I never tought i could wear a cap without looking like a weirdo, untill i tried my first 39thirty. They are like made to fit my head. I see caps differently now, its a great part of my wardrobe.

Best Fitting Hat. Excellent video. I started shaving my head a couple years ago. One side-effect that never occurred to me is how much difference the absence of hair made when it came to wearing sunglasses and hats. BEST FITTING HAT - Glad to see I’m not the only one with a tiny head. Nike Women’s unstructured have been my go to but they are not consistently sized so I end up in the women’s sections trying on 5 of the same color hat (while getting funny looks).
goood to know there's people with the same problem.. LOL.. whenever i tried almost any caps/hats, they'll just eat half of my face with the side can even cover half of my ear. I've never wear caps but it's something that i always wanted to wear!
yeah more companies really need to cater to us but maybe its not enough of a cash grab for them. But after making this video just shows that there is a market. seems to be more people everyday commenting on this telling me they have the same issues.
Man, can I relate to what you’re saying about finding a proper fitting/looking ball cap. I usually look in the kid’s section. Hopefully, now that I know more about the different types of hats I can find one that works for me. Peace.
If you can find "Ahead" brand hats, they fit the BEST. I'm a 6/78 with very little space from the top of my head to my ears and these hats fit perfect. The only problem is that they aren't a major brand that associates with sports teams. They mostly sell a blank template that stores and such put a custom logo on.
Only hat i could ever wear for my small noggin was Fox Racing Flex Fit in youth size......i think once i found them in a xs/sm. Hard to come by these days. Appreciate the Small Head Support Group!!! Love it :)
A few things that have helped me. I golf all the time so hats are a must. Biggest problem I have is the cone head- where the top is pointy. I usually wash my hats a few times - this shrinks them and soften them up and that has helped with some hats to get them to lay better. . Also, I curve in the bill a little- not to much but gives the illusion of a better fitting hat for a smaller head. Also I avoid hats with large lettering or logo - ya know the kind you see at a gas station that is all CAPS that says B R O O K L Y N or an over sized pot leaf. Also, once you get that hat to fit and look just right see what else is in that brand and size and scoop up a few more so you are not always wearing same hat - and I wash mine in dishwasher and air dry for longevity.
Hey, I work for a brand called Coal Headwear - we make a low profile and ultra low profile cap fit for smaller heads. Ultra low is really great for under 7".
Looks interesting, i'd probably buy one if I could get them blank without the coal logo. I don't even think I have a small head, I just like the look of a smaller hat and i'm super picky about the way they look.
@@hassanjamal4212 ultimately it's personal preference. I don't have a small head, usually large hats fit me. But my head kind of looks small in proportion to the rest of my body. I personally don't like the look of a big, boxy baseball cap or a huge beanie. It can make your head look small in comparison.
@@yugen with all due respect no it won't . you should always wear the opposite in order to be more presentable . if you have a soft round face , were angular or square sunglasses . if your thin and lanky wear loose baggy clothes . if your head is small wear boxy and spacious hats. the point is to introduce balance by adding the lacking metrics . NOT accentuate what is already obvious by wearing similarly shaped or sized apparel .
got the same problem here! I have hella hats that I like but don't even wear anymore cuz of the fit. I wear a 7 1/8th too and its hard to find stuff that fits perfect. I'm approx. 6 7/8 so this is definetely an issue for me. For those of you out there I have found Under Armour Blitzing hats come in S/M and are actually Small! (many hats labeled S/M aren't really smalls) this hat also comes in maybe 10 different colors and changed my life lol. For MLB some of the 47' Series come in S/M that fit decently as well. The brims on youth hats end up short & can look silly..
Dude.! You are right.! It ant easy finding hats for small heads... Believe me I been through it and when you now have to keep your head shaved because you went bald it is especially harder to find a hat or cap that's gonna fit and look right... It sucks man

I prefer fitted hats and I've found low profile 5950's look pretty good, still have the roundish bill but the cap is sucked down further to your head and if you shape the bill properly its pretty good imo.

@@keezytv7854 : Started buying Castro caps and put patches on them going back some years now. If you have a small dome, you can't go wrong with a Castro Hat. Amazon has a good supply and variety.

