in my opinion you should include your hand measurements when talking about the shape (this is the first video I've seen on your channel, so I don't know if you've added this in future videos), if so I ask, what are your hand measurements? xd
I saw this guy outside of Tim Hortons once he kept knocking over a homeless guys spare change cup with his foot and laughing when the hobo had to scramble to pick up all the coins it was really screwed up tbh
@@sdog_ I can't wait to see their new offerings. They are definitely way up their on my list for gaming peripherals. I adore the new Razer stuff. But I've been looking for THAT mouse for a long time now and haven't found it yet. Been maining the XM2we and been loving it but with my dry hands the coating is very slippery and there aren't any grips for it that aren't thick af. Drives me nuts 😂
@@ThePlantedTankTV Yeah coating can be really annoying. I'm someone who is extremely picky when it comes to coating, I really like pulsar super grips and xraypad cicadas. I prefer just the universal ones instead of the ones that are cut for specific mice though.
went from the g402 to this mouse its literally 3x lighter and my aim feels much faster since im a low sens paid 13100 yen (81USD) it arrived 15 hours after ordering (crazy)
@@lemonke5341 my close friends are still using old logitech mice, I’ve been trying to convert them for the past couple of months to get something more competitive. Glad you enjoy it brother!
would u say its worth switching from my superlight to this? ive been thinking about getting a new mouse because my scrollwheel is dying so i would like ur opinion
@@joongames6495 Personally I would say yes. With a bungee you don’t even notice the wire and I haven’t found anything to replace this from being my main. The value and performance of it are unmatched
So I have a 144hz monitor, a 3070 GPU so putting this mouse on 4k or 8k wouldn't really do anything or would it? Or am I just better getting the non 8k version and just getting the 1k version they have for like 60 bucks. What ya think is best?
I would still go with the 8k. The benefit isn't quite as much at 144hz compared to 240hz or higher, it's definitely still noticeable, and I would imagine your system will be able to handle the higher polling rates just fine compared to my dated hardware (1080, 8th gen i7)
@@sdog_ I appreciate the response and info.. I think you helped me make my choice.. I'll definitely be getting this mouse. Thank you, and awesome review!
@@sdog_ I definitely plan on loving it haha. I've watched damn near every review on this mouse, and you were one of the few that mentioned the 4k-8k with 240+hz monitor stuff. So that was very helpful, then of course your reply to my question sold me. So thank you.
The pad in the intro b-roll is the Kanami x Plus collab which is a control pad, the one you see on my desk throughout the review is Kurosun Samurai which is a balanced pad :)
@@senzu8149 if you’re willing to give the cable a shot I 100% think the 8k is worth it. It has objectively the best high polling rate performance and it feels incredible to use.
The higher you go with polling rate on a mouse the more taxing it is on your CPU. At 8000hz your CPU is processing 8 times the amount of data that it would be processing at 1000hz, which can cause frame drops and micro-stutters which is where the bottlenecking come in. For older hardware like mine (8th gen i7) that isn't well optimized, it's pretty much unplayable at 8k. I think that if I were to reset my computer and optimize it properly I might be able to get better performance, but I think it's time for me to do an upgrade regardless. Hopefully that makes sense.
@@sdog_ Yeah totally makes sense. I agree that it reports back 8x as much as a 1000hz mouse but didn't think it would be as demanding. I've got a 9700k and 1070 (also due an upgrade). Haven't had the chance to get a 8k mouse yet but good to know that its likely to be a bottleneck so best to hold off on it.
@@1dragcs Yeah, 4k would probably work fine for you, but 8k can really only be taking advantage of with very high refresh rate monitors (like over 380hz)
Its funny though that 8000 hz isonly 0.000008Ghz, and these days most processors run at 4.5 Ghz or higher... like why does 4k and 8k have such a big of a performance hit
The think 6.5 V2 has been my end game. I really want to experiment with HE keyboards but it's hard for me to justify it with how much I adore this board.
@@sdog_ nice :) i heard the new wallhack sp-004 is pretty good. Im also waiting for the Artisan Key 83 to release. The current reviews speak highly of it.
@@SSahkurah I really want to try out all the new artisan pads, type-99 launch was a disaster so I wasn't able to pick one up :( I hope that the key83 will be better.
@@cosmin.8432 they actually do make a wireless version of this mouse, it’s the OP1we. However, that one is only 1k HZ and is a little heavier at 58.5 grams but the shape is identical.
@@prixivus85 this is a great question. I would love to be able to test something like that but I don’t have the means to do so currently. I feel like most modern chips can handle it but it would be super interesting to gather that benchmark data!
I can't speak on the vv3 pro because I don't own it. I would like to pick one up eventually but it's very expensive. I do know that it has been very well received by a majority of the community, but I can't comfortably give you my recommendation on it yet.
