Is the barrel the one that is 363mm length. I’m a beginner who just bought my first rifle witch was a G&G cm16 raider Is the barrel you and him recommend the right barrel I should purchase?
@@OxiClean9724 Easy method here is to remove your inner barrel and measure it. Then you will know what length you need to replace it with. Watch a guide on how to remove your inner barrel, it's easy but you can damage your hop-up if done incorrectly. Don't be put off it's a simple job and you do be doing it after games to clean the inner barrel.
You're right in the mentality of upgrading when it breaks, you should always look up what the gun you're gonna buy has as weak points (example: ares airseals), I would also suggest when upgrading use parts from one company... As an example if you're gonna use shs gears and intend on changing up everything else, use shs parts, that way everything marries up properly and the wear on the parts is equal. This way you don't have to change parts gradually because they are wearing out at different speeds due to different quality of metals or quality as a whole. Just my opinion though... Also I mapple leaf buckings are the greatest imo. Great video.
I have a 4m Lone Stare full metal and i have played with it for 2 year going and no problems. All is still standard. My first upgrade would be as you said, barrel, hop up and then the rest if nothing breaks before the upgrade. Thanks for the video.
My advise, TNT barrel and TNT TR-bucking. Will hop almost every BB weight and the barrel is nice, smooth thick steel with a barrel stabilisation expansion at the barrel end (comparible to the crazyjet barrels). Also check if there is (enough) compression in the cylinder set-up. If not regrease it, regreasing is a good overall habit to do
By accuracy he means precision and to sort that out don't buy an inner barrel just yet as a barrel alone has little or no effect on precision unless your stock barrel is like 6.05 or over which is very unlikely, just do an S-hop mod, make your own flat hop bucking with your stock bucking or buy a normal one and mod it for less than half the price of a dedicated flat hop bucking and pair those with an omega nub or a flat hop nub (you can make flat hop nubs yourself out of erasers if you don't want to buy one) this is guaranteed to give you greater precision with your groupings and also gives you the ability to hop heavy weight bbs, you can do this on a stock hop up unit also you do not need the rotary type they are just useful for the clicks giving you an incremental adjustment and making it easier to adjust because of the large wheel as opposed to a small cog, that is literally it, if your stock hop unit is coming undone then all you need to do is tighten the screw that holds the adjustment gear/knob on. This mod is very very easy and super cheap, you could do it for around $10-$20, you don't need to spend a lot of money to get a noticeably better improvement. If this hasn't improved your precision then it's time to change your barrel for something that is around 6.03, barrel should be last on your list of improving accuracy. Don't just go buying a gate titan off the bat which is the most expensive out of gate's products, airsoft techs will hate you for doing so anyway, you will look at it wrong and it'll break, buy a warfet instead for half the price, does like 90% of the functions a shitan sorry titan does without the horrendous mess and unreliability of a gate titan (look at negative airsoft on YT if you don't believe me) I do however agree with upgrading the motor for a higher torque one, again you don't need to be spending a lot of money to get a decent spec motor, i recommend JG blue.
Dunno bro . I prefer the old lonex blue dial hop ups over just about anything . I've shot 10s of thousands of rds through mine and they all hold great . 100% agree with the bucking choice though.
I want a better trigger response and was thinking of getting a 11.1 Lipo instead of my 9.6 and then also getting a torque motor. By doing this I realize that I’m putting more stress on my aeg so is there anything else I should be looking into when I buy these upgrades? Do I need to get a new spring as well?