47 Clean up is the only hat I can wear. I used to always wear New Era Youth caps but they always hurt my head. New Era Casual Classics is another style to try. Pretty much any " Womens " hat will fit better then a Youth fit
Nike running hats fit my small head pretty well!!! And dad hats are my thing. My head sucks when it comes to fitted hats. I stay away from any hat that is new era because they always fit way bigger than any other brand on my head
This was great to watch. I wear a 7 our 7 1/8 and find it hard to find that that fit. I really like RVCA, Volcom and stuff like that and find that the youth hats for wayyy better
I also believe I have Alopecia.. it doesn't look too bad when I shave it I guess well, atleast if I look straight but the top is just ridiculous... wish there was a way to take care of it

Very good video that covers all bases. I find caps with a more curved bill work much better with my head, which I think is fairly small. Flat brims are a no-no.
BEST FITTING HAT Holy crap! I have been trying to find a low profile hat, structured crown. It's about impossible! Here's the deal that frustrates me. Maybe 3 or 4 years ago I was buying the 'Bird Cap' from Arcteryx company. It was a structerd low profile cotton twill hat. It was the BEST fitting hat I have EVER worn. I bought many. They used 'flexfit' for these hats. So years later I went to buy another, to my surprise I got it and it was different. The bill was not as stiff, the fit was loose, the material different. Wasn't as low profile as the others I bought. Looked inside and the inner band did not say 'flexfit'! They are now using some other company for their hats. That all being said. I cannot find a hat like that anymore! I searched flexfit company to see if I could find the type they used, nope. The only thing I can find really is the flexfit dad hat, which fir all the dad hats, it's the best. But I hate non structured hats. Hate maybe to strong. Anyway, if you're looking for low profile fitted hat, the only thing I can find that's good is the 'flexfit' dad fitted cap fir now. There on Amazon. Just type that in. So please I tried to figure out what type of Arcteryx flexfit they were using for that bird cap and can't figure it out. Arcteryx does sell a wool version of the bird cap now, but it's not the fkexfit version. So maybe you have more connections and maybe you can figure what they used for the Original Bird Cap. I'm telling you it was the nicest low pro fitted structured hat out there. Post a video if you figure it out. Please and thank you. Peace out!
I’m a 7 1/8 but I prefer the original 5950, you just gotta find the right one and curve the bill correctly and they look good. The low profile versions all seem to look weird on me
For those with a small head like mine 6 7/8 55cm Ralph Lauren do their classic baseball cap in a size 8-20 sounds like a weird size but they are the best I've found..
I have the same size and shape head as you. 7 or 7 1/8. I recommend the Richardson 115 Low Profile. Also a bunch of the Travis Mathew golf hats fit really well!!!

As a person that has a tiny fucking head this hit home. I still prefer fitteds, though so I recommend 59-50's low profiles; HUGE improvement for people with tiny heads.
A video has never spoken to me as much before. It's always hard for me to find a BEST FITTING HAT due to my head shape and this video helped on what to look for. I have few hats that's are just not for my head and I can only wear them backwards. Thoughts on 5 panel camps? Fit us usually good but I guess the brim is too round usually.

I typically look for youth hats. They seem to fit perfectly for me. My friend used to say my head is an optical illusion because its alot smaller than it looks.

I’m a 6 3/4 size head man. 😂 I literally have to buy kids hats or women’s because the brim has to be shorter to match my face and so I can completely fill in the hat. Even dad hats don’t really work for me. I end up with that space at the back of the head and it kind looks deflated.

I can't believe I found someone with my same issue! I have a teeny tiny head - kinda like Beetlejuice. haha! Well, not that small, but I have a child size head and can't find hats to fit me anywhere. I play golf and there are so many nice hats that I can't wear. I've found a few "youth" hats that fit me, but the bill on those hats sometimes look ridiculously small for a grown woman. I found a woman's golf hat many years ago that actually fits me; I still wear that hat today. So, pink has to go with EVERY color that I wear playing golf. haha!
Best fitting hats… 47 brand Franchise Fit. They are fitted.. literally the only hat I can buy. They don’t come in fractions, they come in small, med, Lg and so on. I’ve tried youth hats, not a fan. And I don’t like having a adjustable for the simple fact the back strap just blows in the wind. But I’d would definitely give franchise fit a go.
Nixon and Travis Matthew used to be my small head trucker hat go-to’s, but BOTH companies started selling gigantic hats and I’m once again without a hat that fits my tiny ass head. Going to try youth sizes in different companies, will report back.
@@mvj1153 I did find a good hat company called King and Fifth, but they don't sell trucker hats which is my go to. I was able to get a workout hat from them that is closer to what I'm looking for, but hilariously was just a bit too small. Just tried Nixon again this month actually, still too big despite their marketing claims. I'll go in and try Travis Mathew hats when I'm at the local mall, 95% of the time the hat is too big, but every once in awhile I'll find one that doesn't look bad.
Thanks for the vid. My head circumference is 23" and in 59FIFTY I wear 7 3/8 but the brim is way too wide and the crown is too high so as you can imagine the break-in process is lengthy and the result not ideal. The best fitting cap I've ever bought is the Nike Metal Swoosh Cap that's Adjustable. I got it for around $22 on Lids 5 years ago and I just checked online and Zappos has it. Happy Hunting.

