*OG Uploader* Oh thank sweet baby Yevon someone re-uploaded it. My channel was hacked & terminated, so I've been trying to appeal the termination. Every once in a while I come back to this video for a good laugh. So I'm glad there are people that save and reupload these.
I still remember the top comment of the original vid basically saying "I can't imagine being the guy next door hearing "THE RACE WAR STARTS NOW!" in pure, guttural black rage."
Wakka's gonna make the Al Bhed bite the curb and stomp them at the back of their heads. They should've just played blitzball and know their place. But no, they kidnapped Yuna.
Matt’s stupidity in not getting to grips with the gameplay in favour of mocking Tidus and stuff was real annoying. I like the dude but he can be a salty jerk with painful takes on things. I still love this LP but I can now understand why some people (JRPG stans) just got exhausted by how Matt played it.
I have no damn clue why Woolie and Pat Stull do videos together and Matt and Liam do videos together ... but never even once have Woolie and Matt done a video together 🤔. I know they were friends with eachother before Matt and pat were "friends" but I guess Matt got Liam in the divorce and pat got Woolie
@@clockworkNateI guess he doesn't wanna be apart of someone interacting with Pat since they do podcast together. I remember the last time he mentioned Woolie was with a Cyberpunk trailer and he said Woolies name cause a fat black guy was on screen and Max constantly brings up Woolie randomly. I'm sure they're still friends since Woolie seem to be the only guy in the group whos good with everyone, he did intersct with Liam in Ultra SF2.
28:02 this part never fails to make me laugh between the dumbfounded Wakka discovering Rikku is an Al Bhed and Matt and Woolie's sounds makes me imagine Wakka going in such a fit of racist rage that he can barely articulate and sounds more like a beast.
No matter how many times I watch this video, hearing woolie ask why Wakka’s job class is grand wizard never fails to bring me to tears, bless you for the reupload
The absolute irony in one of the worst moments from Racist Wakka was actual dialogue from the game. 36:55 “Like happy festival fireworks, ya?” Godbless ya Wakka.
Look brudda, if you look at the smoke coming from that camp with the barbed wire around it, it kinda look like storm clouds movin away, ya? And hey! Who knows what causin that smoke! Could be nice crunchy cookies!
All I’m saying Brudda. They may have been led by a really angry guy, but they all knew how to dress. Those uniforms were incredible. Skulls may be a bit much But brudda You wouldn’t want to wear those uniforms?
what are even the chances that the stars would align and he'd be at THAT amount of HP at any point in a let's play running a bit where Wakka is a Yevon supremacist
"Ey Brudda, how can you say i don't love the Al Bhed when i named my child like one of them? Isn't that right *Proceed to call his child with the Al Bhed equivalent to the N-Word* ?"
is it just me, or does Wakka being the only person with an accent like his seem really fucking weird? Yuna spent over half her life in the same place as him & Lulu grew up there too, right?
At first I thought Wakka was a bit ridiculous as my only light of him was in Kingdom Hearts 1. But this takes him to a even higher level of ridiculous. And the fact that he is voiced by John DiMaggio, makes it even better. "Say it ain't so,Bruddah."
"Ey brudda, I'm just sayin I can't remember the last commercial I seen that DIDN'T have an Al Bhed in it. Do YOU remember any commercials recently that didn't have a mixed race couple? Ey! Advertisers! Putting Al Bheds in every one of your ads just makes me hate them more!"
You know, Wakka's character arc is about overcoming his cultural bigotry as he learned more about the world outside the religious bubble he was brought up in. He's my favorite character for that reason, but these guys made it impossible to say that without getting dirty looks. It's hilarious, but damn dude. XD
I just realized FFX takes place before FF7 Shinra was an Al Bhed The company he founded commits genocide and drains planets they inhabited plus they kill off the original inhabitants and oppress their own people Was Wakka and Yevon right all along?
Wakka was always right. You ever notice how any time there's any sort of injustice to just one Al Bhed, hundreds of thousands of em riot for weeks? We need to get these greasemonkeys off our streets.
if anybody is here after the most recent podcast by the date of this comment then you too thought Woolie was full of shit when he said he had to force any of this racist nonsense instead of it just being him having fun with Mat.
In reality this is all a bible story. Yuna and her guardians are Jesus and his apostles. Yevon is ancient Judaism and the Al-Bhed are post-Trajan Jews.
Yevon is very dogmatic for sure. But i atleast know culturally this is based on Okinawan culture, the names and such atleast like Tidus or "Tida" in Japan
Man this lets play series got me picturing Wakka donned in a white pointy hood speaking racist nonsense in Hawaiian pidgen. 😅 Mahalo to those on and off the rock.
Just recently finished playing through the game. Although enjoyable, was a step down in overall quality when compared to some of the past titles (when it comes to story characters, environment, and villain). But yeah, Wakka was unintentionally hilarious and I loved it.
