Hi Sean! The question is, is it worth it to change my Samsung HW-A650 3.1 for this Edifier? I really love this brand.. but is it a good swap? Ty for the review btw.
I owned it for a week, then returned it and bought Edifier S360db. The sub on B700 was constantly disconnecting and I found the sound just dull and with poor quality. Edifier s360 blew away this soundbar in every aspect except connectivity (lack of HDMI Arc). However a great review you did, good job ! 👏
Sir. Is there anyway i can add edifier t5 subwoofer to this soundbar? I mean if i use aux cable from tv to this soundbar and then audio splitter cable through which i can use one side for this system and one side for edifier t5? your reply will be really appreciated.
Question, since it's almost identical to Samsung HW-Q800C, which one is better of the two? (Regardless of the price difference) :currently using JBL Bar 5.0 MultiBeam and looking to upgrade since it doesn't have a subwoofer
Hello there. Yea you’re right they are pretty identical. And I think the Samsung comes with more “features”, more streaming features I supposed. On a raw sound performance basis, I see several comments saying they are not loud enough and they don’t sound as good. I’ve personally not tried it, but I will pop by a Samsung store to see if I could test them out personally. I’ll keep you posted once I’ve done that. 😄 but as far as I’ve tested this compared to my old Sony HT-CT780, no competition there, the Edifier is so much more modern and sound way better. Not a fair comparison since the 780 is not a surround sound soundbar. For one, the bass on the Sony was so weak it doesn’t excite me. 😅