New era makes 6 1/2, 6 5/8, 6 3/4 fitted caps. Personally I have short hair and a small head I can get away with wearing a 6 1/2 snug or a 6 5/8. Most people buy caps that are much bigger than their actual size more or less sitting on their head as opposed to being snug on their head
BEST FITTING HAT - also hats with more panels will give mor of a form fit. I’m a size 7 and 7panel hats are my go to. They’re in the same vein as the camo hat and the other dad hat.
On field minor league hats are shaped exactly like the MLB hats but now New Era offers low profile hats that are work throughout the MLB and seen on the sidelines of NFL games. Some hats that are snap back and/or strap back the front panels can vary in size.

my head is flat at the back - i guess my mum didnt turn my head enough as a baby sleeping - so i havent found a cap that doesnt look stupid on my head. The bill always looks too long and i cant find a cap that has a shorter bill in terms of length not width. Anyone got any ideas?

I have a small head and I'm bald, I find that vans, obey, and certain 5 panel hats work fine, also, if you really have problems finding a good fit, try on some youth size hats, you'll find that some of the bigger youth size snapbacks will have a perfect fit

@@lampmanjosh for 5 panel I have good luck with zumiez, also thrasher has a really 5 panel, just their basic black one, I wash and dry them to shrink a little, also with structured snapback I'll get them wet with hot water in the sink and put them in the dryer by themselves, that will always help as well

Keezy TV yep sure is. I’ve bought a bunch of low crown hats from them. Got a yankees 7 like I have twice before and it was really tight. Got a 7 1/8 and it fit. Bought a raiders size 7 1/8 same exact style and it’s huge. It’s like I need to order both sizes and return the one that doesn’t fit. We are not alone lol. My brother wears a 7 7/8. Polar opposites. I’m on the search for better fitting caps. Might try this Nike futura strapback.
I'm glad theres others with the same issues lol sometimes being in this position makes you feel like your alone because everyone else seems to have no problems fitting into larger hats and having better "normal" shaped heads hahah . Also I'm not sure if you watched it but I made another video about tailoring a snapback to fit your head better because New Era made new Retro Crown hats that are not stiff in the front. Keezy TV yeah I felt like I was the only one lol that rocks a 7 lol. There’s more people than we think that have slightly smaller than average heads. Like literally who the hell cares about a 1/4 inch. I have a buddy that rocks an 8 and he has hella problems finding hats. Is what it is. I’ll definitely check out the vid. Patagonia has some lien crown hats as well I might give a shot. They only have one that’s all black without a bunch of bs on it. Death to flex fit caps lol

You still luck out a bit because your head is a bit wide still. I have the same size head as you but more narrow from front view, and oval from the top view. Plus my style is urban so the very curved baseball hats don't really work for me. I have one cap I bought from Walmart long ago that's near perfect with being that urban New Era type style, but it's small. Probably made for kids but that hat is so worn now. Ever year I buy several new caps to find something that works, nothing yet LOL But this video is giving me some direction, so good looking out!

Fitted 59fifty LOW PROFILE hats are always good for me, 7 1/8, not too long of a face and big ears, looked goofy as fuck with regular 5950s, unstructured dad hats, but the low pros did me good
Got give you a like for this video. I have a 7" hat size and even in that size some of the New Era were too big. Thankfully the Nike hats saved me because its really tough to find a hat that works. Especially when your picky like me.
after all these years it really bugs me that brands have never catered to head sizes that are small like ours. clearly with how many views this video got there is a market of people who struggle with this. but brands just continue not to show love. crazy. anyways thanks for watching
I bought a retro crown and low profile the other day and it definitely looked better for my small head 🙌🏻 I just didn’t know with a low profile I had to get a size smaller lol
