you need to wear a bonnet basically every moment make sure to keep your scalp oiled so you don't have to scratch. Then it should fresh for Abt 3+ weeks. The biggest thing is avoiding water and steam from the shower so it doesn't get frizzy. Those two things keep it lasting way way longer

Those of us who have decided to grow out our hair have more diversity and we take care of our hair dawg. When you have waves you just have waves. When you got actual hair you can go for dozens of braid styles, could, twists, dreads or curls. Face facts waves are not that great in comparison

Having waves is a lifestyle and you don't understand that lifestyle you're talking to someone who's had waves for over 2 to 3 years. Not that great? It's less maintenance less expensive and on top of that their are different styles to as well just like braids and local I would argue that someone who has waves are more likely to get a job over someone who has locs or twists and I'm sure you can testify to that. And no waves are not older than braids or dreads these were some of the first hairstyles for almost every culture, with braiding being the oldest. It's not for everyone and it's OK. But the fact is waves aren't as good as most other hairstyles. And if you feel that you have to have a low cut to feel masculine maybe you're insecure. Also yes I've had waves when I was younger my curl pattern made it easy. However I dont care much for it now.
