Got the Glock 19m last month got for $500 came with ameriglo night sights and a ambidextrous extended mag release and I threw my TLR1 HL light on it absolutely love it
I had the Glock 19 gen 4. The good, very very reliable. I do competitive shooting and accuracy had a lot to be desired. It’s just me but I like a manual safety. My concealed gun is the smith Wesson shield. My competitive shooting and if I go camping or hiking is the CZ75B with the omega trigger.
I love my 19 Gen 5, best for either home defense or my EDC. Never has it let me down and up to today has been the best choice I ever made in purchasing
I became a Glock fan in 1986 I picked up 14 a contract job I was about to get I wanted something carrying more ammo and it felt right in my hands. I later bought a Glock 26 Gen 5 and then found a Gen 4 Glock 30 in 45 caliber. I'm very happy with mine .
All about the Glock 43x with stock Glock everything including OEM MAgs. Keep it plain and simple and it will keep 100 percent reliable. 90,000 rounds later not 1 jam
I love my Glock 43X and my Glock 26. I pocket carry them in my Levi jeans pocket using a Sticky holster. I have no problems taking out my Glock guns from my pocket. I also have a Sig P365. Great handgun. Glock 26 and my Glock 43X are very easy to shoot, very reliable and accurate .
I have photos of one 40 cal from the sheriff's department that blew up and, as a crt glock mechanic, I don't know why the barrel chamber was blown up and I wish I could send you photos, but I don't know how
Honoring Gaston Glock’s legacy, which model do you think better captures his innovative spirit-the Glock 19 Gen5 with its compact versatility or the crossover Glock 19X?
19x. It finally interested me enough to buy my first Glock. Not sure why all the freaking out about it, or calling it a crossover. Basically the same idea as a Colt Combat Commander.
History: In 1993 Aberdeen Proving Ground was awarded a contract to test all available .40 S&W pistols available for adoption as the USBP Service Pistol. One of the tests was a 10,000 round reliability / durability test where three pistols of each submitted make / model were required to have less than 17 malfunctions average to pass. None passed, but the only submission that catastrophically failed was the Glock 22's and the Glock 23's. Each submission failed between 6,000 and 8,000 rounds. Glock corrected that problem by adding a locking block pin, but never resubmitted for subsequent service pistol competition. Question: If Glock added the locking block pin to prevent catastrophic malfunctions, why then did they drop that pin on the Gen 5's?
THEY HAVENT BEEN BEAT. EVERYONE STOLE FROM THEM BECAUSE THEY ARE SO DEPENDABLE. THEY TOOK 100 GLOCKS AND TORE EVERYONE OF THEM APART. MIXED THEM ALL TOGETHER AND SPREAD THEM ACROSS THE FLOOR. THEN THEY PUT ONE BACK TOGETHER FROM TGE SCATTERED PARTS . IT FIRED FLAWLESSLY. TRY THAT WITH ANY OTHER MARKETABLE PISTOL. SEE IF THE PARTS ARE THE EXACT SAME AND FIRE WITHOUT ANY TROUBLE.
they're all good guns bro, I have a bunch of Glocks, sigs, berettas, m&p, springfield, CZ and nighthawks. lets not do this team Glock vs the world, we are all apart of the same pro 2A family
I like glock. Usually, edc multiple firearms. I'll change up my hip gun, but the backup is always the Glock 19. I had a Glock 29 as a truck gun for fun 😄. My girl wanted to try it one day, and she loved it. I ended up "gifting it to her." I get to replace it now, and I kinda want another Glock.
Glock 40 MOS Gen 4 10mm owner here. Love this gun. With 150gr JHP Underwood ammo it is an absolute man stopper. Or, if hunting, you have options with Buffalo Bore that will put down a grizzly bear. I love it, but isn't the gun for everyone. It is a BIG gun and even at 6'3" 250 I have to open carry with this sucker to be comfortable...which isn't a bad thing since I live super rural. If I have to go concealed, I run my Sig P365XL. Anyways....after getting my hands on some 10mm fun I absolutely love the cartridge and feel it is well balanced for many purposes depending on the ammo you buy. If you want one, get it while you can - the G40 at this time is not being brought into the gen 5 lineup.
I've been a Glock customer for many years & own a (Gen 3) 26, (Gen 3) 27, (Gen 4) 29, (Gen 4) 43 & a (Gen 5) 43X. I have stopped purchasing new Glock models & have started w/Smith & Wesson instead. The Gen 5 Glocks are terrible & if Mr. Glock knew what's happening to his design, he'd be rolling over in his grave!!!
I own a G19 gen4 and a G43x mos. Out of both I carry the G43x everything is stock except for the sights on both, I don’t expect anyone to agree but why mod a Glock if it runs reliable.
