Probably a toss up between the lenses and the podcast mic thing for anyone recording a podcast directly from their phone coz that can also come in handy for doing other styles of video's like vlogging combining basically things you would normally buy separately but ultimately a good combo of any of these accessories mentioned throughout the video is very good.
Ayyye I own that selfie stick. It comes clutch especially the Bluetooth remote attachment 🔥 I think I actually even got the recommendation from one of your previous videos discussing RU-vid starter accessories for anyone recording off a phone
I’m slowly upgrading my set up. I just ordered the selfie stick tripod you recommended from this video and the selfie mirror cause I’ve been using my front facing camera. The Mirror alone is gonna elevate my content because my back facing camera is wayyyy better
This was a great video! Cleared up a few things for me, and definitely added value!😊 Not to mention, short and to the point! 😉 Thanks so much, Alicia ❤
Could I ask you for more information? I ran into a "storage wall" better known to me as Google's 1 . I am new to the storage game and wonder how others do it or how a camera overcomes this problem (SIM). Thanks for your comment.
A really great intro to gear for this beginner. Any chance you could give me a solution to complete avoidance of google one storage limitations. Is a smart phone som in a second port or even a camera a good choice? Love to see an upcoming step by step for a beginner's first time. I so quickly hit the storage wall...I was almost obliterated from my "super cool" inspiration position I had self- created. Currently using an Oppo A94 5G . Thanks 👍
Nice reviews. As for DJI, I still use an OG DJI OSMO Mobile with my iPhone SE 2nd gen. Works extremely well. For an audio interface, Saramonic's Smart Rig II is an inexpensive solution for single-input balanced XLR or unbalanced 1/4".
I have a question when i record myself with my back camera it looks weird but my front camera is mirrored so it looks good can i switch my back camera to look mirrored or no?
The "Niceyrig Monitor" really helped me esppecially when I shoot all my content on my Mobile from my Pixel2 XL to Samsung S21, thanks @thinkmedia for the recommendation
Thank you darling you have been selected on my draw.. Message📩 me on the telegram info on my handle to claim your prize🎁 and watch out for more videos.. Thanks for subscribing 🎉
I like the idea of using your Apple Watch with the strap wrapped around your phone as a monitor. I've done this a few times. However, my watch face shuts off after about 2 minutes. I've adjust all of the time out settings the best I can. "Always on" doesn't seem to exist. Any idea? Currently I am just trying to remember to tap my watch face every so often to keep it awake. Luckily the watch face shutting off doesn't stop the recording. But it's a pain to break the flow. Any suggestions? Thanks, DJ
Hey! What about managing storage on your iPhone? I have a 13 regular, but it’l loaded down with stuff which I’m working on. And I do have a new iPad, BUT!!!! Longer videos? How do I not eat up gobs of storage and what’s the best way of getting it off the phone since I can’t plug in microSD cards directly. Esp if I’m using the mic you referenced?
Great video, Omar! Find this item on Amazon: "DJI Magnetic Ring Holder Phone Clamp Mount, Compatible with Magsafe DJI OM6 / OM 5 / OM 4 SE / OM 4 Adapter, for DJI OM Accessories and Gimbal Stabilizer" Turns the DJI mount into MagSafe, no more pulling the mount around your phone or taking off your phone case. For the ~$15, it's an awesome way to make the OM4 or OM5 what it should have been out of the box.
*Another great vid Omar!! I use the DJI Wireless Mic which is so awesome!! Also, I was able to get the Niceyrig Monitor for $20 for Cyber Monday! I know the TM folks are fans of Rode. I guess that is why y'all have reviewed it...hahaha. There is more bang for your buck with DJI's mic system because you don't have to buy any cables or 3rd party accessories.*
Thanks for the tips! Your sony vlogging camera video prompted me to get my own camera so I can make videos about my uber eats adventures - thanks again
But the room needs to be Quiet now , because once you record using the Movo mic , you can’t use effects such as noise reduction which come with Audacity …. Does anyone know how to reduce background noise when you record directly into your phone?
I normally hang a large blanket right behind where my phone sits, which absorbs most of the echo etc. Background noise is trickier, In some of my videos you can still hear my kids from another room!
