As much as I like to hear stories if humans being ruthless warriors, I love to see the softer, gentler side of hfy ever so often. Could you please make more videos similar to this one?
Ever try pulling your boot out of an inch of mud? It's not exactly easy, especially if that mud has clay in it. Two inches? That's where you start to slog.
I don't think they are on earth in the story so it maybe that they are on a world that has less gravity then we have here wile still being more then the birb can handle
One thing that has me twisting my head a bit about this is how essentially a bird, very much capable of flight, a fourth the size of a human would be sinking that much in mud at all, when said mud barely affects the human. It just doesn't add up at all.
Headcanon: her feet/toes/claws are very very small, so it's similar to a knife sinking in deep when you stick it into earth. While human feet are like snowshoes
@@NetNarrator The beginning did explicitly state that she was able to fly (under lighter gravity). That, even in lower gravity does mean a lighter frame.
@@Salt_discriminater Half correct - It would likely require a lighter build to fly there than in any area of a heavier gravity. Meaning that she would in no way struggle to walk in the same mud a human has no issues plodding through.
On the bright side, when she DOES get off the planet, she's gonna be SHREDDED muscle wise. High gravity meas that everything she does is going to be exercise!

I love this one. There has to be a reason for the reputation, so, in this story, we're still the Space Orcs, but we're also the one of the sweetest, most compassionate critters around. It's good to see the gentle side. Interestingly, it's that gentle side that often brings out the insatiable God of Death and the demonic hellspawn War Mongers in us. Kill a man's dog, you get John Wick; murder a busload of children, your species will go extinct if you don't wipe us out immediately. Demons run when a good man goes to war.

Had a bit of a break due to a combination of graduating, moving, and getting a new job so I’ve been hella busy-but I haven’t forgotten about this story! It will continue! I think it’s wonderful that your willing to share this brain-child of yours with the rest of us, and while there will always be those of us out there with a ravenous desire for more (and those who want you to work yourself into the ground to get it to them NOW), do please remember that this story is YOUR brain-child. I’ve read through a great many of the Reddit comments, and there are plenty of people who try to tell you how and what to write, but if you don’t enjoy where the story goes, it’ll impact you unhealthily. As long as you’re having fun, so will we! (Also, have you thought about getting these things published in any capacity? I think it’ll do well as at least a short story- if not a novel- on its own)

So glad you like it so far! 😊 And don't worry--I've had many others tell me the same thing: "Don't rush (haha), we want more but take your time, we will be here when you're ready!" So I took that 3-month break to get my life settled, but now that it is, it's full steam ahead! I can't wait to complete it! Ket and Andrew mean the world to me, and I can't wait to share the rest of their story with everyone! As for publishing... I have *vaguely* thought about doing it, haha. Since I have been posting the story to Reddit, though, that makes publishing a bit complicated. I'd probably have to take the posts down (which I don't want to do since that wouldn't really be fair), so I'm not sure it would be feasible. Who knows, when I get to the end, and I decide on rewriting the story to fix the issues I have with it right now, I might try to figure all that out and officially publish!

Not necessarily. If the atmosphere is composed of denser gases than earth, then lighter gravity won't necessarily interfere as much as you might think. Also, if the lifting force of the wings is less than acceleration due to gravity, flying still ain't happening.
