Full disclosure - I was pumped to get this and I just installed and I'd say the sound difference is negligible. It certainly makes the engine bay look better and maybe slightly, slightly better performance but I was hoping for the sound. Just my independent take on it. Marc at Williams Performance is a G though!

Felipe Gonzalez that’s a shame mine was an obvious difference, it helps massively to have an ITG foam filter with it as stated as that will allow for better sound as opposed to the paper filter bmw provide...

Just fitted this to my M140i Manual. Pleased with it. I have a standard filter currently and I’m waiting on delivery of a panel filter. There is more turbo noise, mainly when it’s first spooling up low revs. Biggest difference is the throttle response. I wouldn’t say more bhp but the car feels more urgent for sure.

I read somewhere (bimmerforums I think), that 'The resonator is not a muffler or a silencer - it is there to remove the cylinder-by-cylinder pulses of air. It does this to achieve better MAF measurements of the average air-flow. Any changes in the sound are purely coincidental, but you may well affect the ability of the MAF to measure airflow at tick-over!'..... Just thought I'd make you aware matey.....

Has anyone received one of these yet? Can they confirm it does infact increase the sound of the turbo? The box on the stock air box isn’t a silencer it just removes certain frequencies like a resonator

Sorry a bit late on to this one - 2 Qs - 1) would this pipe confuse the cars ecu? And 2) do you need to let your friends at the insurance company know about it?

Come on my guy Deffo need one of those suspension v12 gtf30. I bought the engine but i dont have the car what can i do 😔😔😔😔. My wife left me too man said 2.5k for the combustion and the engine throttle gearbox. The engine indicitators worent working so i needed to buy a new chassie cmon

What kind of engine oil do you use when tuned? I’ve heard that the 0w20 factory oil is way too thin.
