On some of them the goalie could have easily made the save or done something better to try to make the save. For instance the goal at 2:43 the goalie should have stood his ground not allowing the shooter to shoot right over him.

The d was already collapsed so the goalie did the right thing and held his crease but the guy just had a good shot

Noah Bzoskie Yeah but when you move out towards the player you give them options. Sure you will be bigger but if you stand your ground you will cause the player to think more. If the player thinks more the defense might be able to regroup and check him, or he might force a bad shot where the goalie saves it or hits the goalie. This is something you learn at goalie school.
