Gordon Ramsay visits the French Table in Surbiton in search of the best local French restaurant in the UK for The F Word season 5. . #TheFWord #GordonRamsay #Food #Cooking .
Fucking double yeah. Please avoid these places. I'm sick to watch tourists going in crap restaurants, they deserve better. Just consult the good blogs, follow the new tables and everything will be fine.
Because they serve you of frozen, they did not cook. Avoid tourists sites but go to the small "brasseries" of districts and don't forget "vive la France et Paris"*****
French cuisine can be very rich, but it is also very delicate and fragrant too. I credit steak tournedos in the Dordogne for making me love great French food....it’s bloody delicious!
16 years old and me and my friends went to France last year in June as part of a school trip at first I was never keen on French food but once I gave it a try it's like taking food and presentation to a whole new level it's extraordinary
Heinz Fred Pas vraiment👿.
gwenael andros Quelle idiote.
The heavy cream and butter and cheese is mostly north style food. In the South, it more mediterranean. Dishes like Cassoulet, Ratatouille, Poulet Basquaise. Salade Nicoise, Bouillabaisse, duck confit with prunes...etc.
I had the chance to be invited in some of the most renowned French restaurants.I know what it tastes and it is not bread ! 😉 Italian "haute cuisine" is also very refined :) It is not pizza and pasta !
I originally worked there as a the Chef De Partie but when we started doing mucous mornay I was promoted to Chef De Mucous and would finish the dish at the table
Andrew Timothy actually, we almost never eat snails. Objectively, french food is not necessary the best one but the one for wich there are the most dishes.
"I know it's good because I like it." Coming from a man who likened food to a good woman? You bet your ass I believe him. This is how you know the food is good. It's all about the food.
so to put this out there, I've being going there since I was a baby and my parents know the chief his wife. there place is honestly amazing at Christmas and every time I go, my parents are best friends them and I'm french...THIS IS FRENCH FOOD _ Margaux
@@cheekychupakabra the 100 year war was not french vs british. It was french vs english, and for a scottish that is very different. And scottish were allied of the french during that war, it's called "The Auld Alliance" ! The Scottish kingdom even tried to invade the kingdom of England !
The French fries are from Belgium. In France, we never knew why you keep calling them "French" and I felt that it's kind of unfairness for our neighbourg ^^
Technically, Surbiton is a part of London and has been since 1965. So unless this was filmed before that (it wasn't) then this gem of a restaurant is in London.
