Thanks for the video reminder of some shortcuts I've forgotten or missed. As a seasoned editor, I've used many shortcuts-my first instructor in FCP hardly ever used the mouse.

Great video Jenny , Thanks. What I use a really lot is the bracket key to cut of the end or beginning of the clip. What I find very handy is to change the short cuts in the command menu and for those I use really a lot I have made short cuts with only 1 key. Much easier to remember and easier to use. For example "B' make a cut in the clip instead of getting the blade Y is making a cut in the clip and all the clips underneath it [ and] for cutting off clips. shift W for making a default black clip. Etc. What I find also very handy is if you hold for example the P key while making adjustments and then let it go, it goes back to your normal select key. Since you are so much deeper into FCPX it feels a bit odd to give you tips, but maybe it might help your viewers.
