I think you are going a bit hard on GX personally. I have them in hand and they certainly do have some flaws (heel cup height, logo spacing, lace thickness), but so does h12. Performance is great after break in and the bang for buck is definitely better on these. GX right now is like 65-70 bucks before shipping depending on conversion whereas h12 has always been around 100. I think for the price GX is much better value personally
