Hey Emily! I just felt the need to reach out and tell you how much your channel means to me... I learned how to do my makeup from this channel years ago, and now I get all sorts of compliments on it. When I started watching, my grandpa had gotten Alzheimer's disease, and I would try to sneak a video every now and again when I got home from work and was hanging out with him...so there is a nostalgia there. Fast forward about two years, and he passed away, and I sort of escaped for a little bit through your videos while dealing with his loss. A few months after that, I left for basic training for the US Air Force, and I had to leave makeup behind for a few months while I was at bootcamp. I binge-watched your channel as soon as i was able and got back into makeup! My roommate at my first base watched your channel too! I've been in the military for almost three years now, and I still watch you channel all the time. I am now serving in South Korea, and would love for you to review more Korean beauty products! It can be a little overwhelming when you're so used to American products, and it takes forever to receive some in the mail! As a side note, are your palettes going to be released again? I would love to buy them both!
I love that you include so many drugstore products on your channel. We're saving to be able to move to a larger house with a backyard, so literally every dollar counts!
You give such helpful information and you’re so educated about it all! Being a single mom of 2 beautiful daughters, I can only afford drug store makeup, (especially since they are teens now who are starting to wear light makeup too) so this really really helps! I hate buying new makeup without knowing if it’s going to work well or not, so thank you so much for this! 😊❤️🙌🏻
Just started using the Revolution foundation, and I love it! And, I am 67 years old (uh, young!) and have dryer skin. This works well with moisturizer and primer.
Can you do a video on hydrating makeup?? My skin gets insanely dry now that the weather is changing and I'm in desperate need of a hydrating foundation!!!! LOVE your videos :)
Have you ever tried moisturiser before primer to combat drying issue? If not then I would suggest moisturiser of your choice is the key to prevent dryness. I have discovered that body shop's body butters work amazingly well as moisturisers before makeup routine. So far I have tried moringa body butter & it's perfect moisturiser for my extra dry skin, as it absorbs quickly without feeling greasy.
Really happy you did this video! I tend to forget the awesome things when I am trying new things. Why do we keep looking and searching for "the better and best" when we have already found it lol??? Oh well, it's still so much fun trying new stuff out!!
Woohoo! I love it when another Emily video becomes available! I was literally just thinking yesterday about which drugstore foundations were full coverage! 💗
The CoverGirl Outlast Stay Fabulous 3 in 1 Foundation is also a great full coverage option if you're oily. It is quite matte and transfer-proof on its own so you don't need a powder. I generally don't need a concealer with it. I think it might be too drying for folks with dry skin, but if you are oily you will love it.
The Maybelline Master Conceal is my ALL TIME FAVORITE CONCEALER!! It has been for years! So glad you rediscovered it. I can’t say enough good things about it!!
Karly Shereck Physicians Formula InstaReady and stick are also great ones. The stick concealer is so creamy and provides crazy coverage, but they only have two shades... The PF concealers are really underrated for high coverage concealers that don’t look cakey or dry.
The L’Oreal infallible total coverage has been great for me since I have rosacea. It is definitely one of my go to‘s! Thanks so much for your awesome videos! 😊🙌❤️
Em listed it in the description box which is awesome if anyone wants to get one! Walmart thermal Time and Tru, I believe. Wonder if it's still available? 😊
I literally could have predicted almost every product you mentioned in this video Em!! I’m STILL using and loving my Pixi corrector years later, I’ll forever be thankful for that recommendation! You always knock it out of the park when it comes to drugstore recommendations, ESPECIALLY for face products! You’re the queen of face products!! 😘😘
@emilynoel83 Congratulations on 1million subs🙌🏻🙌🏻👍🏻❤️🙏 You so deserve 10 million cuz you are so Amazing🙏❤️👍🏻. Love you and your channel your my number one you tuber🎊🎉🙌🏻🙌🏻❤️
I love drugstore and full coverage so really loved this video! For me - WnW foundation and Coty Powder are amazing. You look fabulous as always. ♥ Elle
Jen R Are they new? I’ve been using the Hourglass Ambient lighting pressed powders as a finishing powder, and the Hourglass Veil Translucent loose powder to set my face. They’re both gorgeous! I’m 43, so I don’t want my powder to look like powder. If I didn’t have combination skin, I wouldn’t use powders, period. Luckily, these are so finely milled you can’t tell I’m wearing a powder. That said, if there’s a great drugstore alternative, I’ll give it a go.
Emily, I have been going through Kelly's old videos of painting you. She is amazing. Had a video idea for you. I would love to see a chit chat get ready with us (You, Kelly, and your mom.) I just think it would be so fun to see how differently everyone does their makeup and hear whatever you end up talking about during the process.
Carrie Meadows I hope I can find that top or one like it. I’m in DFW and you’d think they’d have a great selection but some of her Walmart tops are MIA but I’m gonna keep looking. I’m sure you look great in it!
Getting caught up on your videos and I always read what else you have on your face. You mentioned talking about a Charlotte Tilbury set soon and today you mention you’ll be talking about your eye shadow and I’m so excited for those videos! I did also enjoy this video too 😁
So nice to watch you! Love your videos & your voice! Thank you for doing a drug store video. Also, your palette rocks girl! Great job! I'm a single Mom of a wild 4 year old little girl, full time worker, busy person, so your palette is awesome for a person like me!!! Much love all the way from Kentucky girl!!! Keep the awesome videos coming 😊😊🙂🙂❤️️❤️️
Emily, I am all about good drugstore make up!!!! Thanks for the foundation, concealer, & powder products. Next bring us eye palettes, contours & highlighters.
