FYI all the older gyro tracks (one piece teeth) can run these teeth and carbides!
We're also running his AFE teeth on the tigercat with great success!
**Note knives in the center or staggered throughout need to be staggered on the head example, one on the back needs to match one on the front for balance!
* if you turn the head on and it seems out of balance it is and do not attempt to run it until they're evened out*

Man I really appreciate you taking the time to make these videos. I'm just getting started in the land clearing work and ran across your channel when I was searching for a fix for a issue I was having with my bobcat. I really like that you think outside the box. Your stuffs more information than most guys on RU-vid. I didn't realize you're close to me. I'm down in Concord/Charlotte area.

Thank you for the info on the teeth and grinder. What were you referring to with killing the head on your machine? I just purchased a 299 XE and I have just been letting the head spool down on its own when I stop mulching. It usually takes about a minute for the drum to stop spooling. I have been trying to get in a habit of staying in the machine until it stops for safety reasons.

I need to buy some knew knives tomorrow. These rocks in Western Ohio are brutal on my Xtreme Wear knives.

Definitely give Jesse morin's a try his cells (860) 836-0692. His are definitely the best if having to deal on rock

Why put carbides on the outside? I’ve heard of it before but not sure the reason.

How many times can you sharpen your head with those 3M sanding disc? I feel like I only get one good sharpening before they start to die off and lose the abrasion

Yeah about once and it's time for another $5 pad for sure! Ain't cheap until you factor in your time.
