cycles is for higher quality, when using cycles, only use it to view for a short amount of time to see how it will look in the final rendered image, but stay mostly in material preview

You need the Node wrangler add-on enabled for the nodes shortcuts, it's in blender just turn it on.

Should never set roughness to 0. I know it's a really common thing to do, but it's not realistic and can mess w lighting n shit later on.
