This video is incredible! Down to the editing and the tips, I’ve made some good footage by accident at night but I’ve been experimenting a lot with different color profiles and grading F log. This gives me the confidence to shoot in F log and still be able to get a good image. Your footage looks very stylized, it reminds me of Daredevil (Netflix) or even the original Ghost in the Shell anime. As a matter of fact, those are the vibes I got from the intro.

Eterna actually saved me a couple of school projects that needed to be shot at night. So this confirmation allows me to be more confident in shooting at night for next projects. Learning how to grade in f-log is next! 😃👍🏼

Thanks again for a great video! I find underexposing at night for night photography crucial, since in my experience any light meter will try to compensate and automatically overexpose. To work against that and of course preserve the highlights a minimum of -1 to -2 stops is recommended

I thought this was shot on film! When you showed the digital camera, I was taken back... would like some more footage to see what is possible with this... wait, maybe I was taken for a ride with the film scratches on the sides...? Bro! Get back to me!... actually... have you ever edited/colour graded ACTUAL 16mm/35mm film footage??? Great video. I have always been predominantly a stills shooter but I am trying to get into video a bit more so this was really helpful. It took me quite a while to figure out that you need the shutter dial set to T in order to set a shutter speed of 1/48th though.

An important setting that I forgot to mention if you’re shooting FLOG is “FLOG View Assist”. As far as I know it’s only available on the X-E4, X-T4, & X-S10. It basically applies a rec.709 LUT to your footage ONLY for the purpose of viewing it on your camera screen. It does not actually apply it to your footage when viewed outside of your camera screen. If there’s any other tips anyone has that could potentially help with shooting at night, please share them! Also, I used a background noise reduction setting for my audio to cut off some AC noise. I didn’t notice it till after but it seemed to have cut off my voice at times, so there’s some dips in volume when I speak. I apologize if it’s hard to understand and hear me at some points.

this video is so refreshing, Awsome. That dip in voice doesn't bother at all. Also please answer why you choose Fujifilm camera over sony,canon,Nikon (Because of sensor? Color science? Lenses? What is /are the Exact reasons for Fujifilm. Whenever I watch fuji videos, it feels very different. I don't know what exactly is the difference. I don't know how to articulate.
