this was my first time watching OWC, and i dont have any words for this match, everything came following the script to TB, unfortunately SK lost but WHAT A TIME TO BE ALIVE, worst hr player you ate literally a beast and the best tournament player ive ever seen GGWP, see you guys next year
Thanks for all the amazing recaps this year Juni, nobody else truly does it like you do. Wouldnt want it any other way. Whether you continue recaps next year or not Imma be SUPER looking forward to what content you'll craft next !!
This years owc was so entertaining! Thank you again for the (maybe last) recaps Juni! Du bist eine Bereicherung für die osu! community und ein großer Teil der world cups für mich :)
Thank you so much for the recaps, seriously, they were perfect for people that didn't have many time but wanted to stay tuned with its favorite game. Hope next year you can make 2024 OWC recaps too. See you soon!
this is the first time hearing your korean after 2016 losers match recap. yep that was so close, i think they will not be able to pull up this performance for a few years, but sk did really showed all things they could. so i'm glad about it. and congratz to usa for 6th winning in a row.
and to juni, your recap is the reason i really enjoyed owc. i was in this scene as owc viewer since 2013 but this recap thing feels like great dessert so i always watched every week of owc. i wanna say thanks for your content, and good luck for your other content! 올해 recap도 고생 많으셨습니다!
Best owc I've watched yet.. Thanks again for the recaps as always. I'm not sure if you feel pressured to make these every year 😅 but I really enjoyed the new style. Watching your recaps always makes motivated to try harder to join sk's owc team in the future.. maybe next year I can finally reach 5k rank to tryout for my country :)
I watched the match live yesterday, and I never felt so emotional to a circle clicking game. This year had been so chaotic in a good way, that I actually don't mind if sk failed to take down us this year (noooo). I know that all players in the match did their best, poured their hearts out, and played all-out to make this amazing match. I wish this will become the case for next year's owc, for it has been a fun time for this year's iteration
Appreciate the recaps throughout the years, whether you continue to make them in the future or not, best regards to whatever you will be doing in life!
Another iteratin done, and probably the best one sofar, despite the quality nerf. I hope that next year, we will see a new champions with these results from different rising countries.
Thanks for this amazing recap. It’s been probably the best owc since at least 5 years, and I m glad I enjoyed every part of it. But idk why I feel like osu! will never be the same again 😅
it was still HR3, it was still worst hr player, it was also shiba and dio in both semifinal and grand final. what a miracle this owc was. our commentators must have felt like they were living in one of the greatest time to commentate.
wow this must have been the quickest recap video you have pushed. its only 3 matches but still. In terms of OWC, it was the most hype it has been for years, with only the ending leaving a bit of sour taste in my mouth. i guess this is how many people are feeling.
I'll start this off by saying that I really wanted SK to win despite the overwhelming odds against them To be honest, I did NOT expect a match this close but the players in SK really proved me wrong. It was a slight shame that they couldn't close it out before the tb (props to boshyman though that fm3 performance was insane), they probably knew they had little to no chance to win tb against the USA (as their opponents had better mechanics in general than them and unfortunately for them, that's what the tb massively featured) One hell of a match with the legends and newcomers on both sides clashing it out for the title, I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. I hope SK can come back strong next year with forum really leading the charge (and being able to play anything >200 bpm well) PS: oh yeah and thanks for the owc recaps this year Juni
@@Racers03he can do 200~210 bpm stream and high bpm burst, but tb is more close to high bpm stamina(long stream). that is his weakness, so he couldnt be in the tb match
I'm personally sad poolers ruined this world cup entirely. The pools were overall much more forgettable and chaotic, I really don't think owc is the tournament in which you can experiment that much. And to top it off, that last pool being incredibly biased towards USA really left me on a bitter note at the end. 5 raw speed maps in the pool + many more maps US favored, + an unwinnable tb for Korea... The excuse that you can't increase the difficulty without an increase in BPM is complete bullshit in my humble opinion. You could do lower ar, higher cs, gimmick finger control, more slidertech, alt maps WITHOUT 270bpm bursts in them... etc And I mean when you see stuff like Dada's tweet denying all of it and basically telling that the Korean players just have a shitty mentality to point out how US favored the pool was... yeah, you really feel the bias coming from one of the main organisers of the tournament. I wouldn't have been feeling this way if USA had won on a fair pool. I was of course rooting for Korea but if USA were just objectively stronger, that's how it is. But here, with how close Korea made it despite the pool being ridiculousely targetted against them, I feel like on a normal pool Korea would have won like, 7-3 no bracket reset. So not only is it unfair for the Korean players, but in my opinion it tainted USA's victory quite a great deal. And from what I saw in many discord servers and on twitter I know I'm not the only one seeing that problem with this year's owc. Anyway, thank you for all the recaps as always, sorry for the rant but I really hope that next year the staff won't attempt to hand the win to USA again cause if that's how it's going to be every year, we shouldn't even have an owc in the first place.
@@adim2222Just another USA hater. You don’t understand that they put in a lot of hard work, they don’t automatically just win every match or get an advantage, they actually work hard to win these OWCs just stop hating on them because they’re the best team.
