Very nice and informative video, probably one of the best desk review videos. How is the wobble in this desk. Please consider doing another video showing wobble characteristics of this desk.
your videos are professional, detailed and well presented. Yet your subs count hasn't grown as much as you deserve over the years. I think it could be the overly formal delivery style in monotone. Try to bring in some humor, entertainment value or a creative editing. But I must appreciate your dedication and conviction. All the best!!!
Yeah, the installation is definitely not easy to understand. I actually didn't film things correctly step by step, as even I was a bit confused about what to do first.
Hi Siddharth you are the only one who has made a believable review , I am getting the same squeaking sound on both the sides , just bought it day before , do you still get that squeaking noise often or has it disappeared forever after putting WD-40 ?, because before ordering WD-40 just thought of asking you once.
@@TechReflex Thanks , is WD for lubricating and is there any other thing that is specifically for lubrication and better, like I have machine oil , and secondly any maintenance tips and precautions to take as they are not mentioned in the manual ....
@@soorajtrivedi74 machine oil should also be fine. I just had WD 40 around, so I used it. It is used for lubricantion too, and can be sprayed, so I used it.
Hi Siddharth, do you feel this table top would be able to support dual 27" monitors on a monitor arm (being particle board)? I was looking for a new desk for myself for the same purpose but all IKEA desks and Greensoul desks are mostly particle board? What would you suggest?
That's something I also wondered. Even though I don't think it should not be able to handle it, for extra peace of mind, you can attach a small plywood piece at the bottom part when tightening the monitor arm mount on the desk, so the weight is more distributed.
Hey, did you also consider the Jin Office dual motor desk? It supports weight capacity up to 125Kgs. I would have preferred more custom length options for the Alex table top as 160cm is a bit too long for my current place
I think all of these are imported and rebranded from China, so the difference wouldn't be so serious. You can go for Jin office if it's size and price fits your needs.
I purchased This table but that steel plates which attache two pieces of table top ply with each other suppose to be 3 but I got only 1, 2 plates missing in box... Now how to get those ..? Without that I can't joint table top ply
Really nice review. I am almost convinced to buy this, the only thing I am worried about is the table top not being single piece. Does the table top bend in the middle due to weight? I have a monitor arm with one 27in monitor would it support with out bending? also in the future I am planning on getting another 27in monitor and have a dual monitor arm setup. So worried about the split. Also this is dual motors right?
@@nsv.2344 thanks, it doesn't bend from the middle due to weight, and it should be able to handle monitor arms, but maybe for better peace of mind you may want to replace the table top.
Is there a difference between how the vertical height can be set between an automatic and manual rising desk? For ex, for the automatic desk, does the desk stay at the position where the button was last stopped, compared to the manual desk where you need to keep doing the manual rotation until the next hinge point is reached ? Essentially trying to understand if the automatic desk provides flexibility on setting the vertical height to any height? Or is that the same for manual rising desks too, and the height can be set to any specific point manually too?
It's doing quite well. It's in my every new video. Everything has held up quite well, though, I don't move the table up and down a lot. Still hate the split table top, but it's only an issue because of me needing to shoot on camera.
And i wanted to ask, since you have all these mouses, basilisk v3, g502x, keychron M6, which one should i get. Usecase - software productivity, where i map workflows/Macros to the extra keys on mouse. Not gaming
