I don't like seeing a cougar die. I usually skip forward that part. I know it's legal & their numbers need to be under control. I'm also aware that they're dangerous & have been known to take down pets & even humans but a part of me thinks such magnificent creatures need to be left alone.
@@FarmerFpv I’m a avid hunter and I will say that cougars are some of the most majestic animals we have on this continent and the fact that you say f-cougars just shows what kind of a douche bag you are
Again, wonderful video sir. I love your compilations.❤❤ In 13 minutes, one can enjoy so many precise hits, adrenaline and fun. Congratulations very much, wonderful trophies. Thank you and I look forward to the next video. Thumbs up gentlemen👍👍👍
Many of these shots were terrible..and the arrow to the gut on the Ram... Spend some time behind the trigger and don't hunt with a bow unless you are good!!
@@MuleyFreak The only bow shot to consider is close and broadside...the only rifle shot to consider is within the shooters accuracy range!!.. All of this thousand yard huskamaw sniping bull$h1t is just that.... I am 70 years old and have hunted in many states for various animals.. Hunting is just that get as close to the game as possible and make a good clean kill.... Many of these big money dumba$$es show up and have never even fired the rifle!!.. Some 3oo boom and Slammer.... Stick to good hunting guidelines
Somewhat but it’s harder to hit an why would you wanna risk hittin the smaller target an the animal runnin away then getting it in a good spot that jus drops it lot easier to hit
If it's an easy shot and you don't care about the rack then take a headshot. When shooting long distances you want to go for mass. The same reason police officers shoot center mass rather than taking headshots unless it is a hostage situation. When you have buck fever the easiest shot can become a nightmare, especially for those with not many hunters under their belts.
Some animals populations have to be controlled cause they damage nature like bop cats feral cats coyotes etc Somtimes animals like bears love to explore so they get out of their lands and visit another lands and they damage it so they have to be killed Also some animals like deer over produce and damage nature somtimes so it have to be balanaced Its harsh but its what its Also we eat deers meat and use their skin so its not going to waste
I’m not a hunter at all but when u kill the only male deer or male animal in the pack what do the females do? Do they just find a new male for the pack? And doesn’t that leave the females vulnerable for predators?
@@bsalley76 None of them are questionable shots. You are not seeing them from the correct perspective. Most of the ones that look like gut shots are quartering shots. It still goes into the heart and lungs with high-velocity calibers. Even the best of the best can have buck fever and mess up a shot. Humble yourself, you donut.
Im not a hunter so maybe one can explain why the aim often goes for the lung etc. But isnt the most human way to kill an animal shot to the head? I know its difficult as hell to actually hit it but i just wanted to know.
They aim for the lung and heart of the animal because it is a bigger target than the head and if their off by a couple of inches it will still penetrate the lung but with the brain if u mess up the animal will be in more pain and the lungs and heart obtain lots of blood vessels so the animal has a less painful death.also if the animal is a male the antlers can be used as a trophy.
That elk shot at 1:10 is an ungodly bad shot. Looks like the pass through hit one of the cows... isnt one of the firearm safety rules know your target and whats beyond it?
Hey yall! I am new to big game hunting. Wanted to ask everyone what their shot preference is for bucks: Heart, Lungs Only, High Shoulder, Neck, Head? Also curious as to what your confidence is when taking that certain shot. Thanks yall
Aiming for the lungs/heart gives you more area to hit, that being said the heart is tasty so it's nice to not shoot it, but if you do it puts the animal out faster. If you can hit high shoulder/top of lung you can drop the animal in it's tracks but risk taking out back strap or just spining the animal and not killing it. Head is a smaller area that constantly moves so that's a risky shot and if you care about the skull or antlers you risk damaging them For us a well placed lung/heart shot is always best from any distance, you get a little room for error but best way to harvest the animal. Thanks for the comment!
Not unless you feel sorry for the animals you displaced where you built your house, the roads you drive on, the office you work at, the shopping center you shop at, the restaurants you eat at, the airports you travel with, the fields your food comes from…. Since you do all of these things hunters harvest the extra animals that are now crowded into a smaller area. Plus they enjoy getting their own food, natural protein. Everyone hunts including you, you use a dollar bill and have others to it for you. Without proper management there wouldn’t be the wildlife that exist today. Hunters do more for conservation, saving wild areas and the animals big and small than any other group. To answer your question, no they don’t. They understand life and don’t feel bad. They are are feeding their families with the meat while helping manage all the wildlife.
I hope I can be constructive with my criticism because I'm a hunter and hunters need to be united. With that being said, these videos make it look like it's all about the kill. It seems like the entertainment value is only held in ending something's life. Hunting is about conservation, time outdoors and with family. These clips don't depict any of that. I feel like showing the process as a whole represents the community well. These kill clips send the message to folks outside our circle that folks who hunt just like to kill stuff. It potentially sends a message that we don't respect the animals but disregard their lives. Have a nice weekend.
That was a heart shot, you donut. Headshots are heard even for the best of shooters when under pressure. That was a perfect ethical shot. Go find your safe space and cry. You obviously have never hunted in your life. You don't take headshots with a bow. Why click on a video that you know has killing in it and than cry about it? Go click on Disney videos.
Our ancestors hunted out of necessity... Other than invasive species there arent many of these natural wonders left. I think its selfish of you to think they belong to you
