Oof I’ve been to the sand caves before and I dident know you had to climb to get there and I’m scared of heights so😀 also it so so fricking windy It was almost a whole sandstorm
Thanks for the comment. There is no "trail" or distinct path up to the caves. You basically have to scree up the side of the sandstone face which is about 45 degrees or steeper. We saw kids do this, so it's family-friendly and not too difficult. I have bad knees and I made it fine.
@@TheAdventureTravelers we did this hike there last weekend, withour kids, and I felt there were a couple of places that weren't particularly safe for kids, on that angle like you mentioned....we did it, but probably would have skipped it had I known this. I thought the sandstone was a little too slippery for them in one particular section. Be very cautious if you do take kids.
