@@TheNubaHS Monk probably S tier in blitz, though. Port is one of the strongest FC cd's in the game, and monks are the best healers at rotating out of fights.
And that is what everyone should do… Class balance went to shit when people started to jump ship on their favourite classes to play the meta one. Starting the rolling coaster of nerf/buff weve had for the past decade
I've only been playing Mistweaver for a couple of months but one thing I've noticed in Arenas is that it's really difficult for a MW to deal damage because I generally want to kite the enemy team and constantly try to LOS them. With a lot of the other healing specs they do damage from a distance or have DoTs etc. to help mitigate this.
As someone who has played MW since they launched, MW would be so much better if they just balanced it like the melee, damage weaving healer with ranged utility that it should be. they keep trying to balance it around being able to choose melee/caster and one is just always stronger than the other. I feel your frustration
Considering it took about 5 hours pre expansion to get a alt from 1-Max, everybody will be play Evoker in Arena OR suffering doing 2-3x more work to maybe Win.
I made an evoker, it spawned me level 10 in the intro. But exile's reach 1 to 10 only takes like 40 mins anyway, and then u can level faster than doing the evoker intro. So overall u save maybe 30 mins tops. Idk what level u exit the intro but prob around level 18-20, given that 1 chapter of the intro is roughly 1 and a half level in exp.
I don’t like playing any of the healers. Maybe hpal but it seems like there’s no healer style that fits me. Although i haven’t tried evoker yet Edit: you know how dope it would be to make a 4th spec for mage that’s an arcane healer or somthing like that. Omg i been preaching this gospel for years. Would be absolutely sick and so many more healers would be available since it’s one of the most popular classes
@@luizfelipemelo1098 AND MANA. WTF was that shit about, HPal gets a rework feeling insanely fun and not even a month later it's shit tier. Don't worry, they are getting another rework to being powerful again. Time to level up my DF Pal, I didn't think it would get fixed so I waited.
@@Kanoog they keep trying to reinvent the wheel and destroy our enjoyment within the game. Srry im not buying TWW, these devs in charge of paladin class have no clue to what they’re doing
I'm gonna have an unpopular opinion here, but I don't think fistweaving should ever be the "Meta" way to play MW monk. I just don't think it fits Mist Weaver well. I think punching should be more like kittyweaving. Dont the sole way you heal. I wanna literally be controlling the mists!!
I'm a returning player who hasn't played since 2012. I'm looking to pick up healing for PvP. What you recommend for a returning player? Something that's powerful and also simple/ not too common. In the past , back in WOTLK I've healed on Shaman, druid and paladin. but I'm open to anything
Druid can get you pretty far by just playing defensively and avoiding CCs. And frankly at the lower levels if you can have enemy spend 6 sec trying to CC you for 4 sec.. Who CCed who really?
I feel like resto druid so far hit way off... So far i've only seen/played vs Mistweavers, Evokers, Disc priests. Everyone else seem to do +500k HPS in SS, however i can hardly press 300k with all hots up and playing Germination etc. really frustrating. Am I the only one?
Healing in general is difficult, compared to most dps. These tier lists are good to explore and get ideas but i would look at their older videos talking about class archetypes and pick something that already fits your style!
Never try to learn PvP as healer. You will have a better experience and learning curve starting with a DPS e.g. Warrior or Hunter. When you learn the PvP mechanics and how the flow of an Arena match is going. Change to a healer and start with either Paladin or Rdruid since this two specs are do not relying to much on hard casting. Tobe honest I would even recommend a Evoker but the range will be very difficult to manage as a beginner. So really risky for beginners, though worth it when mastering.
most healers are insta cast now besides mw and holyp. I second vote for presvoker, their kit well makes up for them having shorter ranges on some healing Side note at lower ratings people usually dont kill shaman totems Lastly if you do end up taking this advice and starting dps, i would pick something that has some sort of support (shaman, priest, evoker) then you can easily spec into their healing specs when youre comfortable
Good tips by all. As a somewhat “still learning healer”, I would concur that holy paladin is pretty user friendly to learn on since the “whack a mole”, reactive style is an easier healing method over all than having to be proactive. So although I do feel that my holy paladin is a little weaker right now, I can still put out some big heal numbers along with some good basic utility and have a great time. And the plate armor and shield make you tough with some cool lore
@@Yv_K so many ppl are gaslighting its insane it removes even the little chance for druid to get some buffs, the removal of adaptive swarm was a lot and this purge meta is the biggest counter to rdruids, and they got nerfed 3 times in a row in the beta
@@kaloqnmihailov5684wahhhhh you can't press 2 buttons and do 300k HPS? You actually have to cast? I feel so bad for you. Sitting there flailing in circles pressing 4 hots was so difficult!