My edc is a Glock 27gen4. My home defense is a gen3 glock23 with ameriglo night sights extended mag release , tungsten guide rod and a tlr8. Shoot smooth like a 9mm
G 19 is the best. G 17 is ok i used to have one but i sold it. It was huge and if it would have held more rounds i would have kept it but i felt like it wasent enough more rounds then the g 19 for the size. And the 45 is ok but is unnessasary
All of the 19 slide, 17 grip glocks are point less. Instead by a 19, a few 17 mags, and some Xgrips to go on them and you have the same thing. But can go back to a 19 size gun if you want/need too. Basically if you buy a 19 you are getting a 45 as well. So you are basically getting two guns for the price of one. Same for the 43 and 43X unless you want the MOS version.
Sad to see that the .357sig is virtually going away. When we T&E'd the 32 against the midsize M&P, everyone was highly impressed with the 32. One would have thought that with the 32 being lighter and less beefy, the M&P would have come out ahead, but it didn't. The 32 was about as comfortable to shoot as the 19 and far more comfortable than the 23. What kept us from going with the 32 was, at the time, the price of ammo was absurd. Also, with the M&P, we could take the midsize, use a full mag and added the sleeve that was designed to be a seamless extension of the grip. Glock wasn't able to do that and any aftermarket sleeve did not stand up to what the M&P was able to do.
My hands are inflicted with degen arthritis; I have been forced to downgrade to a G43 from G17 and 19. For me, safety and pistol control were more important than failing to acknowledge my handicap and mishandle a larger pistol. Go with what works for you and don’t worry about what others think about your preferred EDC. ✌🏻🤘🏻
I daily carry a Glock 43x but if it’s not just about concealment then it’s a 19x or a 45. 9mm is the superior round in my book. I don’t want to have to buy multiple rounds to go target shooting. All my guns eat the same rounds and that makes it easy. Plus in personal defense I don’t want a round going through and through and traveling on to possibly hit someone behind my target. Train with your weapon so your shots count and a 9mm is more than enough. Thats my two cents so take it for what it’s worth.
The list was mostly different from my Glock fanboy list. For me it's the G19 Gen3 in first place, after that, the only other Glock on your list that would also be on mine is the G40. I'd much rather have the G49, the G23 and the G48.
The M42 at #1? Ain't happening, at least not here in the free state of Florida. Gun shops and shows have these on shelves and tables with very few buyers. Turned down my wife's boss's offer to sell me his for $350. Gotta say that the 19 and 48 (especially with the Shield 15rd magazine and Ghost Trigger 3.5 lbs connecter❤) are still ruling the roost. Just sayin'!
If I remember right, getting us the G42 and 43 required that Glock create a manufacturing facility right here in the US, because guns of that size couldn't be legally imported.
This finger groove thing is a fad. To groove or not to groove. Glocks typically have the least ergonomic grips on the market. These guns need additional grip support and finger grooves do that. I have older generation models with the grooves. These guns are extremely accurate and easy to shoot mainly because of the better purchase that grooves provode. I've really wanted to purchase a gen 5 variant but feel the grip is just blank for the lack of a more formal description.
The 43x is currently the most popular concealed carry pistol in the world. It outsells everything. That aside, I would argue the Hellcat Pro is a far superior pistol out of the box. I will ask the group, what other pistol is as reliable out of the box with steel 15-round magazines, steel combat sights, aggressive stippling/grip texture, optics cut, and a true accessory rail (not proprietary)? The 43x falls well short of this whole package. Sig does too.
@@HWG-wm8ld I agree the Prodigy was initially a big fail for Springfield. I don’t agree that the whole line went to crap though. The XD’s are extremely reliable, solid pistols. But I was specifically referring to the Hellcat Pro. I am not aware of any reliability issues with it. It is accurate, comfortable to shoot, and the only one in that category that checks all the boxes.
I’ have a well tuned athletic build. The 19x is basically a Glock 45 without front slide serrations and has an amazing useless lanyard attachment. After buying several holsters, it’s the most uncomfortable and annoying firearm to conceal carry. Especially if you have a physical job. In my opinion if you want comfort which is the most important aspect of conceal carry, get the 43x. Not the 43x mos. Because then you might as well get the Glock 19 which is also not comfortable. If you worried about the 10 rd capacity of the 43x then carry an extra mag which is also small enough to slip inside a pocket. I’m not a fan of the shield arms 15 rd mag because it has known to malfunction on the odd occasion.
@@HWG-wm8ld ok bright spark. Don’t forget to attach your lanyard when dive into the swimming pool If you climbing up scaffolding and ladders with the 19/19x your clothes are going to get torn. If you sitting at a desk, you will have to remove your firearm within a short period of time. It’s too big and uncomfortable. The 19x is fine for open carry. Unfortunately that’s not allowed where I live.
19x is in my opinion a solution in search of a problem. Why not just get a regular 19 and run a 17 mag with a grip extension plug? Then if you want to run a 15 round magazine, you can. Want the 17 round mag? You also can. But if you get the 19x you are locked to 17 mags.
@@juancompres9593 if you think that, youre clearly not a knowledgeable gun guy. Glocks bring the bare minimum for reliability, but nothing else. They fell behind the competition a long time ago.
Okay but this is all your personal opinion and who are you and all this information is well known around the world it's like you're a day late and a dollar short but in your case many days and many dollars short
