At the beginning I thought he was going to do back extensions, then I realized he's doing goddamn static glute ham raises and I felt my hamstrings pop. Fucking insane bro keep up the awesome videos!
Your tweeks are unconventional and surprising but yet so logical. I'm currently trying everything you put out there to see what fits me. The old and big utubers are not keeping up with you, but struggle with tutorials on the same old stuff over and over again.

Just happened to cross your channel. I'm only 38, but have arthritis in my knees and hands. I wasn't kind to my body until a few years back basically. I like the focus that you put on why you have a variation, especially when it has to do with not being able to do things the same as earlier days. Keep up the good work!!! Wow, love it! Going to do it today. It is way different than I have been doing with the lat pull down machine. I was using the lat pull down but not tucking and assisting with the lat bar. I was not feeling it enough because of the assist of the bar. Please, please, please keep showing us innovative way to work differs muscles. I get like trying new exercises. If you take any video suggestions, could you do a video for shoulders? Like isolation work, mind muscle connection tips. You're the first guy I've watched in a while who gives a lot of unique methods of training body parts and I didn't seem to find a shoulder video from you. Your triceps and biceps video has helped me in the gym after trying your methods and a shoulders video would be sweet. Keep up the good work Ryan!
I second that! Shoulders are a hard gain area for me as well. I personally hate side raises with straight arms, tweak my shoulders every time. I started doing db side raises with my arms bent 90° mimicking the machine and actually feel it in my side delts. Been praying for a Ryan delt video!!

Really love your channel...the diversity and knowledge is great...always give you a thumbs up including this video....where the exercises do what they normally do to me ..(.wow..cool ...I'm using that)...but the finisher here is one that will have the hamstrings engaged last after lower back and glutes or they are continuously engaged but as a secondary. But as always that's my body and everyone is different...plz don't stop and let's get after it 👍
Bro nice content, excellent tips. How about a sports specific, exercise basketball or Nfl like best three workouts, for speed and vertical jump, this is good too. Keep it going.
The first two exercises is new to me. It’s very interesting. The back extension with weights, however, is the one where I could really feel my hamstring and glutes burning up. If you could pair it with Romanian deadlifts I could barely walk by the end of the session. Great information though. Thanks Ryan!
