Great video! I do Uber,Doordash and Grubhub. I liked Grubhub the best for a while but lately I’ve been liking Doordash. Uber seems to offer the most low paying deliveries. I’m next to Minneapolis in the suburbs.
It took 2 days for doordash start me driving.Uber eats 2 weeks . Ubereats so far ive been getting super low orders like 5.00 for 25 miles. Doordash been decent.
If a driver rejects an order during their shift, and the order comes back a few times to the driver, during that shift...is the driver penalized repeatedly for declining the same order during that shift? Their rate should only be charged once during a shift.
I have a question. As far as grubhub and DoorDash go … do I need to hold a drivers license? I don’t. I also live in the Washington, DC area of Virginia. So, I have access to public transportation. What do you recommend? I’m Andrew.
I just signed up with DoorDash. The app has been glitching when I try to take a photo of the food drop off. I end up having to choose “handed to customer” which is NOT good! I’m not sure what to do about it. Any suggestions? Thanks!
I deleted Grubhub the night I realized having the same order delivered was double the price compared to picking it up myself! Unacceptable! will never use Grubhub again!
yeah and i'm sure the delivery driver only gets a small % of that difference, and the company pockets the rest. As an Uber Eats driver i was occasionally rewarded by Uber with like a "75% discount on your next Uber Eats order!" once in a while so i decided to try it out. Turns out the 75% discount only applies to the fee of the actual order to the restaurant, but you still need to pay the service charge to Uber, plus the delivery charge (isn't that the same thing?!), and don't forget to tip the driver. So all in all that huge 75% discount saved me a grand total of about $2. That's how these companies operate. Corporate greed.
@@stanleyz6330 When I delivered for Uber? 95% of the time? I received no tip. Back then? Uber actually encouraged customers not to tip and many were happy not to. Some assumed Uber cut the drivers in for a higher % of the service charge than they actually do. As a result? I put a lot of wear and tear on my car for nothing. These days? I order only from restaurants that employ their own drivers or pick it up myself.
