the "pvp" DC so if it's popping anywhere, it would be there. If you're in EU, then it's Light.

Castrum is sadly not that great even with BLU. BLU is good, but the reason it was chosen a couple events ago was that it was like a 6 minute run at best for 8 tomes, which was highly competitive with whatever P1N offered at the time. With the reward being reduced to 4 tomes per run, other options become more viable. O1N is a pretty easy 3 minute run for 2 tomes even with a highly mixed party of 7 DPS and a tank, and I've heard O3N is probably the best BLU farm duty this time around but have not tried personally.

Pretty much all the mogstone rewards are things you can get from other sources, like ex trials etc. Mogstones are just easier to get

To be fair, Praetorium giving 7 these days its a good reward... 20~30 minutes it's very worth it, before the "rework" on that dungeon, it took about 45~60 minutes for 7 if i remember correctly (or it was 10?)

this time around, everything except the carbuncle earring is something you could farm in game, it's moreso a matter of which items are more annoying or time consuming to farm. So, if you dont want to buy stuff off the marketboard and you dont wanna spend time farming things the old fashioned way, moogle treasure trove at least offers more variety since you can choose how you like to farm. So I cant really give a straight answer, it really depends on you. I have another video talking about where each item comes from and which i think might be worth the time to farm and why. i think it should be linked at the bottom of this video's description :)

This game really hates me. Last hunt's Ultimog was Ocean Fishing and I had not unlocked Fisher, and this one is a Deep Dungeon which I have since disowned since I had bad trauma with Heaven-On-High. X(

I definitely found the GATES at the Gold Saucer were giving a consistent amount of them depending on how good at the GATES you are.

this new system sucks for new players, i can't even get these for new player to get tombs have to do the nromal way still in ARR trying to get to HW but i see they were not thinking about the new players

Most of the things on the list are able to be done by new players as well as veterans. A choice few extremes or dungeons may be from later expansions, but the vast majority are either ARR or HW level accessible. Even the ultimog challenge is the first deep dungeon, which is available starting at level 17 as long as you've completed an early-level main scenario quest. If you're working towards HW, then you should be well beyond qualified to unlock it.

Bare minimum, hang out in the Gold Saucer and do the Gates every 20 minutes and you will double dip for tomestones and the extra MGP from the Make it Rain event that started today.

Saying Palace of the Dead isn't worth it, but GATEs are, is a wild thing to say to me. You can only do GATEs every 20 minutes, so PotD is way more efficient, buuuut its not even an either/or thing. You can complete a set of ten floors between GATEs. I also think it's crazy that anyone would prefer Frontlines over PotD

Worst farming method is Palace of the death. 100 floors for just 50 mooglestones. Excuse me while I go and punch a moogle.

No, it's not do 100 floors. it's complete Floor 100 itself. You can either solo from 50 to 100 or queue for a group or run with friends. which is the fastest way. It's honestly not bad.

Ngl, dont do PvP for the tomes, do one of the raids in a pf instead. In fact, you're better off running aetherochemical research facility over and over, or just skipling the cutscenes in castrum if you can get a party to put in the minimal effort to do that

My video is all about providing options for people. Sometimes, farming in the most time efficient manner is really soul sucking because frankly, it's boring, and doing those raids means the *only* thing you're getting is moogle tomestones. PvP on the other hand offers a large variety of rewards. When it comes to farming moogle tomestones the quickest, sure, there are better options, but not everyone wants to do that. Some people might want to have fun while forming or they might want to pursue other rewards alongside the moogle tomestones. At the end of the day, farming pvp for moogle tomestones is totally viable -- what someone chooses to farm is all dependent on their personal goals :)

About your question if lower level players are being regarded: Still not the case. I have 6 characters, 2 have everything fully unlocked, the other 4 do not, and 3 out of those 4 would have a weekly challenge this week I currently cannot do. So it‘s still the same. 🥲