I use a Tippmann m4aeg and the Motor in it is acctually fairly good out of the box, the internals are all metal and it’s a great gun, im thinking of getting a new barrel because I’ve used mine for a couple months and feel I need a upgrade but overall it’s a great gun, tippmann makes great paintball and airsoft stuff
hey man, you should do a series about everything to do with upgrades and teching coarse, even if you put out a paid coarse I would love to see that from you
Super sweet videos your totally ab to blow up 🤙 not a lot of airsoft youtubers are doing any videos on editing, given your background it would be awesome to get some tips on what you do with your raw footage
Thanks so much bro!! I would start by renting personally, make sure this is a sport you want to invest in, then I would recommend getting a G&G combat machine, these guns are very low cost and have incredible performance. A lot of Airsofters will start out with these guns and slowly build them into absolute monsters 👍🏻
dude the quality of your videos are always dead on man keep up the great work. i wish you did a break down on people having trouble on getting the rail off once i got my tiny bolts off my dam rail just wouldn't come off for me to get my tip off my t6. i have the mod 1 loaded up but i don't wanna damage it any advice would be helpful
Thanks a ton bro!! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 to get the rail off there are actually 3 bolts to take off, two on one side and one on the other. Then ya just gotta yank it till it comes off 😂👍🏻
@@kraken_tactical I've been looking at the new G&G M14 Scout that has the electronic trigger but I tried going back to AEG after running HPA for so long and it's not the same there is absolutely no cycle time with HPA obviously and you can't beat the consistency
It would be sick if you made a video about that gun and every upgrade you’ve made to it so we can see. Anyways amazing video your quality is great. I subbed
If you don't mind me asking what battery do you run? 11.1 or 9.6, also what high torque motor did you end up upgrading to did? And did you happen to upgrade your spring at all? If so what did you upgrade to? I have a kwa km4 commando I bought a while back that still shoots like a dream I just want a little more fps out of it for big games and such. I'd like to shoot as close to 400fps with .25 as possible lol
Excited I’m gonna start my first job soon so I’ll be able to purchase upgrades and new guns, I’m going to purchase a P90 soon and hopefully upgrade it quite a bit
Just a heads up but the P90 is one of the harder guns to find aftermarket upgrades for and even harder for even some of the more experienced techs to get right. Get what you love and don’t let performance and upgrades determine it but it’s good to keep in mind
I just made a flat hop nub with a eraser and adjusted my macron yellow and hyper polished guns barrel and added a prowin next is a gate it’s a Firehawk already have a better barrel gonna get a new ris soon too and that’s just my back up lol
Kraken Airsoft yeah hook up a cleaning rod to a drill with a cotton attached and slowly buff it front to back then reverse slowly ramping up speed I personally use barrel cleaner then one with a slightly damp one (water) then I double down with a dry cotton I find that those round makeup cottons work well and cut them into strips.
I love it! Would recommend it to everyone, I personally use the softest grey one. Hops .28s and .32s like a dream. But that’s the heaviest I’ve ever gone with it 👍🏻
Make sure you learn the difference between a high speed motor , and a high torque one , high speed is faster but can pull less weight so use one if you have a lower fps spring . A high torque one is slower but can pull a heavier spring
Not true Iv seen high speed motors pull heavy springs like the A2 for example I’m actually waiting on my brushless motor to come in and see how that does high torque motor with lower weight spring can give you great trigger response and rps as well
Hey Sushi bro I really recommend a Helios Knight's Armament From Evike it’s 207 but I saw it on sell for 175 me and my friend run this gun and it’s just beautiful looking and shoots very well
@@ivannocap8416 yuh, i love mine, my only gripe with it is the gearbox is amoeba but otherwise range is great , the trigger pull is a little long but is snappy as hell
Do the lenght of the Barrel matter in terms of distance you want to hit? Of course, with real guns that's the case, but does a shorter barrel on an saeg truly shortens potential long range shots?
@@yaru3116 it should work in other aegs too. Before I had my Maxx Model hopup unit, I used the Krytac ones in different aegs and hpa guns without a problem. Would definitely look into the Maxx Model too if you are looking into a decent hopup unit (but it costs a little more than the Krytacs)
Is it bad that i took my 200$ valkan asl+ (idc hate it its goated from my experience) and threw in a prometheus 6.03 and krytac spec hop up and while it helped a good bit its not leagues better than the thing stock 💀
I wouldn't say that Prometheus is holy grail of barrels when EdGi and PDI exist, as well as lack of QC on Prommy barrels... Cheap, but good option is to get ZCI barrel and lap it.
Kraken Airsoft nice vid bro, I’m been thinking about this ALOT... the stock inner barrel is 184.15mm, isn’t 155mm significantly shorter? Wouldn’t a longer inner barrel provide better accuracy? Why did you go for the shorter one? I’m trying to decide if I should get the 155/ 185 thanks!
now I was told not to open the trigger box and gear box because it breaks the screw glue and "the vibrations from the gun can cause it to come loose" is this true and should I do the upgrades on my trigger box
Okay, I know what should get upgraded, now.. how tf the gun work and what makes up its internals, gotta learn how this shit works before ya start playing with it haha. Which actually worries me cause I dont wanna waste the money on a gun I take apart and cant figure out how to put it back together, or even worse, buying it and taking it apart and trying to learn what I'm looking at but still getting nowhere haha
I will say I added one to my girls ares amoeba DMR build it works better than the stock brass but I also hyper polished/buffed tf out of it.. hook up drill to cleaning rod add more cotton than normal and slowly speed up from one end to another crazy difference
Hey pal! Just done the Titan upgrade on my Ronin T6! Having some issues with batteries getting hot... Don't suppose you could tell me your current draw stats from GHS? I'm pulling 60AMPS burst and the battery gets hot :S Thanks dude x
