I love how despite not knowing that a Jad just spawned at 1:54 , Woox still quickly reflexively turned on Protect from Mage from just the sound cue alone. I feel like hardly anyone even after fighting Jad a thousand times would have been quick enough to react to something like that in the heat of the moment even if they knew it MIGHT be coming. Woox is God tier.
i remember watching v the victim spawn zuk healers live, myself, victim, and everyone watching felt their heart sink as what looked like a few tbow hits from the first cape instead was a huge middle finger from jagex the world had not yet seen, thanks for the compilation
5:00 i keep looking at this over and over again and it looks like he was clearly behind the rock on every single tick. The attack of course, as always, hits RIGHT through the middle of the rock anyway. Now that is some f ucking bullshit. Great work jagex
the timing is more strict after zuk enrages (healers spawn) as soon as he sips brew he has already been targeted by zuk and it is too late to not tank a hit

pretty nice to see this piece of history, nowadays everyone has guides and knows what to do. They didn't. Can't have this sort of thing again where people go in and don't know what to expect. I see now that It was pretty unreasonable for jagex with zuk.... being able to hit him only from some weird strange ghost spots with no warning at all and no second chance.

jagex did such an amazing work with the collision of that rock. Amazing game. He was behind the rock on every single tick, and the attack goes straight through the rock
Go to 5:06 you see he's too far behind the shield at the exact moment Zuk flinches. By the time boat ran up and the attack launched, he had moved up to the shield and that's why it looked like he got hit through the shield. A tile too behind a tick too late.
He was just 1 tile behind the shield when zuk attacked, the attack is decided when zuk animation begins not when the projectile is launched, that was a very unlucky death
So you have to fight JADS _with healers_ WHILE juggling the boss and his bobbing rock thing? And the rock can DIE?! edit: And then the boss spawns healers that drive its hp from 0 to full in seconds and fill the room with smaller AoEs. Fricking what?
You can choose when to spawn healers by not lowering the boss below a certain health threshold, so you have to kill Jad first and then spawn healers. You don't want to deal with both at the same time 🙃
@@tehbrowncow the question should be how do you realize not to stay with the shield first time or not that’s the most common sense thing. But lots of players need spoon food methods and don’t have any intelligence themselves
