I'm old, and Genesis was the gateway drug to my appreciation of Rap. Flow can turn an atheist into a believer. Ren has said that Genesis is at the top of his list of his favorites. Also, he is the fucking greatest. Love you guys :)

"Pupils dilate in the dark, people die late in the dark." Rens' best friend ended his life in the middle of the night when he was 19. When it's dark, you see people for who they really are. Ren was literally 2 minutes too late running to save him.

Im going tjo have to back & check, but did you ever listen to Ren with Eden Nash ("Ocean" or "Humble")? Definitely a ska/reggae influence. And d8d you ever check out his "Back on 74/Message in a Bottle" mash-up/retake/video? Any cover of Sting/The Police will probably sound reggae-influenced, and Ren hits a home run there. ❤ Great reaction guys!

@MyCatalog23 My bad for commenting when I didn't have time to check your playlist (which I've watched & enjoyed all of). Definitely check out Ren with Eden Nash someday - even if it's just for yourself. They've only released two songs together, but they performed together at the Garden Party festival recently. I was pleased to see that connection is still there. (P.S. These songs have nothing to do with Ren's philosophical video "Eden" from the end of the Money Game treasure hunt.)
