You have been single handedly helping me build my roofing business in northern Minnesota, thank you my man. Keep up the great content, the future generations will warship you.
I think this is great. Perfect way to introduce one's company. And even if you don't get a direct response right away from these estimates, next time people see you (say you go back and knock on their doors) they already know about you and may have built a little rapport with them already... Thank you, Dmitry!
When I first started my company I had a thousand really nice door hangers made and I handed them out in my neighbourhood to homes that only needed new roofs of course. Out of the Thousand hangers I handed out I only received two calls and landed one small $2,200 job. After that I had a website built and started using Google AdWords and my phone started ringing immediately
you needed online presence and reviews and needed to reference it on the flyer. there were a couple dozen people who looked you up, but didn't call, because the flyer didn't have the meat of online presence behind it
@@cobaltgoldgoblin Possibly, but I to date have never had a respose from a door hangar and we have Online presence/website and a FB page for each region.
@@plumbinglife2677 I highered a local web marketing company in my city to manage it for me. I don't know much more than the basics what it comes to computers. They let me set my monthly budget and they changed a 20% management fee. My total cost was just under 900$ per month. It sounds like a lot of money but the got my phone ringing and I was able to land lots of jobs

I had minute man press do some business cards for me here in Dallas, Tx. Gave them half down, went over the proof. Did some changes, and no cards. Waited for months. Went to talk about it and they said I had not paid even after showing them a paid invoice receip..
We delivered 6,000 fliers in Corpus Christi in 2017 hurricane. We only got 2 calls out of it. Still recouped our money but it’s very low response rate.
I think we also failed to put a really good catchy message. At that time we didn’t understand too much about marketing. So I’m sure that was a factor for the low conversion rate
What’s your name? Are you in roofing-school.com? We have designs there. You also can contact minutemen press in osseo and they can design and ship for you.
Have been doing roof tune ups for 6 years!!! We both were killing it on Angie’s list and tune ups were popular tickets to sell at the time. I am pretty sure he stole it from me 😂😂😂
Roofing Insights I know Victor and he might have a thing or two to say about that. 😄 Wish I wasn’t in Michigan and so far, you are an inspiration and a wealth of knowledge! Love your passion for the industry! If you ever get out to Ann Arbor hit me up for lunch!👍
Hey I’m wondering how you deal with no soliciting neahborhoods. Seems like every nehborhood has it. And have you hand any bad reviews from leaving a flier?

I am a homeowner, not a contractor. I personally don't care for this kind of advertising.and will never hire anyone who does this. i live in a rural area and am constantly (daily) getting this trash in my mailbox. Throw away your own trash! Stay off of my property if you are not invited. When I need a contractor I will contact you for an estimate. Knocking on my door uninvited is rude, you have no idea what I am doing at that time of day, and you may not like what i am going to say to you when I open the door. No Trespassing means stay off of this property. The atmosphere today may get you shot if you do.
Wow, you would kill a guy for trying to earn a living. In many business you need to door knock or do flyers. So many of my clients don't even look at their roof and when they do look and see curled shingles many are happy we brought it to their attention. We are a respectable businesses offering a fair market value service in no way scamming our clients either. If you had a sign saying no trespassing in would respect that 100%. I'm going take a shot in the dark (pardon the pun) your a white trump supporter, gun wielding, anti masker and most likely a racist. Please let me know if I profiled you correctly. You have issues and I'd be much more worried about you then the guy knocking on the door.
Sounds like you have a visibly bad roof and are ignoring the sole reason that people are sending and knocking on your door. Most companies wont knock twice in a few days so it sounds like you're getting every company that sees your roof is about to go to shit
