Meat Carlos looks amazing! The restaurant scene in Colombo has improved by leaps and bounds in the last 3 to 5 years alone. Dharshan Munidasa (MoC) deserves a lot of credit for inspiring these other restauranteurs. It’s really too bad the Easter attacks and the pandemic have impacted the progress of restaurant ecosystem.

Another amazing video guys. The Chinese restaurant, named after the famous Chinese beer Tsingtao. One of my favourite beer in Toronto. The pork chop you had is amazing. I normally order the garlic breaded deep fried chops. Love it. The final bbq place and the beef rips....OMG. that's a monster rips. You make me go through my fridge 2 in the morning to get rid of my cravings....lol Thank you soo much for showing us the real pearl of the Indian Ocean 🙏
Only a very few nations in the globe have this much of a rich food culture - you’ve gotta go to a village for authentic local curry based meals. You can’t beat Sri Lankan sea foods with any other food in the world.
I am so jealous...😡lol enjoy when you leave Sri Lanka you’re going to miss that place I was there last year in January it took me three months to get over it😋😋😋 I love all the cuisine The price point is awesome ...
Two of my favorites are: Curry Leaf at fhe Colombo Hilton and the Seafood Cove at Mt. Lavinis Hotel (dinner on the beach). Check them out if you have the time.
Food looks to tasty and inviting, miss been in Srilanka, we have several SriLankan restaurants here in Melbourne Australia but nothing compared to the taste and cooking back in SL 😀

I'was all salivating, fabulous different restaurants, brings back decades old memories of Colombo's Chinese, Indian, Pettah, etc, restaurants, but most these are very newer + few 4-5* places + all with their own new punches, but still many similar great foods too, this vlog make you want to rush over to Colombo on next plane, so badly.
The food looked scrumptious 😋 would love to try the cream brulee in a coconut next time I am back home. Bad luck with the timing of the vlog with cbo under lockdown. Enjoy our country and always be safe.🙏🙏
You should try Raja Bojun which is opposite Cinoman Grand Hotel in Colombo 3. It is a buffet spread of all authentic Sri Lankan food which is reasonably priced. On a higher budget you can try Curry Leaf at Hilton hotel. P.s check if the restaurant is open and is serving buffet with current Covid situation
Hi , in Ministry of crab you should have tried the oyster sixers , clay pot prawn curry , pol sambol , kani chahan and garlic chilli crab. The crab briyani is a very recent addition and not their best dish.

Indian restaurants in SL are not completely Indian. They adjust and alter the original recipes to make their own SL versions by using SL spices and cooking methods to cook. If it was an Indian, he would find these food much different from the food that he has in the native country. So I would say this is a Fusion of Sl and Indian Biriyani.
I guess that's why johnny's front sign shot says IND.summer, Fusion cuisine, but having lassi, hot biryani with steaming Nan bread cover, 4* interior, all get 2👍(like all other places too) wonder the costs though,

Hey Johnny ! Cinnamon lakeside does have a great assortment when it comes to their dinner buffet. But you should definitely try out Shangri la Colombo buffet at the central restaurant. It's the best in Colombo !
Colombo 3, Pilawoos is my goto place for any time of the day almost for the last three years whenever I think to have a meal out side during work or studies. Reasonable Price, Tasty, Good Portion and Friendly place.

During my last visit decades back( before mid 80 wars) we went to couple of very popular South Indian vegetarian eateries that were different & as good as most other local eateries offered non vegs..
Hello, is your tour to northern part of Srilanka is aborted? Are you return to capital city?. We expect more for northern part of Srilanka, including mullaideep, delf islands more places of Jaffa, Tringomalee etc....
One thing I notice immediately none of the serving staff wearing gloves or face mask 👎don’t expect from small roadside shops but in a star class restaurant they should implement as a law due to COVID
