Hey guys, please sign up to my mailing list, I won't send you spam, it's mostly to keep in touch if anything ever happens to my channel: forms.gle/tQNShmJK1JhWEc5Q7
This is my first time viewing your videos. Amazing work! This info is like gold and you seem to have a great understanding of POD. Thank you so much for sharing!
I am one of those people creating AI generated art and I have been on RedBubble for almost one month now and posted about 70 artworks. I have got a few likes when my account has gone live, but other than that it looks dead. I also have an Instagram account that had decent traffic in the beginning but now seems to be dropping. My art is quite different compared to the other AI generated stuff out there, so should I just come to the conclusion that people don't like it, or is more a matter of traffic and keep posting? Thank you!
Great video, Tia! Going into 2023 and per your experience so far in POD, What are your thoughts on focussing on a single POD vertical like apparels(t-shirts, hoodies, socks) and then creating designs for multiple niches like sports and outdoor enthusiasts designs, dog dad and dog moms, baby & mom tees for this single POD vertical ? Or would you suggest sticking to only 1 niche rather like a POD store for dog owners and selling different POD items like tees, mugs, stickers, hoodies etc for multiple breeds and multiple designs on this store? I believe going into 2023 it will be extremely important as a store owner to go all in on presence on social media channel due to increased competition on Etsy so I am thinking if I focus only on 1 niche then it would be much better for my social media strategies but would like to hear your thoughts on the above since you have years of experience in this POD space, thanks ahead of time!
pretty specific question, but end of the day remember all that really matters money-making wise is a) getting traffic b) converting the traffic. On etsy/marketplaces you do that by creating quality listings with high demand and ideally low competition keywords. most of the time no one in the marketplace cares about what else is in your shop, if they even click through to your shop at all. they see the listing, may click on it, and decide to buy then and there. but if you’re promoting on social media it’s often hard to grow a following on a page with mixed niches because of the way the algorithms (ig, tiktok etc) work. so you can create different sections in your etsy shop, and say you have a pet niche instagram page, you can just link to the pet niche section of your Etsy shop in bio, or a specific listing. whether you do that with 1 niche, 2 niches, 100 niches, horizontals, verticals, diagonals, whatever, is up to you and what fits the vision of your brand. end of the day, its just numbers.
I recently discovered your channel as I'm looking at some POD for my business/channel. have found it super helpful so far... You have a new subscriber. Just wanted to drop in, give you some engagement, say hi and thanks for the videos 👍
Gorgeous and smart, deadly combo. Thank you for the great content. Question, is there a way to be sure about the qualities of our print with the sizes and pixels without having to order a sample of every design? And I have used your code for sales samurai 😊
I have a question! I saw you are using Printful. I want to sell in Europe but it seems Printify just doesn't have the same capacity in Europe as in US (despite what they claim). So now I use Printful for that reason... what are your thoughts on Printful, why do you use that instead of Printify? I'm looking for more thoughts and feedback from European sellers but I can't seem to find much online... appreciated!
Hi, I used a mix of both Printful and Printify as I was just trying to get the cheapest price. Printful ships worldwide and gave discounts if you sold above a certain volume so I stayed with them as I happened to start off with them for shirts as I used them for a while. But stickers were cheaper to sell with Printify. My main market was US/Canada though.
Thanks for the video...Really great. Just a quick question, would you mind sharing the details of the mic you are using?. Would like to buy a similar one and there are many brands in the market...thanks
Problem with AI art is that the computer is taking samples of copy written artwork from online of other artist to generate your art. That's the number one problem with AI art. That's what's illegal about it. And there a list of other problems with AI art. I am a professional artist myself so I'm not going to get into all the legal issues about it, but it's all very new and there are a lot of uses for AI text to help with writing listings for products, titles and tags. Also writing books and blog pages etc. The art aspect of it is just going to need some legal work.
All content creators on favor of AI Art without any modification cover themselves behind the complicated legal aspect of it and how they can get away with it with the right wording, not mentioning even once the love for art, just "hey use AI to make money on Etsy". If you are not interested on how much work it takes for artists to find their own voice and style, their processes and the satisfaction of doing something on their own, I would suggest finding a more interesting use of AI. It is frustrating enough already to see "Custom" watercolor and oil portraits on Etsy selling for even 70 USD when the only thing they do is run a Photoshop filter that makes the job in seconds. AI art should be used for inspiration to create something on your own, not for a copy paste process to exploit print on demand.
