They are are all M-16's to me. Some are short, some are long, some are fat, some are lightweight, some go full auto, some burst, some have lasers and lights or even bayonets. I've seen pink ones. It shoots 5.56 NATO rounds with the AR system. The AR system can shoot about anything with the proper barrel, bolt and magazine. , .22, 9mm, 10mm, 5.56 Nato, .308, Creedmoor, Blackout, Grendel, etc.. but if I say semi auto M-16, you know what I mean. If you say AR-15 rifle, I have no idea what it is. So, if you get the license to go full auto, is it still an AR-15? Then there's the AR-15 carbine and pistol..wth? "AR-15" is a non-descript gun term. M-16 just sounds better and we can define the caliber with that name. Basically, any rifle using the AR platform that is NOT in 5.56 could be called an AR-**. But that rifle was a M-16 when the world saw it for the first time. If it quacks like a duck...
TO ANYONE ACTUALLY WONDERING IF ITS WORTH GETTING NOW! I used to conceal EDC a G19 for years before I bought a G42 in 2023. I will say that since I’ve owned it I have barely touched my G19 for edc (disclaimer: I always keep a .357 sig G32 in the car just in case, even if I have another firearm on my persons). With that being said, it is extremely comfortable for the size the ducktail helps, I’ve shot Kahrs, rugers, and bersas the same size/caliber and the G42 is by far the easiest to hold onto and line up repeated shots with. The size is obviously a major plus and the fact that it’s single stacked keeps it very thin, lightweight, and easily concealable. It can easily be kept in your pocket or on your ankle as a back up. For the gun girls out there, my girlfriend has claimed this Glock because it easily fits into her tiny purses and is easy for her to shoot. Also you get the simplicity and reliability of Glock in such a small package. Lastly, after shooting the gun next to other micro .380s it doesn’t necessarily feel like you’re lacking in power, but it’s still extremely easy to control. I was debating between the G42 and the Springfield hellcat, and now that the hellcat pro exists I’m very happy I went with the G42. I would highly recommend the Glock 42 to anyone who’s looking for a simple reliable and easily concealable firearm whether you’re on duty and need a backup, for convenient personal edc, fitting in small purses, or you just want to have fun at the range. Saying the G42 isn’t worth getting simply because it’s chambered in .380 is kinda whack and biased. Yea it’s not the best caliber out there, but it is very effective with the right ammunition.

That’s not true civilians can’t all fully automatic rifles. You just have to apply for tax stamp same as the other weapons that were kept after 1986 you can own fully automatic rifles. You just gotta pay the tax stamp plus why would you they’re like 7000

My two favorite shotguns, which I currently own are...Remington 870 Wingmaster and Maverick 88. Without question the 88 is the best $200 I've ever spent on a firearm. Mav 88 has been outstanding, no issues whatsoever. I have the security model with 18-inch barrel. I also purchased a longer slug barrel for deer hunting. Such an affordable versatile shotgun.
I like Mossberg as a company and many of their products. I wasn’t impressed with the 88 series. Price was good but quality wasn’t. The 410 sides bulged after use. The 20 had a lift gate issue = when the pins got loose after use the gate would dislocate rendering tge weapon a club. The 12Ga seemed better built but my front grip worked lose and popped off. I had to drill out and replace the small pin holding it into place with a larger one.
I'm still kicking myself for trading mine. I've never had a single malfunction with mine and I love the 1911 style. It is a great gun to carry, but also not cheap either
Have a Kimber K6xs in 38spcl +P DAO, I’ve practiced using a speed loader, pretty fast at it, not much worse than my pistols if at all. Also, if you get into a situation where you need to shoot, local DA is going to have a hard time making you look like a blood thirsty killer. Light weight too, 17.5 oz fully loaded. Although this video leans towards the .357 Mag. second shot accuracy is said to be better with the +P and projectile effectiveness is arguably too close to be an issue. Price is affordable, just under $600. I appendix carry very comfortably.
