Thanks Ronny. Was great to have you here in Sydney and do some 4WD-ing together. It's awesome seeing the big rig on your Modified! So overwhelmed by the support and all the comments. Big THANK YOU to everyone.
Just went through the comments to answer any questions people had. Reply here so I can get notified for any other questions you have. PS. No controversial questions please as I won't answer those. PPS. Thank you everyone on such heartwarming compliments. All I now need to do is to live up to them.
@@musahodzic9732 how do you get by nsw rego etc with such a large lift/tires? I've wanted to order stuff for my jeep here but curious about the process to get them engineering certified etc (assuming that's what you need to do?)
Wow what a great video. Great guy and great machine. Best part is where he is asked about the banter and he says 'I don't even joke about these things' that to me is a true enthusiast and proves his humility because he could have ripped into any brand considering he has one of the most beasty of all 4wds.
Musa is such a humble and awesome gentleman. Loved your eye for aesthetics and the fantastic build. You have gained another subscriber brother. Great vid once again Ronny! 👍🏾
Those rear brush rails are ingenious man! So sleek and discrete. Come to think of it, I can't believe I haven't seen a single 4wd in Australia with rear brush rails before.
Finally! I saw it on afw community that this video is up 👍 wanted to know the details for years haha. What a mad rig and seemingly a mad bloke. Well both of you haha. Keep it up.
Mussa is a genuine great bloke. Been watching his videos since the start. Must have been a bit cold because he had the boots on instead of his thongs. Keep it up boys you are doing a fantastic job.
Thank you Adrian for those heart warming compliments and for all those years of support. I decided to wear boots 2 winters ago instead of thongs full-time haha.
What a real cool dude, love his attitude and he really knows his stuff on 3 brands, probably way more, that impressed me being open not a closed off just Nissan or Jeep, Toyota fanboi, we all get a bit one eyed sometimes me too (go the 80, I have always liked GUs) subbed his ch! Have seen it on and off, hadn’t subbed earlier just because Im into the harder core OL not so much hard core 4wd, but this vid has won a fan and had me at Superior, plus it has an 80 on the channel, win win.👻 Q re the 40s has it got some dispensation for when the cert was done or is it legal in WA just unsure, thought 35s were the limit or again is that only on new vehicles, great episode cheers 👍
Thank you so much for subscribing. Superior gear is the best!! Also, we have an 80-Series project, just didn't get a chance to do anything due to a lot of private stuff happening in the past year, but stay tuned!
That rig is BAD-ASS!!! I thought there were some laws in Australia the governed the max size of tires and the use of bead lock wheels on the highway. Glad to see I was wrong. Really cool 4x4s in Australia and I just subscribed to his channel. Thanks again for another awesome rig review Ronny!
Wow! That thing has ridiculous articulation. That looked like the axles could almost be articulated to 90 degrees of each other! That puts allot of purpose built American KOH rock crawlers to shame. Wow. Just wow!
At 26:37 guys load restraint in a roll over is the cause of serious injuries. Proper load restraint should be encouraged. Get a cargo barrier at least would help.
On your Land Cruiser is a Hyperflex system, right? But didn't he (Moosa) get the Superior Engineering 5-Link on a pallet, some weeks ago? Is that one coming on, to go from Hyperflex to 5-Link on his Patrol? I could be wrong... Well, anyway, I really wish the complete top-shelf Superior Eng. kit for my Patrol Y61 for this Christmas, cause I have been nice to everybody for a whole year - and that's really, really hard...
@@jailbreakoverlander oh yeah I just realised he had an 80 as well. Not sure what he's running on it though. I thought you were talking about the patrol.
Nice rig, I was waiting to hear about the panhard relocation for better stability till he was cut off. Any more details on it mate? Jeep do kits but can’t find anything for patrols ones.
Panhard and drag link relocation brackets. I went back to the original with the drag link (as they don't suit tyres bigger than 35s) but kept the panhard.
Sorry mate, we forgot. I was supposed to send some videos across to Ronny, but forgot that also 😞 I'll have a video on it on the AFW channel some time in the future. Keep an eye out 😉
@@christiantowns9920 just haven't had time to dedicate to it, too many other obstacles getting in the way all the time as I recently moved house, so you can imagine. Sorry, but I'll get there eventually.
Would you have to have good mechanical knowledge to do this? if you had to pay for all the work regularly everytime something broke you would go bankrupt?
One man band dude, only so much I can do 80 videos per year would be easier with a crew not solo editing filming ect. If you like to see different stuff on sundays maybe consider helping out on Patreon. That’s the reality of it 🤙
Great fella, relaxed type of guy with great mechanical knowledge, not worried about a few scratches mechanical more important, beast of a 4wd, not fancy but built for purpose, chooses a 4wd not by looks but mechanical specs. great vid again mate
Long awaited episode... rohny and musa - two of my fav 4x4 guys.. Loved how humble musa is neutral to the brand wars. I figure toyota vs nissan rivalry is a big deal down there..
Snorkel isn’t just for water crossing it’s for breathing, cleaner air and better air flow eso for low speed crawling Id have thought he would look at that, same with diff breathers, car might be high but the diffs are still low, can’t do much water crossings. I’d actually like Ronnie to add to his segment re fluids used and service intervals would be interesting to know that per vehicle.
@@maverick2242 doubt he goes on touring trips on this. Would get defected straight away. Its a play rig for the most part just driving local tracks near syd
