I really hope so and I hope my OnePlus 8T+ 5g is enough to get me in the game. I think I am just going to order the Movo phone kit and maybe the Vxr-10 Pro but I'm not 100% sure yet.
Just a quick tip for anybody filming with their iPhone. If you want to do the transition where you cover the lens with your hand in one shot and then open the lens with your hand in the next shot, remember that the iPhone will automatically cut out any footage of the beginning of a video if it’s black, so you have to film for a couple seconds then cover the lens up and then uncover it and start your video.
@@paulpaints hey there, why podcast because no1 will see your vids, they can still call in oh only if you open phone lines do what is comfortable for u
One thing that people don’t realize is your smartphone is capable of shooting some really amazing footage. Don’t use the excuse that you don’t have a professional camera or microphone. Your iPhone + an external mic is plenty for a channel! If you say otherwise, you’re just making excuses! 🤷🏻♂️
Quick tip for iPhone users, i use the Mavis camera app to film, it allows for many different settings on your iPhone such as changing the FR to 24fps, which is a game changer in my opinion. It allows me to have a relatively clear and HD video without using a camera!
Love this - perfect timing for me. Thank you! Listening from my iPhone speakers the iPhone mic sounded just as good as the Rode, however, if I had headphones or AirPods on I would presume I could tell more of a difference....but again...not a big difference when just listening from my phone’s speakers. IMO.
What about a wireless mic for the iPhone that clips to your shirt if you're shooting an instructional video, for example a workout video in a noisy gym? Recommendations?
Great vid :) Dumb question from aspiring vlogger: Do you always use your phones rear cam? I find the front so much easier, because you can see yourself and operate your phone, With the rear I have no idea of the angle. I'm doing more of a stationary setup.
Love your content and I especially love how you all fine the best tech for us. From High end to low end and everything in between. Thank you for being awesome.
My channel is mostly filmed outdoors and I've recently got the rode video micro and it does make a big difference with wind. I still get weird looks though 😁
Those tripods for my iphone 12 pro max, the mount clampe are always on the edge of popping the phone right out, theyre not secure enough ever, how secure is this clamp? Referring to the #2 set up
SHEEEESH BRO Thats what you call a REVIEW! Great work man! Definitely grabbing that 40ft one! 😂😂 Fr tho this the first clip of yours I've seen, for sure subbing. Looking forward to more dope content!
So I’m watching all your videos and I’m loving it. What would be the ideal kit you can create for us to just buy? Lens, lights, microphone & etc since their are so many options. Traveling, vlogging, editorials & etc
One thing I cannot emphasise enough is having a smartphone tripod/holder that has a cold-shoe mount on the top. If you don't have one of those you'll have a horrible time getting your microphone to stay in place. It's not a given that tripods come with cold-shoe mounts built in so you need to double check before buying.
'Who's mans is this' 🤣🤣🤣 thanks for all the tech gear info, Omar and co! I'm a huge Think Media fan. Keep em coming! Arohanui all the way from Aotearoa, New Zealand x
LOVE IT!!! 7:27 "Like, don't buy Starbucks for two days and you'd be straight." 😂😂😂😂😂😂 Also, I would recommend changing the title because these tools don't seem to be iPhone specific. If they are, you did not mention what makes them specific to the iPhone.
May GOD bless and protect you in JESUS name! May GOD and JESUS break every chain! May GOD and JESUS fill pieces of you that need it! GOD IS GOOD! GOD is love in times of hate, GOD is strength, GOD is light in times of darkness, GOD is harmony in times of chaos, and GOD is all you in need! If you need more love/strength/anything GOD is there! GOD LOVES YOU JESUS LOVES YOU! GOD BLESS!
Ok so completely unrelated to the topic of the video but I’m deaf and wear hearing aids, and 3:27 the part with the loud background noise and you can hear the microphone cutting out, that’s a pretty close representation to what it’s like when I’m trying to hear someone in a really noisy place, not exact but close. Thought thought I’d share cuz I’ve never really been able to explain it well :)
Awesome video! I would recommend buying the Ulanzi U Rig Pro. You can mount your microphone, lights and other gadgets. It can also be used for stationary or on-the-go setup. I cover it in my smartphone recording video, check it out if you guys are interested 😁
Think media! Give this man a raise boy is legit great!!! soo much good info from him ps: LEGEND HAS IR IT if THINK MEDIA GIVES ME A LIKE I WILL BE A HAPPY CAMPER
„But they didn’t pay us for this video or didn’t sponsor this video so we can be honest about the setup.“ 😅 Bro..?! 😀 Btw, thank you for this information!
I have a tip for the shogun mic for people who don’t use a handheld… turn the setup upside down so the shotguns at the bottom. U will see why it’s called a shotgun. If u have some sort of grip it is pretty nice
I've never seen a Think Media with you in it but I think you should record ALL OF THEM! IMO, you're way more personable and relatable. Although you do say "clutch" a lot, lol. 😆
Hi. Thanks for all your videos. They are super helpful! Can you possibly do a video or recommend a vlogging setup with an iPhone where I can attach both a portable light and the Niceyrig mirror with a tripod and a shoe mount for both the light and mirror with a wireless microphone and an affordable wide lens? Also, instead of a portable light, replace with a standing ring light for stationary videos with the same setup. Thanks in advance!
Thank you much for the information. I wish I had saw your video before buying my selfie stick. Mine is from Amazon and will work fine but I believe the cheapest choice in your vid will be perfect for me specifically because of how the stick holds the phone in place. Mine, you have to pry apart the clamps and they squeeze the phone in place which is very sturdy but I like the ease of the screw down way. Thanks again for your vid.
Thanks Omar! I am a newbie. I watched this video twice. I like the #2 set and going to place an order. Love most Think Media’s video contents. Please keep up. 🙏
So how do you know you are in the frame when shooting with the front facing camera as opposed to the selfie side? I know that sounds like a stupid question but I struggle with that and knowing I am actually recording or taking a picture.
Completely understand - because I film using rear camera...just comes with practice. That said, the front facing camera for some iPhones (12 and I think 11) do film in 4k...so that’s an option. I found myself glancing towards the screen too frequently and decided to speak/look directly to rear camera because it’s less distracting.
Yea arms length distance is kind of the closest you want to be - if you’re doing sit down-talking head videos just shoot a test clip to make sure of the framing
Paid or not figure do you want to get the best reviews everybody loses touch by the seams of money and a little bit of fame of any sort member you were nothing at one time like everybody and we all are doing this is supposed to be fun money does help but you know the way you said it sounded a little shitty I do watch a Videos
I say convenient is the main key. It’s getting heavy and cumbersome if you added anything else. I’m just plugging in a lav mic with 20ft cable is crazy already.
I think you need to listen to this video again to hayu stated that around two minutes and 43 seconds listen to what you just said if you were paid it wouldn’t be an honest review what is that supposed to mean because we know what that means