🙀Wow! Nice 👚top! I have one like it 😁too!! I’m just starting to get back to using make up and I’m bench watching your vids and picking up on several tips! Thanks for all that you do Em!! 😘😘😘
I am so grateful for the mattifying tips. I feel like I’m the only one with shiny oily skin and all you tubers focus on hydration. I use a few of these products already - but I’m ready to try them all! Thanks for the info Emily and you look amazing !
I love your reviews and opinions. The age rewind is one of my favorites. I love quote today too. ❤❤❤ I can wait a little longer for the wants palette so it gets here safely. 😊😁
I can't believe you just mentioned that Maybelline master concealer! I literally just rediscovered it last week, and I was just wondering why nobody uses it anymore! It's such a gem, especially for someone with really dry under eyes. You always have the best recommendations! PS love your palettes, they are amazing! They have every color I would have put in my "perfect palette!"
It used to be a struggle to find something that worked from the drugstore but they’re better now so now I feel like it compares more to expensive brands and I agree with you on all products that you mentioned today
I am so happy you mentioned that Milani powder! I picked it up on a whim a few months ago and fell in love with it. I never understood why people weren't talking about it. Such a gem!!
Emily, I've found that the Maybelline Fit Me Foundation (Dewy & Smooth) has some GREAT coverage with a Morphe Y6 brush! I've been having some problematic acne around my chin area, and it covers all of it! It's also nice to have a little dewy glow, but also have the option to diminish it with powder if I don't want to be super glowy another day. As well, my sensitive skin doesn't break out with this foundation!
Emily, I have every color in that top your wearing! I had this in my hand this morning and didn't get it, now I want it seeing it on you!! Lol Walmart Rocks this year!! I love that Maybelline Fit Me Loose Powder. I use it all over my face to set my foundation to! Heading to Walmart for that top, if they still have some left! Lol Great video as always!😘😘😘
Thank you for always doing a drugstore version of your favorite products Emily and someone mentioned this in the comment, you look great in that blouse! Mind you, you always great anyway! Love you girl!
I love your videos and this is another great one. I consistently save your videos to my pinterest makeup page for reference so when I'm in a store I can look it up get what I need. Thanks Emily for your hard work!
I absolutely love the Neutrogena concealer stick. Omg I finally got around to buying it just a few weeks ago. I also love the L'oreal color correcting stick. It's nice and light weight and don't make under eyes look heavy before concealer.
HEY GORGEOUS MS. EMILY !!! I JUST CANT TELL YOU HOW MUCH I AM LOVE LOVE LOVING YOUR PALETTES !!!! THEY ARE AMAZING !!! HOPE YOU COME UP WITH SOME MORE !!!!
Yes! I was so surprised with the LA colors pressed powder. It is a really good one. The ruby kisses powder foundation is really good too; not full coverage but a very pretty matte powder.
Thank you for sharing this much needed advice for the drugstore! So heading into the cooler months & needing different shades because of lightening of my skin & my one set of foundation & concealer is not going to cut it, I've got to learn not to shop thinking my skin is still a shade darker! Lol. Maybelline, Cover Girl & L'oreal have never steered me wrong when it comes to coverage. Can't recall which of these three made a *phenomenal set of stick foundation & stick blush in blue packaging oh about 15-20yrs ago that I absolutely positively loved!?!* if you know, I'd like to see if they have an updated version, obviously they would have changed the formula since then, bit if they had it & they would perform just as well as they did then I'd buy them!!! Long comment, whew! Sorry! Thanks for sharing & have a great day today! I do hope the stress levels have receded, hope you have an exciting weekend & if you celebrate it Happy Halloween!
Another in depth video!!! I have most of the foundations you mentioned except 2 but want to try those as well. With your help in this video, I now know the coverage level and many things I was curious about. MOST INFORMATIVE and I thank you for also always including the links to all products used. Since we wear the same color foundation I can always trust you to give an honest review. Take this as a compliment. Even the most basic of videos are thoroughly researched and evals are never biased. It’s just what does or doesn’t work for YOU. This video info was much needed rather than just hearing “oh it works great”. Your recommendations are what’s filling up my makeup drawers as they NEVER disappoint. Thank you! 😘
Those are great options and your lips are amazing! I like the, wet n wild cushion foundation, the catrice concealer, elf powder in the mirror packaging
Loved this! Def gonna try that Neutrogena concealer, and another good affordable foundation is the newer LA Colors radiant foundation, they have a matte version but I like the radiant for my dry skin. It’s buildable and a pretty good every day foundation. 😉
I’m loving your whole look you have going on here!!🤩😍 The eyeshadow, the lip color, and the top..really giving us Fall vibes and I love it!!🌾🍁🍂 Another great video!! Love you, Emily!!❤️😘 xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo
After having and loving the wants I finally picked up the needs! I didn’t think I needed the needs but boy was I wrong! Loving it and loved seeing it in its happy permanent spot at my NJ Ulta! ❤️❤️❤️
I use that Neutrogena concealer when I feel a bit darker under my eyes or I'll use it when I'm using any eye color that begs for a brighter under eye area. It's nice for sure. I've tried the Loreal foundations and the Revlon and they always wind up being a no go. I have dry skin and it's a pain to find a foundation that works for me. Powders are very, very difficult for me to get the perfect fit for me. It's not the shades that are my challenge but ones that don't enhance my fine lines and wrinkles and making me look like I just got hit with a powder truck. :) Thank you for the tips and suggestions, Emily
